I remember awhile back seeing a video of the Taylor Swift girl explaining that the reason she decided to start singing was because her mom was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer and was given around a year to live or something. Because of that her mom decided that she needed to live her life to the fullest (she ended up exceeding expectations and lived another like 7 years after that). After her mom passed she decided to start singing, even though she used to be afraid of performing, so she could honor her mother and the attitude she adopted in the last years of her life. I just remember the story really sticking out to me as something really sweet and now i feel bad every time i see a video of her preforming because it really isn't that good 😭but her heart is in the right place so that's all that matters I guess

As a trained singer, my biggest problem with singing (and this is in pop and musical theatre) is how it’s all about whoever can sing the loudest and belt the highest, when all of that is super unhealthy and bad for your voice, as “good” as it may sound Edit: y'all can calm tf down lmao. when i say that belting is unhealthy, i'm saying that it's *usually* unhealthy, especially because when people are trying to belt as high as they can, which usually indicates vocal strain. The same thing goes with singing loudly, as opera singers are trained to fill an opera hall without mics or anything, and that's totally healthy because they've been trained to do it safely. There are healthy singers, and there are unhealthy singers, and I've seen a crazy trend of unhealthy singing lately and I needed to vent about it.Take some deep breaths frrr

I'm friends with Seraphina (the Taylor Swift impersonator). I run tech for the open mic she first performed at. The sound is terrible in the video because it is recorded on an iPhone at an open mic, which is in a room with not particularly great sound (it's literally a gigantic staircase). She wasn't trying to get famous off it at all, she literally just wanted to have an opportunity to sing songs she liked in front of people and get better at performing. Every person who goes to open mics, including myself, has bombed at some point real bad. She just got unlucky enough for it to go viral. She's actually kinda become a local celebrity at our school. Every time I'm setting up tech, there's always a group of people coming up to talk to her like she's some celebrity. Her singing has gotten a lot better too. It's a very strange position for her to be in. Like, she didn't choose to be a celebrity impersonator, and she doesn't know anyone else who is doing anything like what she has ended up doing. I'd say she's made the most of it that she possibly could given the circumstances. Also interacting with her personally, her confidence is wild and it shows when she's performing.

she was kinda bad bro
Everyone misses notes, it's part of live music.
I think it's funny, I still respect tf outta anyone who willingly sings in front of people with that much confidence.
cooper’s videos are as exciting as frozen crunchy grapes
i had a tv show playing in the back when i started this video and it played a violin sound that sounded exactly like the one at the beginning of this video and it sounded like the show bled into the video and your reaction freaked me out. Thank you for convincing me I am living in a simulation. 01101000 01100101 01101100 01110000 00100000 01101101 01100101
nah i just can't believe he's rapping In The Heights in a NICE SUBURBAN NEIGHBORHOOD like bro stop talking about housing struggle and living in a busy city
16:00 I actually think I know this guy… never did I expect to see this randomly on YT… and let’s just say I hope he never asks me his opinion on his music…
I love lionwithamic. Legitimately what a sick vibe. Imagine if he starts freestyling at the cocktail party.
Bro violated them anyway 😭
PLEASE MAKE A PART 2 THIS IS SO FUNNY
10:57 why does he move like his head is edited onto his body, it's scaring me 😭
this video is one of the funniest videos ive seen in a while, and this is my first video ive ever seen from you. youve just earned a subsciber (me). keep it up
2:40 I get what you’re saying but it’s not across the board a bad thing, Eminem does it a LOT, he will drag a word or only say the second half of the word in a different way to rhyme it with the next
Isn't that what all rap artists have been doing since the 90s?!
Pretty sure that is just a normal thing they do, that kind of weird play.
@@jaymeVos I don’t think I explained it correctly, if you look up videos, you can see other rappers talk about his flow, it’s very unique, I’ve never heard anyone else do it, listen to No Apologies, the way he says the words is very unique to him
Holy shit we used to dm on tiktok, so glad youtube recommended me this
i was binge watching your channel earlier and i didn’t notice i was really early to this video until it was on my recommended and it said 5 hours ago 😭
also, In The Heights is a musical from the same guy who wrote hamilton 😭 it’s one of my personal favorites lol
lmfao i love in the heights that was painful
him walking through a regular neighborhood while singing a musical that takes place in the Bronx is so fucking funny
11:42 that’s not espresso that’s PAINT THE TOWN RED!!!!
yea he literally corrects himself with the onscreen note, you must’ve missed that
@@cronchynoodles3168oh
Thanks for letting me know
Bro your page is just completely different from mine, the only artists I’ve been getting are post-wave industrial/noise rappers with ear shattering 808’s and the influence that Brakence has on the youth of bedroom pop
You and Jamie French doing a service talking about this
7:26 there's no way this is actually real wtf
Telling them they suck: ❌
Telling them they suck and helping them improve at something they are passionate about: ✅
