I’ve always Thought Herb St., Lake, MI and he was extra fair. I think he has a lot of respect for Michigan don’t forget Michigan broke his leg. I believe it was a his senior year.

Everyone seems to have forgotten jaden davis. He was highly recruited and a good amount of excitement around him. Has he looked that bad at practice, or has the underwood hoopla just caused people to forget about him? Personally, I'm not a fan if having a freshman play QB and was thinking (hoping?) davis was gonna be the guy next year and then him and underwood would compete for the job the following year.

Chase probably is a FCS type backup or Division II starter. But Michigan could not resist the press by offering him a scholarship for another jab at OSU. I would not doubt Chase transferring in the portal eventually once he gets some tutelage from the Michigan offensive staff.
St.Xavier is an elite football school in Ohio's biggest division. He's played against competition comparable to Underwood, probably better IMO. This isn't a kid from a school in Connecticut or Idaho. He's a solid kid. He's not near Underwood, but he's a solid player.
If he sticks his commitment out in 4 years this will pay dividends for him as a player! Sitting behind a number 1 in the nation guy and a few transfers between that time hes going to be a baller in 3-4 years!
Chase played at St. Xavier in the toughest SW Ohio Football league against great teams and competition. They lost in regional final this year to Cincinnati Moeller (a perenial power) which lost the title game. So we will see what developes. Hit the weights and put on some pounds and muscle. He is obviously a practice team addition, but is it a waste of a scholarship? They will have 105 next year. He probably otherwise would have been a preferred walk-on, who are being eliminated. Starting next year all players on the team will be scholarship players there will no longer be non-scholarship players.
