    This helped me prepare for the Sept 2021 CFE. Thanks for sharing!

    Do we need to provide 4/5 strength and weaknesses per strategic issue?

    When you suggest to memorize the capstone 1's vision, mission, values and other important things, why should we memorize it? Won't they give capstone 1 case with the day 1 case during the exam? Or we are to memorize the one which we have changed as a response in Capstone 1 case submisison during capstone 1. Thank you!

      Because of time. You won't have time to open your Cap 1 case to look up that information. Most writers don't even bother opening their Cap 1 case, they are just typing their answer as soon as the exam starts.

    Hey Gevorg, do you recommend memorizing pros and cons for each alternative? Thanks!

      Hey TJ, no I don't suggest it. On the exam, the strategic and operational issues will be different, so memorizing the Pros/Cons of Cap 1 or Cap 2 versions won't be much help. You should memorize only the SA factors. I do recommend debriefing all pros/cons so that you understand how to effectively write them (ie, case fact + explanation + implication + integration).

    Hello, when you say only include factors that we will later integrate, does that mean we can't list factors unless we actually use them? How will we know if they are relevant or not before reading the full case? Because aren't we suppose to write them down as we read?

      Good question, yes shouldn't list factors unless you will use them. Instead, I suggest writing some key ones from Cap 1 that you will for sure integrate (mission, vision, values, some key KSFs, SWOT), then fill the rest with case facts as you go through the case. We don't know if they are relevant until we've found the strategic and operational issues, for this reason, it's okay to list some factors that you won't end up using, but the key message is to avoid spending your time writing all Cap 1 factors at the start of the case, focus on the key ones.

    Hi I am taking Sep. CFE and struggling with Quant. Especially for Day 1 WDI. I failed all practice cases mostly due to weak Quant. Do you have any tips or materials I can purchase focusing on WDI Quant? That I can use for the rest of two weeks to improve?

    • @GevorgCPA

      I suggest getting my WDI mock exam case, it will give you new quants to practice with and my solutions are easier to understand than Cap 2's. gevorgcpa.com/cfe-cases/

    Do we need to put implication for SWOT or just the list of case facts?

    • @GevorgCPA
      @GevorgCPA  4 роки тому +4

      In the Situ. Analysis, just list the case facts for SWOT. Prior to 2018, you had to be detailed, but the expectations were changed in 2019 because many candidates were spending too much time on Situational Analysis.

    Awesome tips, I like how you recommend filtering all of capstone 1 information overload into the points which will be easy to integrate. Thanks for the video!
