I think we’ve seen the last of this type of ‘character’ - Vale is an absolute legend, an ambassador for the sport. MOTOGP is going the way of F1 now - the riders are robots, PR is king and characters aren’t required. I just cannot see anyone coming up through the ranks who inspires so many people. Some try to copy but Vale will always be the best - he’s the whole package. I’m just glad he’s got to retire in one piece and with his health. Best of luck to him - it won’t be the same without him.
This man deserves retirement. I am happy for him and his family. He has nothing to prove and is the best motorcycle racer I have seen. There are many great riders but for me, he will be remembered as the best. Just wish I could thank the man in person.

To me there's no motogp without Rossi. His aura of charisma is unpararreleled. He brought life to the sport like no one else did before or after. To be honest motogp has gotten quite boring already in the last years when he wasn't competitive. But i really can't see him in a managerial position. He's too much of a free bird for that.
