how do you check if that particular tv needs a firmware update or not? i have a sony bravia klv-40s550a HD and i dont know if it supports the ps4's hdr mode...i tried it and the ps4 says tv does not support hdr..do i need to still update the firmware ? or not? how do you check if that tv supports or not? i dont know if mine supports or not..would love to know.thanks!

Hello There, Hope you are OK. I have a sony bravia R55C and it still has youtube. Sadly it keeps loading all the time whilst I am trying to watch a video .It has been happening since day one.I have tried a factory reset and it didn't work. Any advice or help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Angela Hope hi. So i don't think these TVs still support UA-cam.. I would recommend buying a chromecast device to get UA-cam on your tv

i think your tv its not a 3d tv so, if u dit meet that so u must download the software from sony then copy pen drive and load it on tv.
@@RoyceTbestintheworld i tried but failed, its not updating, i have not option for updating it via USB

My 40 Sony bravia is without youtube, it`s like my grandma Old Furniture TV but with HDMI inputs. Now tell me: whom the hell would ever buy a smart TV without UA-cam?? It is a big SCAM.
Mario Guren Hi, yes its true now... youtube is no longer supported on my sony TV too. It's possibly available on newer models, but its definitely not supported on my version now. I recommend trying chromecast, very cheap, flexible and seems to work most of the time.
