- Today Haylee learns to drive a 1979 AM General M917 20 ton military dump truck out here on our homestead .
Thankfully Hank, her baby brother wasn’t too upset with her and allowed her to drive it. 😆 - Розваги
She's not even scared, these memories she will cherish for the the rest of her life
It's so nice to hear a dad say no to a cell phone and then teach her to drive. Good job dad. That's how ya do it.
my daughter used to help me all the time 20yrs later still talks about it good times thnx
She's all casual and relaxed, and dad is freaking out....I love it
😂
Lmao
I drove my first 18 wheeler at 8 years old, love to see parents still teaching their kids well.
Tough course for a first time driver but she handled it well. Dad's blood on the other hand....LOL! I taught my 12 year old daughter to drive a manual transmission first. Where we lived was all private roads anyway. Most were gravel roads. She took to it right away. A real natural.
That’s awesome! Our plow truck is a manual and I’ve considered letting them have at er!
I learn to drive on a manual but not drove once since then well except for my tractor. Its sort on manual but not the same. I wished I had that old ford pickup I learned on.
What a good papa....teaching the youngster to drive milatary rig. Not easy to do. Proud to see the accomplishments
Haylee you did great...........I've been doing this for 50 years.........my Great Uncle taught me.
this is what it means to be a father to teach there kids something and the bond they form will last forever
She showed a lot of patience with you lol. Great memories that you both will cherish forever!
😆 yeah she did!
For an 11 year old on a truck the size of a house....not bad at all, Haylee! Not bad at all, young lady! It's a lot to take in, especially in an area with so much stuff around you. But time = experience so hang in there! And great job, young man! You are doing an incredible job showing your young ladies the ropes. One day soon, before you even know it, the little man will be behind that wheel. Thanks so much for sharing your family time with us....it's greatly appreciated! Take care, be safe and God bless!
Thanks Jim! This truck is a big one! Even makes me nervous driving it 😆
poor Hank wont get to play with the big boy toys for a bunch of years and he aint happy about it lol well done Haley seatbelt needed hugssssss
Super Dad !!!
Your Daughter learns really fast. And you explain very good. You´re a TEAM
Thank you! I probably confused her a bit but I think she caught on pretty good. 😆
fantastic job everyone Daughters rolling up sleeves giving all to help Dad and Dad for teaching life skills
Thank you
Great job driving the truck young lady
Sometimes we dont give kids enough credit, they can really do a lot of things we might think they cant, when they have support like this young lady they excel at it.

Way to go Haylee you were doing a great job at 11 years old and running a 20 ton truck. I am proud of you. Keep up the good work you’ll be out there helping dad before too long doing all the truck driving you just tell him to step over in the other seat and you’ll take over.😊
😆
She is doing great!
Chad you remind me of my Dad teaching me to drive a Semi, joking calmness and patience.
Hayley great job.
Hank is so adorable and 2 months old already yikes.
Hope everyone are doing well
Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
Thank you Patricia! Have a great night!
Well, Haylee is driving 20 tons of fun. I am sure she will improve in time. Just like when we were learning to ride a bicycle. She is willing to learn that is what's important. See you were or is blessed with a baby boy. I call you blessed. May God continue blessing you and your whole family forever and ever. Well, continue having fun teaching your girls how to drive the 20- ton truck. I enjoyed viewing all of your videos, they are fun to watch. Keep having fun, fun, lots of fun. (David, Texas, USA)
Thank you David!
Congratulations on the new baby big love to you all mate 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤

Thank you!! 😊
Love it 😁. Make the most of it chap, they grow up quick 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is awesome. I can remember the first time my uncle let me drive his international transtar. 290 cummins 13 sped I had a ball!
Way ta go girl. Great job!!!!
This is a great way to teach a kid to drive. A path to follow, obstacles to avoid, but nothing that's going to cause critical damage to anything if something goes wrong. I learned to drive in a gravel pit. Nothing to hit but dirt walls, but lots of rocks to avoid. I like how dad tested her repeatedly on the break as well as explaining to her why he was doing so. This changes it from an "annoying repetitive thing dad is making me do" in her brain to a "this is important and matters" thing. -- You did a great job Haylee. Enjoy these days. =)
Thank you. Gravel pit sounds like a good idea!
Well done Hayley that kid will do well in life wow Hayley can drive and I'm a 44 year old lady and I can't even drive so she's amazing xx
Great job! At least you put her in an idiot proofed truck. I was put in a 77 Mack R when I was 10-11 years old. Lots of laps around the fields back then. She will remember that day forever. Congratulations
That is one cool Tonka truck, I'm jealous. Brings back some memories from my military days.
Thank you for your service! Hope you’re doing well!

