• A Normal Day in Paris ...
how has your day to day changed over the past year?!
Hi, thank you for this video. Where is that co-working place? It looks amazing.
A trick: you can watch series on Kaldrostream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Ulises Vihaan definitely, I have been watching on kaldroStream for since december myself :)
@Ulises Vihaan yup, been using Kaldrostream for years myself =)
Eating a brioche and drinking french coffee while I am watching TIffanie's life in Paris.
yasss love it!
So... I’m 14 and I want to live my dream out In paris and u inspire me so much to do so I’m already learning French and I’m exited!!!
Are you in Paris yet?
The not moving out of the way when you're walking is definitely a city thing. I tend to move because I don't want someone touching me. Yuck. It's bad manners though and it sucks.
I feel you about people refusing to move out of your space. I would just stop abruptly and turn like I'm doing something. They usually move around you.
You're such a pleasure to watch.
Yep this happens to me in London too: people expecting me to give the way even when they are a group of people. I usually pretend to be on my phone or look left or right so they have to care instead of me. It works most of the time.
I actually love how my days have been going this past year! The calm and ability to not feel over scheduled has been great! It's actually been a great year for productivity, relaxation, and downtime, so no complaints overall!
When you said sponsor, I had the biggest smile on my face! Killing it!
I work from my office two days a week (because it's just me and one other person) but those two days give me a purpose and reason to leave my apartment and it's great. Totally felt your struggle and so glad you found a place you can go. But the end is in sight! Stay strong.
Ahh yes! It's so nice to just get out of the apartment!!
Tiffanie is like the definition of a hustling 👌🏾✨💖
When i was living in Paris back 2012, I took a summerjob in the Amorino in the marais!!
Ever since then I cannot take one more sip of it cause I binged them sooo much!!!
I feel you on people not moving out of the way. I went through this a lot when I worked in downtown Bellevue, WA. It's super annoying when the other person starts to walk directly towards me when there's so much space! It makes no sense!
Tiff coming through with the sustainable sponsorship and productivity inspiration that I needed! 🙌🏾
Loved this little snippet into your work life. I agree with you about people not budging when it comes to walking in public. Studies have shown its men who do this to women (both racism and sexism plays into this), where they have a sense of entitlement towards the space/roads/ walkways.
This is exactly my take on when it happens to me... so most of the time I don’t even bother to move!
Agree about the people walking and they don't move. One can assume that some people are just not as fast-thinkers as others. Some may be like lost in their thoughts, so they might or might not see you, and then the next thing, you know, they're right there in front of you. As far as following too close behind me, I don't like that either. Sometimes, I may start to yawn/ stretch and, if they're too close, while I stretch, then my arm might brush against them. I may make a joke like "Oh, we're so close. Sorry, didn't mean to bump into you."
I love that you always have ice cream cones in your apartment! And I love how positively you talk to yourself! About how proud of yourself you are... what an inspiration that is to me!!! I’ve been focusing on being proud of myself these days too, and it truly spurs me on to do more... it generates such lovely momentum! Yay! Tiffanie, it’s been a joy to watch your day-in-the-life! I’ll be back for more soon!! 😄👍 Wishing you all the best (and lots more beautiful days... with no curfew!!!) -Jordan Toronto ❤️
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos and I totally understand what you saying about you walking in a major cities. I live in NYC and I dream of living in Paris full time. please keep the videos coming!
I really resonate with what you said about annoying people who don't move to the side when they approach you on the street. I live in London and this happens A LOT - I'm often the only person in this situation that makes the effort to move 😑. I find it really irritating because often it's just me walking and then a couple walking side-by-side will come towards me and they like expect me to step aside when they are taking up 2/3 of the pavement/sidewalk. It's the most annoying thing and people who do this are just inconsiderate AF
Your music is ALWAYS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
What a great video! Wow! Loved the workspace. You are one talented Vlogger!!!
Such a great day in the life! You always have the best music in your videos! Thank you so much for sharing!
Nice workspace! The extra hour from the curfew really does help! :) Love the meet-up idea, hope I'll still be in Paris when that happens :) Love the vibe you share in your channel :)
Your workspace is so modern and clean, I love it! I am so glad we have that extra hr for curfew but I can’t wait to get back to some type of normal, I miss restaurants so much!
People not moving out of the way used to happen a lot to me in NYC from a particular type of person. I'll leave it at that.
Hey Tiffanie - I enjoyed this video and your new workspace is really nice - looks comfy.
Great video, Tiffanie! A handy word in Paris for what you’re describing: les bousculeurs!
This ok’ white lady loves your hair. 💕 Paris is my favorite place, so I am living vicariously thru you. Really enjoy your video.
LOVE the watch!!! so chic!
Your workspace looks amazing! Thnx for the street views of Paris❤️. Would love to visit soon. Xx from amsterdam
I'm obsessed with the Amorino chocolate sorbet. SO good.
