I'd like to change my preferred cadence and upshift with no battery power left. I don't want to spin in "First gear" as my battery charge goes down. Any suggestions?

Happy to see the 2022 como design dna showing thru from the 2008 expedition which I happily ride now. Great bike design pls see below for suggestions
1 a big ass front basket to carry my pet
2 a 2 point kickstand to stabilize the bike with pet in big ass front basket
3 your marketing assumes a smartphone in hand, what if you do not have a smartphone?
4 a no flat tire option
5 from experience with other ebikes, the battery indication is not linear, ran out of juice when i thought i could make it home, soooo how about a reserve activation switch which will provide X mile/km extra when activated.
6 bms backup, if one bms craps out there is a backup which automatically activates
7 a simple cafe lock, turn a key and lock the bike steering as well
ps what is the battery chemistry, is the battery removable, forget the battery stuff when will this be available in Japan?

I have a 2019 Turbo Como 5 and if there’s one thing I’d change it would be the the chain drive. Is this bike actually available or not? The belt drive is not on the website, so what’s up?

Yes, the belt drive is awesome. No noise, never falls off.

Hi! Specialized.com has a retailer locator(top right) that will help you find your local Specialized Retailer. Thanks for your question!

The charger connector is frustrating. It’s deeply recessed and not self-aligning. It takes a couple of frustrating minutes to accidentally find the correct orientation to mate the plug with the receptacle. Otherwise…love the bike.

Yes it's a shame the design does not self align and the wire is so heavy to make twisting it a chore.

I hate handlebars. Says it will fit 5’ rider but not comfortably. Wish they had option of handlebars that were 3” farther back.
    Or even 2”.

What is the difference between the Como and Vado?

    • @srobeck77
      @srobeck77 9 місяців тому

Como is built for comfort by with an upright frame. Vado less comfy, more leaned forward aggressive riding for offroading.

I just purchased a Vado 5.0. The bike is really great but is really let down by the computer providing inaccurate range estimates. The range estimate is wildly inaccurate and does not show the distance to empty correctly. Very disappointing for a $5000 ebike.

The percentage of rider effort changes constantly on the display and you are not a predictable factor, as well as terrain and wind direction will all impact battery power vs rider input. So the "distance left" could change by 50% depending on how much effort the rider adds.

Super mal filmé ! On voit rien. Tout est dans l’obscurité. Et j’aime pas la forme du guidon.
