Do you know if this remote power button works with the mi box??
No all power buttons have to be learned, but you must have the stock remote on hand and working to learn its power button function.

Excellent review I have just received my remote from Amazon and am pleased to announce that I was able to test it on two devices....
1. The mi box s power button was able to turn off the system ( but you have to use the home button to turn it on) the mouse, voice and backlight works perfectly....
2. The Nvidia shield power button works great right along with mouse, voice and backlight buttons

@@tvboxstop tks, very confusing that I found on our Vietnamese lazada more versions such as L8 Star and another one which looks identically the same but called only Blacklit air mouse.
Yes it's very confusing because lots of Chinese developers rebrand the same remotes, and sometimes the models differ slightly and you can miss that.

Hi I have a android car box which has Bluetooth built in can I still use this remote. The mmb box dosent have a USB port
I know what you are referring to I have one to install in my car also I just haven't done it yet. Most likely if the stereo does not have a USB port the firmware will not allow for USB controllers they are wire or wireless to be used. The Bluetooth function will operate like in some modern projectors it will only allow connecting of Bluetooth speakers and receivers to transmit audio or share files. If they wanted to allow most navigation they would have included a USB port.
There is only one dongle right? So is it fair to assume it cannot connect to the TV and computer together? Thanks for info

I have this remote, I think it would be the best one for the Windows 11 Mini PC I use in my home cinema BUT it often doubles or triples the letters I type. Do you have the same issue? How did you solve this? thanks
I wish I could help but this video was done two years ago and I no longer have the remote. There is nothing you can do to solve the issue as the remote does not have software built in that you can update, so what you will find is that it will work great on Android devices and it may have issues on Windows.
Sorry my English ... But I have a question. The 'home' and 'back' commands are on the same button. How to use them according to the need? Sometimes I just have to go back and sometimes I have to go straight home. How to make?
So I just tested it. By default it's back button, and hold for 3 sec for home function. However depending on what you are navigating I realize that it returns to home when pressed. It depends on the box.

For the ir programming I keep holding ir for 3 seconds but than it just stays green no flashing , I hope I can get this programmed
No sure why it's doing that for you. Try resetting by pressing the IR + Del button for 3 seconds to clear all cammands and try again.
some of the qwerty keys in my unit aren't responding well, like the letters that I click on the keys and the ones showing on the tv is not the same 70% of the qwerty keys. is there a way to fix it?

Yes you can but not all functions will work, some will have to be learned
Hi, in my car android box it pairs but only for a few seconds. Then stops working. Any ideas? I am referring to the ble 5.0 version
Is this a new occurrence or has it worked well before? Try pairing the remote to your mobile phone and see if it has the same problem
@@tvboxstop Thanks, it is a new remote , it works fine with my android phone , i tested it , the problem is with my car android 10 box. It works fine for some seconds then disconnects. I tried resetting the remote several times , but the behavior is always the same. I also resetted the android box as far as the blue tooth settings are concerned but nothing changed.
How long does the battery last?
Depending on your usage it could last weeks, or days if you are clicking non-stop.

No sé qué decirte porque no conozco este tema. Cuando presiona OK, el puntero del mouse selecciona otra cosa. la única vez que experimenté algo similar a eso es cuando una TV Box no se puede ajustar correctamente al tamaño de la pantalla de un televisor, lo que provoca que la imagen se pliegue y, por lo tanto, haga clic en una selección incorrecta. Pruebe el control remoto en una PC o en otra caja de TV o algo para confirmar.

It has a front back button but it is for Android not for Windows folder navigation you will have to use the air-mouse function

1. Baixe a ferramenta de gravação USB
2. Baixe o firmware de estoque
3. Instale a ferramenta de gravação USB no PC
4. Compre um cabo USB (macho para macho). “Tamanho grande em ambas as extremidades”

9. Conecte uma extremidade do cabo USB ao OTG na placa de circuito
10. Conecte a outra extremidade à porta USB do PC
11. aperte e segure o botão de reset na placa de circuito
12 Enquanto pressiona o botão de reinicialização e com o adaptador de plugue conectado por cabo USB
13. Mantenha essa posição até ouvir o som de “pingue-pongue” que o PC faz quando você conecta um dispositivo USB.
14. Depois de ouvir esse som, solte o botão de reinicialização.
15. Na ferramenta de gravação USB no canto superior esquerdo, clique na segunda escrita em chinês e selecione Inglês, e tudo mudará para o inglês.
16. Clique no arquivo e selecione Importar Imagem.
17. Navegue até onde você descompactou o firmware com a extensão .img (NÃO .zip ou .rar), você deve descompactar o firmware.
18. Selecione o firmware e espere que a caixa de verificação do firmware desapareça e, na parte inferior, mostre a localização do arquivo do firmware.
19. Na caixa amarela acima, você deve ver que diz STATUS conectado. Caso contrário, significa que a caixa não está conectada e você deve conectá-la novamente a partir do passo 9 acima.
20. Depois que o firmware estiver carregado corretamente e a caixa conectada, marque a caixa de seleção Reiniciar após sucesso e a caixa de seleção de chave de substituição.
21. Clique no botão Iniciar, você deve ouvir alguns sons de “pingue-pongue” assim que começar.
22. Aguarde até que o processo chegue a 100% concluído.
23. Depois de concluído, clique em parar e remova o cabo USB.

Once the car stereo has a USB port plug in the dongle and google assistant will work, providing the Android OS has Google assistant. Most Android car stereos don't run Android TV OS so Google assistant may not be available there.

Аэромышь (пульт) проигрывает мини-клавиатуре, которая почти в 3 раза её дешевле! Во-первых, мышь (пульт) подходит НЕ КО ВСЕМ TV-БОКСАМ! Во-вторых, в отличии от дешевой мини-клавиатуры, мышь (пульт) разборчив по отношению к USB-портам! В одних портах он напрочь отказывается работать, а в других он работает до момента выключения аппаратуры. После включения аппаратура не видит приемник пульта, его необходимо вытащить из порта и вставить по новой. В-третьих, ПОДСВЕТКА мыши (пульта), в отличии от той же мини-клавиатуры, крайне БЛЕКЛАЯ. Её почти не заметно, особенно на клавиатуре пульта, где буквы крайне мелкие и все одного цвета, что кирилица, что латиница. В-четвертых, если вы пользуетесь клавиатурой пульта лёжа на спине, будьте готовы к тому, что "умная" подсветка при определённом угле наклона пульта переключится на другую сторону. В-пятых, УПРАВЛЯТЬ с помощью гироскопической мыши КУРСОРОМ-стрелкой НА ЭКРАНЕ крайне НЕ УДОБНО, в связи с особеностями работы гироскопа. В-шестых, у вас не получится заменить одним пультом все. ПРОГРАММИРУЕМЫХ кнопок на пульте всего пять, их НЕ ХВАТАЕТ для всех необходимых манипуляций.
Итак, в конце концов, после всех этих указаний я рекомендую вам не покупать Air-mouse, потому что это «ваши» предпочтения. И я уважаю это. Однако это мнение не всех остальных. И хотя вы сделали несколько замечательных замечаний в пользу мини-клавиатур, беспроводная мышь Air-mouse по-прежнему является моим предпочтением для навигации по моей телевизионной приставке, если только они не реализуют функцию гироскопа мыши в мини-клавиатурах.