Ooooh nice watch! I am a freak for rose gold!! Very nice! Thank you for sharing your day in Paris! Makes me feel like I’m there! Woot! ❤️❤️
Awww, this made me miss Paris soo much! Thank you for taking us along!
glad to know i'm not the only one who wears a backpack to work lol. i feel like a child wearing it but carrying a laptop in a purse is so uncomfy!! this vlog was so motivating to watch. def would love to see more of these productive work day vlogs ❤️
eating gelato while watching this and wondering why i've never thought of buying cones:)
I know is a pandemic and we are limited with selfcare. I would love to see you with a different hair style. You are so pretty. would love to see you long hair.
What up Tiff. Yes feel you on the weather front, here in London the weather is soooooo nice and for the rest of the week too. Luckily our restrictions lifted to the next level this week with the rule of six. And like you I just love being able to take a nice walk but shops are still closed here at the moment. Keep safe and well. Cheers J
I thought it was just me... when I walk down the sidewalk and someone doesn’t adjust I don’t either I usually just toss my bag over my shoulder and let them bump into it. And when someone is right behind me or right up on me... I usually turn and give them a look! Anywho I love your videos and I’m moving to Paris next year! A bientot!
I work in the same building. The balcony in front of your coworking space
That track suit is soo cute! yes would love for you to do meet up ,just wait till I can get there!! Berthillion is amazing as I"m sure you have tried . I think its similar to Amerino but slightly better but any gelatato in Paris is amazing
Yes. The don't move over thing...SO NOW nor do I! and we have yet to bump LOL...Not the walking close behind me...perhaps they want to be on camera(?) Enjoyed the new space...
Sunday’s with tiff! I was in Paris 2/19/20 a week or two before the lockdown and I miss it!
Ahh you got here just in time!!
Loving your sweatsuit outfit so much! And so jealous you have somewhere to go to work. If I don’t come up with an errand to go out and do I could just never leave my apartment
Thank you! Ahh yess it was the same for me - I really needed somewhere to go to focus and get work done! Totally get it.
Croissants, fresh fruit stand, Spring blooms...ooh la la!
I agree about the aggressive city walkers who won't budge and follow too closely. So many unhappy people searching for power. I usually just move myself and keep on my way. Also, I love Amarino too. We have it in New York too.
Bonjour TIFF
Très bon vidéo
Glad to see you are getting sponsors
Hopefully coming to Paris end of Sept
Maybe we can join up and go to Sunday in Soho
Yes, I always had that thought... why am I always moving for everyone. But I would probably get bumped and fly too.
Happy to have discovered your channel. I am a French parisian 😊
Aww yay! Glad to have you here :)

Happy to see your normal day in Paris as a millennial entrepreneur.
Hey! I love your hair!
I always thought the not moving thing was a French thing. It happens where I lived in France prior to moving to Paris. All of my expat friends, regardless of their origin, have this experience here. I come from Atlanta and I have never had this experience. Granted, it’s the south.
Co-working spaces. I love this concept. I'm working from home and it's okay, but I'm starting to miss going to another space. I would be way more productive. I heard that Australia has opened back up. I'm so jealous. Lol .I was born and raised in New York, but live in the south now. I'm missing city living so much. Visiting Paris is at the top of my travel list. Can't wait.
So many people who lived in NY move to the south, myself included. It's so expensive in NY and I didn't want a roommate but now I am missing it. Still my next step is to move to Paris.
Pedestrians refusing to move happens in the cities here in Australia as well.
The worst are couples who think they have more rights or are too scared to unglue themselves.
Bonjour Tiffanie..I see your point about people see you coming and they refuse to move especially at Wal-Mart with the shopping carts..😠
Part of the reason I rarely go in stores. I hate having to be so close to people and so many people have no etiquette or manners to move their carts when they see you trying to pass although I loudly say excuse me to ensure they hear me because they pretend like they can't see when someone is attempting to get by it's still annoying having to do that.
Hi Tiff! I have my tickets to Paris for May( I hope I don’t have to change them). If you are doing meetups then let me know- Sunday in Soho?
Omg I CONSTANTLY sing my words. Through the years it's rubbed off on a ton of people in my life like my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and even some of my friends at work. 😂
Your hair looks great. I have yet to visit Paris it's such a beautiful city. Although I speak french from Quebec it's not quite the same as that of the French from Europe.
Omg that’s a double scoop gelato! I’m in NYC and I end up moving since I’m small and afraid to get rammed in the shoulders. Somehow I think people purposely do that, and now with these Asian attacks I stay far away from people now. I was born and raised and living in the same city and still feel like an outsider.
Do you have a clue of when the lockdown may be lifted? And what’s it like living in Paris and not fully knowing the language?
I may have to move there this summer, so your videos have been super helpful😂
I have been working everyday ( hybrid) in a School. We did go back remote for holidays until Jan. I recently tested Covid positive and near end of quarantine. School is risky as its hard to social distance plus touching bathroom doors and knobs etc. That is shared by male/ female. I prefer remote work abit to limit the risks.
Meanwhile here I am in Madrid where they make me go to the office 3 days a week (even though there's no actual need for it) and I REALLY don't wanna go and prefer working from home cause the subway is always PACKED! 😷 But I understand you guys have been locked down for so long, you need to get out. I just can't stand the subway! 😬 Does it get as packed there? PS: loved your sporty outfit!
