Unless the roll players literally get on the court and their performance screams "F this 5hit, a la D'angelo Russell, then the star players take the heat. This is Luka's first finals appearance, so he's obviously going to be scruitinized heavily. Luka is undoubtebly the reason why they are here, and now that they are here, the objective is to win. Two things can be true. Luka can be the reason Mavs are in the finals and Luka can also be the reason the Mavs don't win the finals. Does all the blame fall on Luka, of course not, but it's obvious his defense is hyper bad. It's obvious his complaining to refs was a considerable factor in losing a close game 3. His 2nd highest scoring player was a 38 year old Shaq averaging 13 ppg in that series and Lebron STILL took the Celtics 6 games.
