Hey boss big time fan of your work here, it's truly saved my life especially durring these crazy times. So I just got the w2 and realized that when you hold the back button it becomes a home button. Hope this helps. cheers mate.
I actually purchased the W1 primarily for my PC, since it is hooked up to my living room tv. It’s way more convenient than the Bluetooth keyboard I was using prior. Just mentioning this because you said in your video you didn’t know why someone would use this for their PC.
Does the right-click button work properly for you? For me, it doesn't recognize the pointer on the screen so it opens an unwanted menu.
Yeah I've used mi mix for Android on pc and it's good for media on pc

I always try to find vids of your for new tech. My 1st gen firestick remote crapped out out the blue, and the second one was hardly touched and crapped out. I didn't want to waste money, so I'm glad I found this.

I have had the w1 for a week now and I love it. I didn't know about the hold down on the center button for the scrolling feature I will try that thanks. It is easy to learn the buttons for the volume I also had to learn it for the center buttons to use without the air mouse. I agree about the home button I use spotify and if I had to back out every time that would suck lol. I would highly recommend one of these remotes thanks for the awesome review.
*FOR NVIDIA SHIELD TV USERS*
I'd just like to say that the back button on the W2 air mouse actually doubles as a Home/Return home button. I accidentally stumbled across this today. If you long press the back button it takes you home.
This is an ideal remote for Shield TV users. I can't rate it highly enough. You may want to try this with your other android devices as it may be the same. Cheers
Can you turn off the shield to standby mode if the tv does not support HDMI-CEC?
I have the W1 and use it with my Nvidia shield. I absolutely love it!
Sadly no voice control.
Got the w1. When you reviewed it awhile ago and its awesome. Best remote I've got 😃👍
on the W2 to use the HOME key you press the RETURN key for a few seconds and it goes to home.
I have the W1 as having a home button is a must for me. The power & volume buttons don’t work, but as I bought it for the keyboard & air mouse, it does everything I need.
I have the wechip I. I absolutely love it. I used a Bluetooth keyboard with a mouse pad before. This is way better. Especially with the IR learning. I don’t have to switch remotes like I did. Definitely want that home button.
The W2 does have a home button : Fn and left direction = home and it works. However it is absolutely impractical to turn the remote over to do this so I am using Button Mapper too. Another feature missing is that there is no light to indicate the remote is charging or fully charged.

P.S I decided to upgrade my old Leelbox Q3 and treated myself to the Beelink GT Pro, definitely not disappointed.

I just bought the W1 to hook up to my Android TV Box and I really love it and I agree that the home button is an important button to have. This was a breeze t8 ho8k u9 and next I'll be customizing a few button functions from my original remote. Thanks for the video and have a super day.
Can you turn off the android box to standby if the power button is IR mapped to turn off the tv and the tv does not support HDMI CEC?

I’m in love with the air chip 1 I have ordered 2 but still waiting for them to arrive, I do think I would miss the home button as I use that button but I do like the look of both but I do think air chip 1 looks better

Button mapper is a brilliant app m8.A back light would have been a brilliant addition. I've found 7n the last few weeks that q key doesn't work.Have you or anyone one else had this problem.Its a pain trying to search for Queen or Queer as Folk LMAO 🤣🤣🤣

I've actually bought the Pro version of the 2 & that does come with a dedicated home button so for a couple of quid (literally) extra you'll get that or for the tight arsed amongst us you can of course just long press the back button to get to home & use that saving to get, oh I dunno 2 mars bars or whatever takes your fancy in the pound shop 😉👍
I followed all of yard tips on the U green USB hub the scan desk the exact one that you stated you had in the wheelchair number to a remote control and I can’t get that thing to work or the Internet to work ethernet wise. I would like some help please

The W2 is the better hands down. You just need to LONG PRESS THE BACK BUTTON TO GO HOME!
You get a better device with VOICE CONTROL and more functionality on the keyboard and simply needed to read the features to find out about the long press HOME option... Please update this video with at least a text overlay about this so people don't waste money on the W1 anymore.
some peopel including myself would rather get W1 without someone hearing everything we say with the voice control, I would get w2 if it did NOT have voice control, but like he said its all personal preference, some are ok with devices hearing everything
I have a projector connected to computer running kodi. Would i be able to turn the tv on using ir, and control the pc (wich is always on) using the usb dongle at the same time.
I have the W1 and I had so many issues with the remote not responding and the light staying on (or flashing) so I use a Fire TV remote with my Nvidia Shield TV (I don’t like the Nvidia remote as it uses coin batteries) - unless I had a dodgy W1

If you look at the W2 PRO they did include a home button on that version

Hi Adam. Just purchased the WeChip 1. Working great but when I search for a movie on cyberflix, once I've finished entering the title and press enter, it doesn't work and I have to use the air mouse to search for the content.
Any tips?

I previously ordered WeChip & WeChip W2, but they didn't have too many options for IR buttons..I found the Auvipal G9 which I use to control my Fire tv, TV and Samsung sound bar.

Yeah I have the W1, it's great but sometimes it turns off the box when I'm clicking on enter. I have learned the W1 remote to the TV box but it's a bit odd to say the least.
I don't know what it is but I received the W1 two days ago and the air mouse just doesn't work as it should. The respons or allignement is constantly off. Very anoying. Also the on/off button only works to turn my android box off, doesn't turn it on..weird.. Maybe you got a tip for me.

If there's ever a W3 hopefully they include all features from W1, W2, and add more features.
I could not set either of these up with my Fire TV Cube. The "add bluetooth device" would not see it after dongle was installed.
Have you tride to long press the return button that can take you to home?

I use the W1. I think its the best I've ever had. The sound works perfect. I always turn the TV remote up too loud, then tune it lower using the W1. Letscrackon
i have the WeChip W1 i use it with my android box which is one that you recommended and as you say the power button doesn't work but the volume does work

Hi, is there an app for an android phone to control an android box to allow me to use my phone as a mouse and keyboard??
I also forgot to mention. Both have IR learning capabilities which I have done a video on this using the WeChip W1 remote. 1 more thing when using these remotes with Chinese Android Boxes sometimes the back button doesn't seem to work. Making the Home Button essential.

Personally I use wechip G20 remote, has everything you showed except keyboard, I remapped menu button to open settings on my nVidia Shield TV 😜
Are they Bluetooth remote controls ?
@@elmundodestreaming9952 no, has dongle, but I use a small 4 port USB hub in one of my shield ports for mouse/keyboard/G20 plus anything else, other USB port is for my hard drive docking station (2 drives)

@@elmundodestreaming9952 your welcome, but be very careful, as a lot of remotes say bluetooth, but it still has a Bluetooth dongle, so defeats point of being really Bluetooth remote 👍🏻👍🏻

I just bought the Wechat W1 remote and i'm about tor return it cause it doesn't work correctly in apps like silk browser its impossible to use and click on the address bar and type away also other apps the center button doesn't work like the original remote.
i have the W2 it works great.
Why do most Android TV builds / launchers refuse to add home, back, restart and shutdown button commands on the gui? Would solve a lot of headaches. I know you can 3rd party apps but not all work, root issues etc.

The Power button works the W1 has IR Learning u can program the main power button to turn on and turn off ur android tv box

Very good point. A back lit Keyboard would cover all bases.
Ditto. W1 for my fire stick 4k. AND, a backlight would be MUCH better.
