Iura Shoju-en, Suzaka City - Thoughts of a Master Artist of Shinpaku as Represented by Fu-jin

This time, WABI CHANNEL visited Mr. Takashi Iura of Iura Shoju-en in Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture.
Mr. Iura is renowned for his Shinpaku bonsai, including Fu-jin, which won the prestigious Prime Minister's Award at this year's Nippon Bonsai Sakufuten.

Fujin is really famous, in overseas by the way. I’ve recognized the tree in the thumbnail already. Good to see that Iura-san loves the tree and do not spect to sell. Thanks Morimae-san.

Beautiful work! I have to say I while I don’t understand japanese I had been to Japan. The interviewer has the kindest, honoring, happy and reverent story telling voice I’ve heard. It’s like you can listen to him talk and know their is passion respect and reverence to the art for. Thank you for the great commentary
