- Kellogg's released a new Donut Shop cereal with two flavors: Chocolate and Pink. There have been numerous donut-themed cereals released over the years and this new version from Kellogg's doesn't try to reinvent anything, though I give them credit for having the first Pink Donut cereal.

Jomaster The Second I'm the opposite, I'm eating Donut Shop chocolate donuts right now. I have never even tried Pink Donuts. I don't eat the pink Donuts because, they have artificial flavoring.

Aldi used to make/sell a blueberry muffin flavored cereal shaped liked Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Used to buy it religiously around 2010ish. Best cereal I’ve ever had

Dinky Donuts was off the chain and the 80's was the greatest time in history for everything music, movies, food, cartoons, television shows etc.

I felt the pink ones taste like pink donut frosting. I liked them. Apparently, so did my mom's cat. He stole a couple of pieces and ate them.
I picked up the Pink Donut flavor a wrrk ago. I was surprised by the flavor, but also really enjoyed it!

It's been best for what cereals have the taste and form of other breakfast foods and desserts, but this one is such a tie for that.
Step aside Doughnut cereals, we need a Maple Bar (maple longjohn if you're not from the northwest) cereal! Imagine little maple bars with that awesome maple flavor. I'm in!

I believe the "Pink" flavor is the same as the Froot Loops Birthday cake flavor we had a few months ago for Canada's 150th birthday.
It’s not exactly the same, but it’s very similar. There’s a slight difference that’s hard to describe.
Cereal Time TV hopefully it comes to Canada, I would like to give it a try.

I'd personally like to see the chocolate sprinkle captain crunch make a comeback, i was too young at the time to shop for myself, and only found out about it recently. We're incorporating donut cereals into our wedding donut bar and it would have been cool to also offer the chocolate version. Having said that, Hostess now carries a cereal with powdered donettes flavor and honey bun flavor.
You pretty much nailed these 2 in the head. I felt the exact same way when I tried it. The pink donuts cereal is way better. The chocolate donut one reminded me of the same recipe of Count Chocula.

Well you DID get Birthday Cake Froot Loops up there and we didn't get them here, so that's a close resemblance to these Pink Donut ones.

I really, REALLY, would have sworn on my life that there was a cereal based on Wonka Donutz, like I have very vague memories of my grandma having the cereal in her house because I liked it, but I can't find anything suggesting it ever existed, and I can't remember ever having experienced actual wonka Donutz to get the memory mixed up with so I have no idea what's going on with that memory...
Haha! Memory is a crazy thing. But nah, there was never a Wonka Donutz cereal. There was a DONUTZ cereal from General Mills. I've talked about that one a few times. Maybe that's what you're mixing up?
Cereal Time TV actually after some looking around at pictures I think what I’m remembering is the Cap’n Crunch Oops Choco Donuts because it looks how I remember and was on shelves around the right time for me to be the age I think I was when my grandma would buy it for me. Also found a commercial I remember that really convinced me that’s what it was. Reeeally don’t know how that memory got so muddled.
I wish they brought Dunkin Donuts cereal and homers cinnamon donut cereal back

Kinda, but the "cakey" flavor has a slightly different taste. I don't really know how to describe it, it's hard. But if you liked the Birthday Cake Froot Loops I'd say you'll like the Pink Donut ones.

Yep, I do have a box of it somewhere. I was just too lazy to dig through my whole collection to find it for this video. I think I show it and talk about it in my Sprinkle Spangles video.

I thought the chocolate version tasted a bit like the chocolate glazed donuts.
My absolute favorite donut from Dunkin Donuts are the strawberry glazed. Wouldn't mind seeing a vanilla version with a strawberry flavored coating.
As a fruity cereal fan I was really hoping for the pink to be strawberry flavored too. Maybe they'll make a fruity donut version if this stuff sells well.

I'm not surprised the spelling of Do(ugh)nut is changing. American spelling often relpaces "ou" with "o". Like in Colour (English) to Color (American).

Sometimes I forget Trader Joe's exists. Until I get a craving for Spiced Chile Mango's or Dark Chocolate Covered Raspberry Jelly Bites.
Spiced Chile Mangos are my jam!! And I like the Dark Chocolate Covered Orange Jelly Bites better, but both are delicious!
Cereal Time TV yeah haven't tried the orange ones but, I might pick some up for the hell of it next time. Also just tried this cereal a couple weeks ago and it's the nastiest cereal I've eaten all year. The taste is just horrible I'd rather eat Krave than this cereal again.

Did you just say if your lactose intollarant your gonna want to skip this one ummm you put milk in cereal im pretty sure anyone whos lactose intollarant *cough cough me* would either not be eating this or have lactase tablets btw lactase tablets save your life they are amazing its the only way i can eat cereal. (The best food in the world)
People eat cereal with soy milk, almond milk and rice milk too. I’m lactose intolerant as well. I usually just take lactaid, deal with the discomfort or using a non-dairy milk. But lots of people who don’t consume dairy still eat cereal which is usually dairy free, so I thought it was necessary to point out for this one.
