thanks, got me fired up again after feeling depressed about my future today I can feel a potential passion for Digital Forensics when watching this intro, hope it actually turns out to be solid by the end of this playlist Thank you for the opportunity, sir
@drakelar1957 I'm sorry, due to the particularities of my current situation, I am not the example you need, you should ask someone else And please, remember that everyone's lives are different, and so are the choices they make for themselves, be it emotional or vocational, so don't let my experience influence you in pursuing what you feel is right for you I wish you all the best
I can not stop watching your videos, I have got 93% for all my assignments, thank you for sharing your knowledge, your methodology, making the subject very easy.

I'm glad to know your channel. It's quite difficult to find courses about Digital Forensics. Is this because the Digital forensics job titles are not so high demand (yet) at this moment?
There is a pretty high demand for digital forensic investigators all over the world. I think the problem is that many courses are targeted at people already working for government agencies, or provided in formal college programs. What kind of information are you looking for? How can I help?
@@DFIRScience Thank you for your support. I really have no mentor here to guide where to go in this path. In my country, the cyber security jobs are surplus but those specialized in forensics are super rare. Like you said, this kind of jobs are targeted for specific organization as government so there aren't much chances for practical experience or even research project merely. Are things different in your own country right now?
Sir is this digital forensics is related with forensic science and work with forensic science in same department? Is this highest demanding job ? And what are the subjects we need to study for this field?
Sir you have influenced me a lot .And can you teach the entire hacking technologies . How to script. I mean how to enter the hacking . Tutorials about programming in hacking . I eager to study cybersecurity also . I e also expected your teach all of these kind Of things.......And one more thing You are a legend ...Lots of Respect from india
Sir i have to prepare for an interview ( after a week for digital forensics)... I know about computer networking and cybersecurity but not much about forensics.. what should i do help?
1) Show that you are willing to learn. Digital investigation takes constant research about tech and society. 2) If you don't know something, don't lie/exaggerate. Digital forensics is literally about finding the truth. Better to admit you don't know (and then do research) than to lie. Your networking and cyber security knowledge directly relate to forensics. Instead of stopping an attack, we also investigate the who and why behind the attack. It's not a very big jump in knowledge and skill sets. Just a different goal and slightly different way of thinking. Be confident! You got it!
Sir, i have completed cyber security course in pentesting & webapplication security. Do i need to have an authentic certificate to work as an digital forensic agent ??
"You can refer to CompTIA A+ or Operating System Concepts" "But in this course we assume you don't really know any of that" ... They had us in the first half😅
There are many good digital forensic programs around the world. You can see a good list here: www.forensicfocus.com/education/ There is probably not so much difference in digital forensics *education* since all programs should cover the basic concepts. There is a BIG difference in which country you use the skills you've learned. Different countries have different legal systems, requirements, and understanding of digital evidence. That will likely make more of a difference than education.
Practice with digital forensic Capture the Flag events (CTFs). They are usually free. Try to talk to local businesses and police to see what kind of digital forensic experts they have. If someone has a digital forensics lab locally, ask if you can do an internship. All those will help.
Very poor introduction to Digital Forensics. Cmon dude, you are giving more of the commercial outlook into DF rather then giving a proper intro. What a time waste video for real.
Yup, this course was made in Korea. Pretty much all the examples apply in any country though, including the U.S. Technology is the same everywhere, the technical problems and the investigation techniques are also the same.
Fake news is rarely a complete lie. Often it's based on an initial truth and exaggerated to a false conclusion. The point in the video is that each claim needs to be investigated, just like in a criminal investigation.
Henry Korvus, you misunderstood what he said. He simply meant that if the majority of people thought critically about the information they were both hearing and saying "fake news" couldn't exist, but because most people (including myself) don't, instead we make assumptions and don't stop to question the information we are either speaking or listening to, fake news does exist.
The teacher is Awesome!
He knows how to put the information to student's memory 😊
Thank you very much for sharing this content publicly. And for being such a wonderful communicator. It's highly appreciated. Thanks! :)
Great lecture . Excellent delivery from the instructor. A must watch for cybersecurity team.
The teacher/instructor is great! love the way he explains.. Makes it more simple & interesting. I'm excited to go through all the course. Thank you!

Why does he keep mentioning Korea??? Who cares about Korea, tell us what the U.S is doing..

Fake news is rarely a complete lie. Often it's based on an initial truth and exaggerated to a false conclusion. The point in the video is that each claim needs to be investigated, just like in a criminal investigation.
