Nuuuuuuclearrrrrrrrrrrr Fusioooooooonnnnnnnnnyoyoyooin
Joey is such a goofster
I just spit all of the beer out. Well done friend.
Good point, well made.
Joey reminds me of Brandon Dicamillo lol am I the only one? He kind of looks like him and even sounds like him
yes u got it with the yoyoyooin
I like howJoey is purposefully the thumbnail so the performance can be easily identified as "NUUUUCLEEEARRR FUUUUSIOOOOOOOYOYOYOYOYON-AH"
NUUUUUUUCLEAAAAARRRRRRRR FUUUUUUSIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYOOYOYIYYOIYITOTITOYOTIYOYON AAAHHHHHHH
Alternating hi-hats are the best
Yeah, that was subtle but sweet.
My first thought on hearing/hearing of double drum setups a la later King Crimson/ProjeKcts was, "What's the point of that?" Ah, how wrong a thought that was. These guys use it to great effect.
amazing
Sounds great through headphones, too! I love the left-right mixing
Audio engineer: Kevin Suggs = best mixing ❤
Good audio engineers are underrated, they deserve respect
My God the microtonal notes on the bass holy fuckkkkk
Alex Desmall so fucking dope
That’s the most brilliant part of the song!
The microtonal drums tho
All instruments incl. the drums and keys are tuned to micro tones!
I'm quite confident I've heard every version of this song on the internet and on CD. Thus, I can say quite confidently that this is the best version of this song.
Saw them live last night. It was better. The throat singing intro sounded like the album but went for even longer. They are amazing.
@@colefisher6751 Well, yeah, live-in-person is going to generally be way better than any recording. If you only include the versions that have been recorded and posted online, I have to agree that this is the best version.
Totally.
Every song they play on kexp seems to be the best version of that song
it all because of "nuclear fusioyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyon"
Their two drummers are so tight, I forget that there's a second one.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news
it's almost as he's not even in the band lately!!
mongolian throat sung "nuclear fusiooonnnnnnoggoggnnggaggnyaaa" is a nice touch
is that actual throat singing? sounded more like a growl
@@lucanavarrete7234 Sounds like it's legit on the record, just requires quite a lot of vocal warm up and I think he fudged it a bit here.
This music is Turk style. Mongols learned from us.
@@turksisking654 well I think Pacal the great learned making hummus from Turks
Who the fock is da dude Pacal?
Stu predicted major scientific break through, what a guy.
good prediction john lennon
wife beater
It's about time bands got back on LSD, nice one boys
I assume Tame Impala is the leader of this new wave of LSD bands?
Psychedelic Pain No, Tame Impala is indie garbage and King Gizzard is good.
They are both good.
Tame Impala has a masterpiece with Let It Happen though, check the Deezer Session on YT
AHERM STA wtf are you on
Tame Impala wins the LSD battle of course, both are good...
This is the most Turkish piece I've ever listened and I'm from Turkey! Big love and respect my Australian friends! 🙌
I'm just here, lamenting Eric's departure... This song will never be the same without him, and it's one of their best.
I was supposed to see them this summer, but then shit hit the fan, and the concert was postponed. Makes me so sad knowing I should have seen them with Eric as well.
I'm going to miss you man.
Saaaaaaame ;(
Man WHOS GONNA PLAY THOSE ALTERNATING HIGH HATSSS
@@Luigeh His replacement drummer?
@@skystudios2474 i wish the best for whomever becomes the replacement drummer because its gonna be hard
which one is Eric
I'm beginning to think micro-tonal is what's been missing from my life.
The soundtrack for the day.
Glad he got some eyups in there
cant wait for the breakthrough discovery of the rattlesnake
probably the greatest band ever that came together to jam the plane we all call erf....
one of them
erf?
shlominger I am pretty sure you're the only person who calls it erf
Agreed
Man this is the first time in a long time a comment has made me actually laugh out loud
What Black Sabbath must've sound like if they had too much Turkey
They probably had plenty of cold turkey though
The alternating of the drummers on the hi hats are fucking awesome
That intro, that bass and its fuzz and tone by itself, and then every one comes back in. It just fucks.
My son suggested me to hear this awesome band! Thanks Clemente!
Your sons cool as hell
Youre welcome, dad
he did the "thanks, thats the end" like in the first performance omg
It's the cherry on top, hey whatup dude from 3 years ago
@@ChesterStone what up dude from 2 years ago
This sound like 70's Turkish Anatolian Rock/Funk/İndie music bands :)) Like Mogollar, Selda, Ersen and Dadaslar, Erkin Koray, Cem Karaca, Barıs Manco and others ;)
evet
Thank you for recommending these bands.
Learned to know Cem caraca by a friend of mine watching over the bridge by Alexander Hacke. Thanx for the other names!
Thank God Zappa and the Mothers prepared me for moments like this. The batton has been handed off and is going the distance. You could hear Frank from the first 2 words ending.
Look into the sky and see the pattern
Reflecting in your eye from a distance
Mirroring the stars are the atoms
Mixing up like a cocktail
The devil's inside all the detail
The tittle runs wild under veil
Coming together in the pattern
Fit tightly like a dovetail
Nuclear fusion
All the bonds that be couldn't break us
Exponentially in fine feather
We're essentially one being
All the bonds that be couldn't tear us
From eventually fusing tightly
We're essentially one being
Nuclear fusion
Ocean like a moat fortification
Separating me from restoration
My spirit leaves my body in frustration
Flying through the world in radiation
The devil's inside all the detail
The tittle runs wild under veil
Coming together in the pattern
Fit tightly like a dovetail
Nuclear fusion
All the bonds that be couldn't break us
Exponentially in fine feather
We're essentially one being
All the bonds that be couldn't tear us
From eventually fusing tightly
We're essentially one being
Nuclear fusion
All that I ever see is nuclear fusion
All that I ever hear is nuclear fusion
(Nuclear fusion)
up this up upp
A few lines here are definitely slightly different. . But it's close
Isn’t it the devil runs wild under Veil?
That Joey's smile got me
The alternating hi hat taps is nuts.😮
the live tracks from this kexp performance are aboslute gold. they really nailed it. the folks at kexp and king giz. everyone nailed this.
sound better here live than the album..awesome band
Joey's Nuclear Fusion is awesome in this recording!!!
Stu Mackenzie, John Dwyer, Ty Segall. The harbingers of rock music.
Who's the fourth horseman?
@@Lobster_Lars I would say Josh Homme if he were more prolific nowadays
1:35 yasss that hi hat is 👌
love how those drummers play with each other...I mean...
it's so sad that this song will never be played the same without two drummers ;(
Ağzıyla elektro saz sesi yapan anadolu ezgilerini kullanan adam gibi adam

