I love Swarby's speaking voice, it's like his singing voice, great! This version is bit less manic than the Glastonbury '71 version, worth a look if you're a fan- all great though. I like all eras, but is it wrong to prefer the later line-ups to the ones with Sandy and R. Thompson?!
@@qdaveq6597 Thanks for the reply, I didn't get notified for the first one! That's interesting, yes the '71 film perhaps needs remastering. I'm surprised it wasn't on the 50th anniversary.
Amazing musicians.
Great-I had no idea that Dan Ar Bras had ever been in Fairport.
Dan's a Breton, also known as Daniel le Bras. He played (without recording) with the band for about six months in 1976.
Awesome bass playing. Peggy making it look easy as usual!
Truly amazing musicians.
Spectacular version with Dan ar Bras
Love the Bass.
Peggy still had hair then ... met Peggy in Helsinki few years ago... great chap!
Awesome!
RIP Swarb
A musical genius and a lovely guy too...! R.I.P x
It doesn't start 'til 1:07!
Swarb playing at warp speed here! 😎
interesting line up. It's a shame they didn't have more opportunities to get together and maybe give us their material.
Of Swarbie...I danced....xo

Glas '71 is likely sped up slightly as it's in A#.
I wonder if you ever read this.

@@IThinkYouLookLarvely That's great! They certainly play it at a more sedate pace nowadays!
It's Safe T' Dance!
