Studio Wit would be perfect for a Berserk series. They do a lot of animes before passing them off to other studios for whatever reason. Not only is the animation stellar but the emotional scenes with the music they select also fits the tone. I think they could do Berserk justice.

When I first watched the ending of the 1997 anime back in 2008, I thought how in the hell did Guts get out of the Eclipse (I knew he did because the first episode is from the Black Swordsman arc)? It takes a true hero to invade the hellhole that is the Eclipse, and Skull Knight is a true hero.
