Can't wait to see this finished. Really hurt my feelings hearing them both say they were not 300zx fans. Just wish I could fly out there and give the Z a hug to show it some love.
Don't worry, Earl is properly loved. It's like the mutt at the pound you look over 3 times, then you see its redeeming qualities, fall in love and he becomes your best friend for the next 8 years.
The original body lines were sexy and this car will be a classic. Can’t wait to see this kit when it’s all done.

Johnny I’m a fan of all original. The original car was sexy. As a matter of fact when Lamborghini got rid of pop up headlights in the diablo they used the headlights out of the 300zx.

Bentley is finally off the lift and replaced with an R8 hmmmm. Oh and nice to see Andrew again, good cameo.

They're actually Nissan headlights that Lamborghini put in their Diablo... Nissan originals though!
Scarlet Street Media That was kind of my point. :) I had a 91 300ZXTT way back when. The headlight thing came up when checking out a Diablo at a track day. The owner was nonplussed. (Not sure why. They look great and work very well.)

Such a transformation already, this build is going to be amazing. I was never much into the Z cars but the stance on this already looks incredible. The wide body kit is perfect

I feel like a flushed bumper with a lip spoiler versus a wing would be a cleaner looking build versus a picnic table on the back of the Z. lol.

Paint job: Paul Newman 300zx! Engine: Nissan VK50VE Nismo makes some great parts for the VK50VE because of LMP3!

I love the 300zx, and I never knew you could widebody it, and this looks sick
You guys do neat videos, wish they were a bit longer though. For the 300z I think it would look so much nicer with an after market bumper that ties into the body kit on both sides with a small defuser on the bottom.
Dudes do this 300zx justice and make her beautiful. Car was before its time. If that car came out today it would get way more love.

Great work! When completely installed, clean and buff the polyurethane then paint the remaining parts of the car a matching satin black.

So at 150mph will the panels look like a flag blowing in the wind ? And adding a rear wing is OK ONLY if you add corresponding front splitter with equal force or your front will lift. not good.

Nice body kit transforms that car for sure ..don't forget to weld up those seams and seam seal them where you cut those quarters ..
Z32 was the heaviest and widest Z made. Adding a urethane widebody kit to the mix makes for 1 thick girl 👌

don't know if it applies to the 300, but old 240Z were much better off shortening the firewall about 4" to move the V8 engine+trans back further, better weight distribution.
with the crazy power available from 4 cylinders now, might be a nice choice for it too.

Water cooled muffler bearings were introduced on this Z. You'll need a special left-handed Stucko wrench to remove it. 🏁👍
