@@mariopalos9238 it's even more amazing that you're able to covertly disparage someone by thinking they're fawning over someone based on one UA-cam comment.
Jerry dated so many women in the show that were way out of his league: Julia Campbell, Kristen Davis, Courteney Cox, Amanda Peet, and Debra Messing just to name a few. So who's to say who was really the hottest? You could argue for so many of them...including Christine Taylor I suppose.
Holy crap, you just blew my mind. I have seen her in so many things but I completely blanked on “hey dude” which was one of my favorite shoes as a kid.
No mentions so far of Ms. Taylor's huge role in that old Nickelodeon show "Hey Dude". In our house we spent hundreds of hours watching that show, and enjoying her work as Melody. She played basically the same super-nice gal she played in this Seinfeld episode. She's great in both, AND as the edgier Marcia Brady.
I have watched several shows with interviews of guests on the Seinfeld show and they all say the same thing, that the cast treated them just like they were part of the regular crew. I think that speaks very highly of the regulars on Seinfeld that they were so accepting of guests
This episode was terribly written. I get what they were going for, but if there's no payoff as to WHY she's a "loser" then it doesn't make any sense and becomes stupid. Of course, they can't say why she's a loser because that would be too insulting to any women who had that "loser trait", whatever it may be.
Her saying the cast treated guest actors as part of the family is the exact opposite I heard from one of the guest actors, during a Meet & Greet at a local sci-fi convention here in Colorado. I don't want to name this actor on the off chance someone in Hollyweird reads this and then have it cause problems for him but needless to say, he was situated between two of the main cast members in between takes and was ignored and talked past as if he wasn't even there.
She should remember the names of the actors that played Jerrys parents, especially if those were most of her clips ... not gonna leave without mentioning the obvious tho, she aged WELLLL
This episode fascinates me on such a personal, deep level. It's the 1 episode I would ask Jerry Seinfeld about if I ever had the chance. Because I am the male, real life version, of Ellen. On paper, I am an outstanding catch of a bachelor. And literally every woman I go out with, all I hear is "oh my gosh, yours the most amazing man I've ever met, I've never met anyone like you before, and you're so attractive on top of it, why don't you already have a girlfriend??" ....and then 1 to 3 dates later, they ghost me. Every. Single. Time. And I constantly search myself to find out if there's anything I did wrong, because it certainly isn't anything as awful or obvious as they typical lying cheating abusive etc. Literally all that happens is "the magic goes away". And I cannot decide if it is more confusing & baffling, or more hurtful.
@@cityhawk It's not as weird as what Ellen did. It was just the timing of when we met and when we set up the date. Her birthday fell on a Saturday and she had a show to perform that day as well. I knew about her birthday long before the date.
I've always liked Christine back from when she was in HEY DUDE. And she's from Allentown Pennsylvania, which is right next to Easton where my father is from 😍😍
It was STUPID.. cause I loved her.. he liked her.. and because his "friends" said they didn't... ??? It was border line ridiculous the last 2 seasons... sorry girl you went through a story w/no story at all..
kentkatchem, It was a 'Seinfeld' Story; If you examine a flawless person LONG ENOUGH you will find a flaw. On the show Jerry was the type that feared the perfect women, he was almost afraid to be happy! In a strange way, that's funny. Seinfeld ran for nine seasons and Jerry never had a real long-term girlfriend.
It's not you, yes she looks the same. Some women have got great gene's & age well. I also like the girl Jerry dated, the one that had the boyfriend Lyle. She still looks great as well.
I cannot see her without thinking of Marcia Brady. She played that role perfectly.
You mean Matilda from ZOOLANDER, right? 🤔
Yep
@@mitchellhughes5180 Come on. going on a BLIND date on your birthday? 🙄
Me too. She so nailed all the little mannerisms. Except even better looking than Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.
Her resemblance played that role perfectly...
God, this woman is awesome ... as an actress, comedic actress, person, a beauty ... just wow. 👏
I think it's amazing how you're able to plumb the depths of her soul through a six-minute video. : )

