This is a great intro to DFIR, thank you for presenting it. One impediment for newbies seems to be the overwhelming number of specialties within the field. It seems that learning how to pare down extraneous information & how to focus on the areas which interest you the most would make for another good presentation.
That's a great insight, James. We'll take that into account.
I think that applies to professionals as well, in general you can't be an absolute expert in all of those areas therefore you need to know your limitations and when to engage with specialists.
Great video, i watched prolly about 30-40 lectues from you guys at sans
Wow, this is great! God bless this channel!

I checked out your page and I found courses❤ Defo gonna give it a look during the weekend.
this is very useful video for youth@😍
Nice presentation, the image metadata part made me smile because it was essentially at the heart of my Bsides 2021 presentation :-) Always thoroughly enjoyed the SANS courses I've completed (14) especially the forensic ones.
Great video, I have worked with Eclipse Forensics and they are great at what they do!
Thank you very much , you are a really a GOAT and thanks

Could we have access to the presentation slides?
Great, I didnt know half of byte is nibble!!!!
This was a great video. One thing that stood out, just because of my stupid misophonia, is that the tisk/smack sound you made before speaking. It drove me nuts, but that is a personal issue 😏, still great video.
My instructor asked me to be a guest speaker for his class to talk about digital forensics.
I am curious about this career. I am finishing my MSc in Forensic Accounting degree soon and I am interested in cybercrime and/or technology. Thank you for sharing this detailed video. Date Stamp: 04oct22
Any recommended book for studying CF
I remember the BTK killer. I just read about him in my forensics book.