Awww...look at the baby!
Nice work Haylee!
Way to go Haley & Dad! My Uncle Joe was a diesel mechanic and he taught me how to drive a bulldozer when I was 9! 2 years ago I got my Class A license!
Lol i wish i could drive that thing. My dad worked for AM General back in the early 80's and i loved all the military trucks. He would occasionally bring the smaller ones home for a weekend because he knew how much i loved trucks. She did a good job for her first time, and dad did a great job teaching. Couple more years and she'll be backing trailers in the bush.
Come on out and take er for a drive!
Way to go Haylee.
Very cool video kudos to you dad and excellent driving young Lady were so proud of you! Practice makes perfect

Thank you! Hope you’ve been well! Have a great weekend!
Congratulations on the new edition to the fam!
Thank you
Yep. That's the right way to teach. Learn how to stop before anything else. 👍🏻🇬🇧
You are a very patient and good instructor……..that is a beautiful truck and it must come in really handy! What a thrill for an 11 yr.old to drive something that big! Good job!
Thanks James! It definitely comes in handy. I was pretty nervous the first time I drove it too.
My first go at driving was in a 1966 Chevy Impala 4 Door that my parents bought it from a old couple. Afterwards I learned how to drive a car with a manual transmission which was a 1985 Yugo. When I actually got my driver's license for my first car I could got the 1966 Chevy Impala 4 Door but I passed on that. Instead for my first car it was a 1971 Chevy Nova when I got it the car from my parents. The person next door was quite jelly over my 1971 Chevy Nova.
Oh man the Nova’s are some nice old classic! Love em!
I was getting freaked out on your instructions too! LOL
😂
Great video! Well done Haylee, I couldn't have done nearly as good as you when I was 11. You'll be driving before you know it!😎
I'm pretty sure I was Haleeys age when my Dad taught me to drive stick. "Please don't kill us." May have been uttered by my Dad that first day.
7:38 Thems some fancy boots right there.
Father is a nervous wreck and Haylee is so relaxed.
lol, that was great! my son is 13, and can't wait to teach him to drive. I wish I had land to be able to teach him ahead of time, so he could learn ahead of time, and be more responsible once he is of age. I am sure your kids will benefit greatly from these sessions
My grandparents would take my brother and I out on the two tracks and let us drive their old Chevy Chevette. The good old days! Great memories too! Take your son out on some back roads or some two tracks! He’ll remember it forever!
hey hey my ginger bearded brother!! Its been a minute since I last watched youtube very sorry for my absence, good news though! Got a new job, got a baby on the way, buying my first home! Things have been crazy for me lately lol, but Man its good to see ya still posting videos! Your baby girls have gotten so big!!! Man they grow up so fast! I could feel how proud you was teaching little Hailey how to drive that big o tank of a truck lol. Glad things are going good for you brother, will continue to keep yall in our prayers, Love you brother! keep it up
Thank you man! And congratulations on the baby and the new home! That’s good stuff! Love that baby with all that you’ve got!
you know it brother@@9252LIFE
You are still the greatest Dad ever! Also Hank is a cute little baby! Todd from da U.P.
Thanks Todd!
This was awesome. Good kid.
Loved that cat transmission in my M916's, and M920's
Way to go Hailey...
brings back memories of young me driving the 1 ton loaded with hay bales.
That's why fathers like him are epic... my father taught me how to drive a car when I was 8, on an abandoned airstrip of course.
The more parents teach their kids stuff like this early on, the easier their lives will be in the long run.
Personally I would only feel comfortable in a cab over engine truck tho.
Those are more maneuverable, too.
Hayley I hope you had a lot of fun enjoy it😅😅😅😅❤
My eyes are probably deceiving me, but it sure seems like Haley took off quicker than Talia did😂
Just like my daughter. She uses the accelerator like she's robbed a bank!!😂😂😂😂
😂
Something about a military truck getting driven by a girl in Ugg boots just doesn’t seem right, but this is still so cool.
Number 5... Congratulations.
6.. Thank you
Hes teaching as it should be done especially steering when stopped
Awesome sauce!
I love this. She's doing great
She needs a speed knob on the wheel she a good driver keep up the good dad
That’s what I was thinking. Those knobs are nice!
She did a good job at driving that truck dad you need to put a spiner on your steering wheel.🤠
Yes one of those would be nice!
when you lift the Pedals she is a perfeckt Driver :D
Nice truck 🛻

Give her a week and she will be driving that thing like NASCAR. Good on ya girl.