What a beauty...Loved her in The Wedding Singer.
She was sooo hot in Wedding Singer, Zoolander, and Dodgeball
loved her in "HEY-DUDE"
I loved Holly. I hope she ended up and settled down with Sammy.
She’s aged great. Beautiful woman
Ironic how she ends up being Jerry Stiller's daughter-in-law, a few years later. RIP Jerry Stiller.
Are people blind? She's human, of course she has aged, but she has aged well in natural way, which is refreshing
She's still hot, I can't say that for any woman who has had work done.
She is beautiful not sure what others are seeing.
@@mtadams2009 they would say this about ANY woman who had aged
Are people really saying this thats awful I was thinking the opposite she's aged really well
They’re COMPLIMENTING her, dude. They’re saying she aged WELL
There was nothing wrong with her, but it was Jerry's job to FIND something WRONG with her. Funny! Christine Taylor looks beautiful! '
I've always thought the same thing but why when George and Kramer meet her do they look at her like something is wrong?
She was the hottest girl Jerry ever dated.
Sue Elen Mshkie tho...
Nope, that title is reserved for Kimberly Campbell. 🥰😍

@Nuby29 They separated a few years ago.
Ahem Elaine! Hot
I loved her in 'Hey Dude'. Her voice hasn't changed. She's gorgeous.
I watched it all the time mainly because I was crazy in love with Kelly Brown who played "Brad." And yeah Christine is a knockout as well.
Holy crap, you just blew my mind. I have seen her in so many things but I completely blanked on “hey dude” which was one of my favorite shoes as a kid.
She'll always be Melody from Hey Dude
She’s just a dream and a really good actress.
SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
Very smart, very pretty girl, just a nice lady.
She is Jerry Stiller's (Frank Costanza) real-life daughter-in-law.
RIP Jerry Stiller
Hails from Allentown, Pa
SHE IS A GOOD ACTRESS!
I love Marcia Brady I mean Christine Taylor. Gorgeous!!!!!I would LOVE to see her in a Catholic School girl outfit.
Out of all the gorgeous girls who appeared on Seinfeld through the years, IMO Christine Taylor stands out as the cutest
And the most out of his league, looks and personality-wise. The only thing more implausible would be if she was dating Kramer, lol.
CHRISTINE IS NOT A LOSER!
She's a loser.

I forgot she was in an episode.clove this actress, especially in Dodgeball.

Liked her in the wedding singer 👍
2020s Christine Taylor looks like 1970s Cybill Sheppard.
Throw is a slice of Marsha Brady too.

She's aged really well. Looks better today than when she was in the show.
I had a crush on her ever since she was on that show Hey Dude....and she never aged a bit🤘🏽
Only in Jerry's dreams would she date him.
This actress also was the bald girl (Phoebe's friend) on "Friends."
She hasn’t aged. Incredible
I REMEMBER HER IN DODGEBALL!
My first question would be, how she prepared for her role as Marcia Brady cuz she NAILED IT!
“She’s too good.”
Beautiful, and smart.
Did they do the "same dress" lady? would love to know her story
yeah.. good point
Honestly she is even prettier than she was then. She looks even better now :)
Yeah, I think she has a little bit of the Dorothy Malone twinkle in her eyes!❤
Liz Sheridan as Jerry's mom gives me life.
Best show ever
I remember her on hey dude still on Nickelodeon
She is gorgeous.
3:24 - that kind of goes against Armin Shimmerman's account of his time at Seinfeld.
Jerry's girlfriends = Star Trek red shirts
edit: which would make Elaine = Scotty in the Trek Universe
Ridiculously accurate.
1990s Christine Taylor reminds me a lot of Brie Larson in terms of voice and personality
I thought i was the only one!
Taylor is sweeter.
Good comp!
Not even close. Christine is way more down to earth, Brie Larson is a shrew.
Larson seems like a total B and Taylor is way prettier anyways
Her and my sister were both born on the same day and so was Tom Green.
She is my lifelong crush ever since Hey Dude on Nickelodeon some 30 years ago. Always gorgeous
I loved Hey Dude!!
Being Frank Castanza's daughter-in-law didn't hurt her chances in getting the part.
They married a couple years after the show ended.
She was the perfect Marcia Brady.
She was the perfect fit for that part
I think it should be that real and spectacular girl.
Isn't she married to Ben Stiller? Great actress and awesome as Marcia Brady in the Brady Bunch Movie.
Nope, they divorced.
Still wish that the show would come back
Melody from Hey Dude was my first crush!!!!🐴
Still a knockout!
First Jerry, then Ross. This gotta be a cumulative highscore

I love that there are characters that only appeared in single episodes of Seinfeld are so memorable.
That was like every other episode lol
She was funny in Arrested Development.
Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.... Very solid actress.
So Jerry was curious about a hot girl in a Catholic school uniform?
Jeez....... who woulda thunk it?
Ben Stiller was married to this woman for 17 years.

She looks like she has aged 3 years, not 30.
It seems like her character was that perfect girl that us quirky girls often feel intimidated by
She's cute, but I'm sticking with Elaine and the scene with Jerry's proposal and her with the banana.
