Hi Guys. Thank you very much for this video. Really made it easy for me to change both, the covers and lights. Really appreciate you. PS: french-english accent rocks ;-)
i just bought these of amazon , i was going to return them , but as the light can be seen from inside , i will keep them , thanks for the video guys !!
@@markblackman2542 Oh sweet, got some skinned carbon ones on atm, not the greatest tbh. They fit and look good but add a little thickness which bothers me a little.
You two made it look easy, which it is. I've watched other people remove the motor mount. Why? Anyway, I ordered these for my A3 and I'm looking forward to installing them.
Yeah not sure why either as not needed, rather straight forward mod and great for looks. Often around the mirrors though, seen some unbuild half the assembly to just change the cover yet just need to unclip them and clip them back.
@@Beardchanics I did it guys. I followed your video almost exactly. The only things I did differently was I left the mirror hanging on the second one I did and when I was putting the inside screws back in, I used a small piece of electrical tape over the screwdriver and screw so I wouldn't drop it into the abyss. Thanks guys! Take care.
It depends on whether you have blind spot indicators or not. If you have mirrors with blind spot indicators you need to remove the plastic frame cover of the mirror (and therefore the motor mount) in order to remove the the blind spot light from the inside.
i have the version with blue light also. when mirrors fold, there is a blue light. there is a 3rd cable that needs to be connected to mirror power positive cable. do you know which cable is that ??
Don't have any personal experience but it seems possible to retrofit them. Lot more money as I think it's basically switching the rear lights block for newer ones.
Is that turn signal light blink bit wierd or is just a camera? It looks like cuts off sometimes faster and then slower. 9:17 and forward, just look closely.
It's a trim remover kit. It was inside the indicators kit but you can buy kits. This one is small and cheap amzn.to/3I7KpJX - there are more complete kits too, useful to have imho.
Hi, I have just installed these on my s3 however the indicators when putting hazards on both are too quick and sometimes only light up half way. Is this a fault with the indicator and I need replacements? Or is it something I can fix or i’ve done something wrong? Please let me know. Thanks
Hey, never had the issue myself but I had a friend that had similar issue on a bike and said was related to a resistor being needed or something. What year is yours? It's possible that depending on the version of A3 it is the firing mechanism is different and could affect the result. Don't really have a solution though, more possible source of the issue.
@@Beardchanics it’s a 2019 audi s3 i believe it’s the indicators that are faulty because it’s a fairly new car. and it’s really just plug and play so i’ll try get new ones and try again. Thank you though!
Hey brothers I need you help please I got this also but I got the (yellow/blue) lighting feature but it has a green wire that needs to connect with positive to work but how?
Hey, sorry not too sure about that modal as not familiar with it. If it's positive it needs it might be because it's to enable/disable the colour and might require a button? Otherwise might be able to use the positive cable from the mirror base maybe as that has motors ect.
Don't have personal experience with it so cannot say for sure but there are similar kits for the 8P so I imagine it's not much different. Range from £18 (Wish) to £99 in some shop though! I went with the cheapest on amazon for the 8V and seems to do the trick.

i just bought the real carbon mirror assy , bit pricy but they will look the dogs knackers !

Does the end piece next to the mirror that you can see from inside the car also flash so you can see the indicator is on?
Yes it does
This is a must mod that I need to do on my Audi S4 B8.5 :) It looks stunning!
Yeah considering the cost and how easy it is to do it really polish the side mirror look. Wish the front was that easy to make dynamic!

what about changing the rear lights on a pre-facelift 2016 RS3 sportback?
Don't have any personal experience but it seems possible to retrofit them. Lot more money as I think it's basically switching the rear lights block for newer ones.
ye would love to see a detailed install video of that.
Is that turn signal light blink bit wierd or is just a camera? It looks like cuts off sometimes faster and then slower. 9:17 and forward, just look closely.
Yeah it's defo not perfect, the timing does vary a little bit which creates inconsistencies.
Can you please me the name of the orange tool you use to take wing mirror of and where to buy one from

Have you guys got a video of a 2021 Audi?
No sorry we do not.
Brilliant video guys! Will be doing this on my A3 soon keep an eye out for the video on my channel. Thanks 👊
Nice one and subbed :)
Nice! The link to the product you provided, will these also be for my TTRS 2018 8s Daza?
Looks like the same process but slightly different part. This is the one for TTRS amzn.to/39aSL2y
And nice car btw :)
@@Beardchanics Thanx!
Does the little square still light up when sitting inside the car? Wasn’t clear from the video.
Yeah that's works fine too.
Great! 🤩

Nice :D
How are they holding up?
Perfect, no issue with them so far :)
did u make dynamic turn Signal installation?
We installed them ourselves like seen in the video. Parts were just bought.
Super. Которые сняли отдайте мне. 👍👍👍

Helloo, mine is malfunctioning what could be jet
Hard to say, they're simply system so if it doesn't work I would suspect the device is faulty if the previous indicators worked just fine.
Does this works the same for 2017 A3 Quattro mirrors?
Yes, the mirrors and covers are the same for A3 / S3 / RS3, as long as it's 8V it should work.

Helo frinds
It's way to fast
Duration is limited by the car signal so it has power for the same amount of time the stock one had.
