это слишком красиво,чтобы намотать на бобину и забыть о нем.Слишком много труда,материалов,кружев и времени.Эта работа должна быть оформлена в рамку и висеть на стене.
Looks like you embroidered your name at 40.50. I'm very new to this type of sewing and I'm mesmerised by our creation. Now I know why I haven't thrown any bits away for 40 years!!!
Anne you could use a kitchen roll holder, that would be Awesome.💕🏴
I'm making a square piece that will end up 12 inches x 12 inches on a stretched canvas in yellow/gold/orange shades with grays and beige. I have started making Suffolk puffs ( first time I've heard that term, we call them yo yo's) and I've made a couple out of squares of lace, stitched with a circle and gathered. They end up a lovely round puff with little ears sticking up. What fun this is.
I just found you. I love this
Thank you so much for your comment and I appreciate any advice that you have given me and as far as I can see there is no wrong or right way to do slow stitch as you said it's just the joy of stitching and I'm I usually make quilts but this is really cool so may not be his greatest everybody else on these videos but at least I'm giving in a shot thank you again for your advised and sharing your videos have a wonderful day
I am so enjoying this series and I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you so much for doing this I do have a question do you have a source for your large Bobbons? Cheers from 🇨🇦
So Gorgeous Anne, I’m going to make myself one or more next year. I’m interested in knowing how you attach it to the reel please.
I drilled, glued and stitched it xx
So beautiful and so excellent done , I am going to start doing this ounce my house is done hopefully by July, meanwhile I will start gathering materials, my mom went to heaven this February the 9 th and barried her on the 22nd , I think this will help with my anxiety and depression so wish me luck 😔😘🤗👍🏻
so very beautiful!!! I'm almost afraid to get started..because I do believe I could become obsessive with this...just like I am with snippet rolls and junk journaling and card-making....and...OK...anything crafty!! :P lol Thank you for sharing Anne! ☺
Yes here from Roxy Creations, loving it, thinking (long term.. Years) to make & eventually join into curtains or blind 😊
I am enjoying doing this so much. It is addicting!! I am creating smaller lengths with plans to use them as journal closures. I have completed my first one that is about 10 inches long by 2 inches wide in blues, yellow and gold colours. I started a second one in purple, lilac and white for a journal I am creating for my daughter who loves purple.Thank you, thank you for your excellent instructions and inspiration. 💞🇨🇦🤗💕
I found you through Roxycar11. I am so glad she told us about you. I love watching you stitch. Have you shown us how you stitch into the buttons , almost like a blanket stitch into a button. Love your tutorials. Take care and stay healthy. Here from Arkansas
Hi Anne - your work is absolutely breathtaking. I’m new to slow stitching and really love the ideas you share. Can you give any advice on how I could add little shells? I love the idea of incorporating shells and bits of dried seaweed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us x
Such a joy to see your videos pop up in my notifications- thankyou for this enjoyable project!
I bought a bobbin several years ago because I was intrigued by the strips using bobbins made by individuals on Pinterest. I put it to the side, because I couldn't figure out what to do with it. A few weeks ago, I found your tutorial on how to make the strips. I am having so much fun following along and creating my own fabric slow stitch strip. Thank you so much for your excellent teaching and demonstrations.
Thank you Anne for sharing your talents with us. I am enjoying working on my piece...not a strip but a big originally quilted and embroidery piece. Makes quarantine a little bit more enjoyable.
Just brilliant. I’m going to make bigger pieces, to do book covers. Great way to use up all your beautiful fabrics. Thank you. If have your book layered cloth, so now can’t wait to start. Just amazing.
I really like your video and I like that your are a lefty as well, As a child it was more difficult to learn things like knitting that was really difficult for me but I did learn from my grandmother because she took the time for it.
Anne, you are an amazing teacher and I understand why you teach in your “other” life! Following your teaching from the beginning and following your simple steps and instructions, I am amazed with my piece! Art! Thank you!
Love your work. What is the backing you are using.
Oh my gosh! I love this. I'm in heaven. I have so many supplies and now I know what else I can use them for.

Will do thanks xxx
Beautiful work
Great idea
what will you do with finished Pieces Just leave them on the bobbin?
Yes it is hung in my hallway
I'm late to the party! I just discovered your wonderful channel and challenge. I love it so much not as easy as it looks I'm used to glueing everything down but I'm not giving up it's so beautiful and I have so much fabric and a machine but can't sew. Pulling out all the fabrics and cranking on with it. Thanks for sharing I've found a new love. Cathy in USA
Hello, I just subscribed to your channel, this reminds me of large stitch quilting, which I love but now after watching your videos I have lots of stash of things from quilting. What do you use the long strips for after they are filled? I like the soft books video,so I’m going to try it! Tfs!
Thankyou Ann, your work is beautiful 😍. And thanks for going back through things. I know alot of people would appreciate that. Happy stitching and tfs 😚🙏
OMG I just found your site. Those rolls are fabulous . Now I have something else to divert my attention.
Referred by Rachel from Roxy Creations. So excited to see you work. I love embroidery. Not very experienced but learning.
I have just discovered your challenge!! I live in Australia and while I have been in lockdown, I have rediscovered hand stitching. I am excited to get started :D
This is a fabulous update. I have only just found you and it’s June!! Getting my stash together, brilliant project ❤️

really enjoyed your video today. Will be saving and watching again. I just love looking at your work and seeing what you have done. And you teach us how also. thank you. I am making two different rectangle pieces about 5 by 8.5 inches. I will be using them as small journal or notebook covers. At some point I plan to make a strip one like you are doing also. again thank you for all this inspiration.
Excellent video as usual. Thankyou Anne, I am really enjoying this series.
Your work is wonderful. My mom was a perfectionist and her work looked as well on the back as front. I kinda like the look of all the stitches. Thank you
When you start putting your fabric on do you need to turn it under
I dont as I like the edges xx
La idea es crear nuevos textiles ? No entiendo
Es solo para disfrutar de stiching

What is cotton wadding? Is there another name for it?
I wanted to join in this slow sewing project and started with a short strip of blue denim as a base. But want to do more with the right fabrics. So thanks a bunch!!!