U look so cool in ur outfit ❤🌟
Finally a video that’s outside, and not the same room! It’s been so long. LOL
Lol!! I blame the pandemic 🙈
I definitely experienced the walking thing while living in NYC, people expect you to move...or they'll be like 4+ people in a row walking down the sidewalk. Now I experience it in LA sometimes and I just stop in my tracks and let them move around me...I'm not moving lmao 😒
Fun, well done video. 👌🏽🌻
Glad you enjoyed! x
@@TiffanieDavis Been grooving on your videos. Moved to Mexico City, Mexico after 20 years in NYC about two years ago. Loving the expat life here. Will definitely hit Paris for a visit when everything reaches what may resemble normal. 🌻
Last time a guy stood on my way I took off the mask and started coughing - the way was clear right away 🤣🤣
I just watched Moulin Rouge last night and was thinking I need to finally visit Paris.
Entre 1900 et 2021...ma ville Paris a pas mal changé je crois... C'est comme pour New York entre 1900 et 2021!!!😎🐓
Bonne vidéo Tiff ! I also don't like it when people walk too close to me. It's so creepy!
The pedestrian thing also happens in Montreal 🇨🇦. Specially downtown (pre-covid) 😑 😒
Not so much anymore 😅
People literally think you have the plague so....
Ahhh it's so annoying!
I wish you had stopped at the boulangerie! Love seeing you outside! Also, did you quit your office job at the beauty brand? Was confused when you said you were home working all the time.
My CDD ended in 2020! I work for myself now :)
@@TiffanieDavis Congrats! That's amazing!
What kind of visa do you need now for working for yourself?
@@TiffanieDavis what job do you do now then?
💛
The lack of pedestrian manners is definitely big city behavior. In D.C, Manhattan, Seoul, Miami, and San Fran like globally it's an issue I've encountered. While in Tokyo I expected better, because there are street signs illustrating how to be alert and courteous while walking and riding bikes on the sidewalks. Unfortunately, not everyone reads those signs and just forget about personal space entirely 😄.
Please can you show us what people in Paris are wearing?
How strict are the curfews? You said it’s 6:30pm & curfew is 7pm. How long does it take to get home? Take care!
How much does it cost per day or monthly? I use to go to random cafeterías because like you said makes you feel more productive and also break the day but you need a budget because you have to buy food and drinks in order to stay hours there.
We also have these co working spaces but they are expensive for random people also there is this fear of get your stuff stolen at the street and it’s not easy to buy a new computer 💻 again
In Buenos Aires it’s the same about people not moving and It wouldn’t be safe to blog at the streets with a camera 📷 like that. I don’t know how does work it paris I think in every huge city you always have to be careful at certains areas but still I think Paris is safer than here
Where is the place with the steps to sit down?
Been there!!!!!! use to move. NOT ANYMORE!
I was wondering, did they disinfect that room before you went in? Hotels have to so I am hoping that this company is keeping the people who work their safe.
How much dovthey charge to use the work space?
How much do you need to pay to use this co-workin space?
Paris and New york which place is more beautiful to you?😊
New York
I can only focus in a starbucks store... Don't know why...
Where in Paris is this co-working space?
I think this is the same space that Damon Dominque uses...I wonder I've you've ever ran into each other
I loved this video! Except for thinking about the horrible people who get too close, especially in a pandemic. I hope you’re alright after that git knocked into you 😡
I am new to your channel. What is your profession?
im from chicago and cant have anyone walk behind me. i also don't move when people walk towards me. they assume black people and women are supposed to move.
Wtf?
Agreed, very entitled people on the streets, specially groups and couples. Now I move a little, nod at them the direction they are supposed to go, and brace my shoulders. If you don’t move as well im not sorry for you 🤣 Montreal’s metro is much easier to navigate that way, show no mercy 🙈
Y'en a qui suivent les aventures de Tiffanie en France, moi je préfère les aventures de Tintin au Congo...il était plus stylé.😎🐓
It’s sad because I’ve been watching your video since my second trip to Paris and always wanted to move there and live there but as a Muslim woman who doesn’t want her job it would just be completely unethical for me to ever do so anymore since the new laws are in place. Really sad about freedom of expression and religion there.
I went to a small gathering not too long ago and I didn’t want to eat the food because people were breathing on it. Or if I did eat it I was the first one to touch it. Bye bye potlucks ☹️
I've seen comments from people that have said, ok, black women, have said men and others won't move when they're on the sidewalk. Not sure if it's just city life, or if other factors apply. it's annoying
Don't play the victim. It's not just black women. But I value my thoughts and my time much too much to worry about the stupid people around me. Sometimes I just stop and stand there if I get the bug, and people usually go around me then.
Could it be that people are thinking the same thing that you are, and that is
"she should move", and because you don't, they won't.
It's hard being human. Did you lie to them? I thought you said you were running late, not that somebody else was in the room before you?
LOL no I didn't lie! I had to wait for someone who was on a call to get out of the room, that's why I was running late ;)