These guys release so much new music in a year yet all amazing good...
Drugs are good... mmmmkay.
These and Khruangbin top the world right now
HELL YEAh DUDE!!
that bass is so fat
thicc
It really is. I want to know his amp and strings. 'Cause that tone from a short-scale Mustang bass is quite neat.
PHAT
@@bismuthcrystal9658 sorry for the superdooper late reply, but lucas uses flatwound strings on Fender mustangs or music masters
What bass
Oh finally you'll come Turkey. I'm very excited!!! We're about ten people and plan to wear Turkey t-shirt. We love you so much.

The sound of the drum break when they both hit the snare is awesome
I just love how Stu looks in the song 🤣🤣 and the occasional “yeah!” In the background
Joey's fucking cheeky smile in the beginning is hilarious.
Honestly better than the recorded version.
That's the kexp experience
cant stop noticing how lead puts his lip on the microphone and focuses on keeping it right on top like leening on the electricity that made them make this masterpiece xD

Man, why did I discover them so late?
It's not too late
Never too late, I only discovered these a few months ago as it popped up on UA-cam, checked out some albums and a few weeks later i was watching them live and it really was one of the besy nights of my life, these guys are special enjoy
I feel you. Only listened to them since last week, but considering they debuted in 2012, released 5 albums in 2017, and 2 albums in 2019, it's never too late to join the hype
Before I did
UA-cam proposed me them while I was listening to one of All Them Witches KEXP lives.
I love those microtonal drums, you can really hear the difference!
But does it have a wallet on the snare?
It is absolutely like eating a fat music sandwich when he utters “Nuclear fusion” in the intro. The live version is extraordinary, because of this. Great song.
I love the way you enter the song...that's amazing.
this song reminds me Turkish psychodelic rock songs
which one dude? :D
Owen McKenzie turkey has acid rock? Lol
@@jakefisher1070 Barış Manço, Erkin Koray and Derdiyoklar İkilisi are probably one of the bests in Türk Psych

not tired of listening 100 times
This band's talents know no bounds.
When Turkish music meets LSD
exactly!
A lot of Middle Eastern music uses the same microtones. Hence the similarities in sound.
Anatolian rock*
They met 40 years ago.even there was a band called "LSD Orchestra"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is my favorite band that sometimes sounds like early Pink Floyd and sometimes early Kreator.
100x better then the studio version.
I would pay so much money for a version of their albums without the compression. This is all I got for now :)
I’ve listened to this like 10 times since hearing it. What a band! So fresh

Dude UA-cam glitched out or something cause I saw this comment under a video about the mythbusters lol. It was a VERY freaky thing to see the lyrics to nuclear fusion on a video explaining why Adam and Jamie won't work together anymore.
Okay now post the lyrics the way Stu sang it in this vid lol
At this moment for me Gizz is the best band in the world!!
And that´s is saying something
Thank you for introducing me to such an amazing band, KEXP you rock!
This version rocks.cant stop listening to it
This bass ♥
One of the Best Bands i heard last 30 Years!!:)
watching them drum in sync is so mesmerizing. love this video sooooooo much

This is King Gizzard. Thank you KEXP
I freaking love these guys. They're a tight band & they have a great time playing. That's what it's about!
It feels so good to find a band which gives me the same creative buzz as the likes of Yes and King Crimson but the members aren't fucking 80 years old
Nucleaaaaarrrr fussiionnnnnnnyoyoyoyoyoayyayayaya
: _this_ smile when you stupidly goof around but know your friends so well that you're sure they can't keep a straight face.

It’s wild how much of a glow up Joey has had over the years 😂
Jethro Tull influences there. Love it

Sorry guys, i ve found you too late, so i am listening to you 7/24 to catch up :) (:
My life has two folds -- before and after I watched this video.
The fact that this song sounds better live than the studio version just makes it better 🔥
Can't stop listening to this song. It's so fucking catchy
How does this not have 2 gazillion views?
This is so good I just want to absorb all of it.
Unique sound , great tunes and very nice carpets :)))
