The SWAM version 2 instruments basically are a completely different plugin: With v3 the interface has been completely reworked, the controller scheme and also the sound models. There are a bunch of new controls in SWAM v3 that v2 did not have. Because of all these changes and improvements, the version 3 plugins are a whole different plugin. Templates that were created with SWAM v2 can't be opened with SWAM v3. Thus the technical need for us to do an update. But apart from that, we have also learned a lot since the first SWAM templates and wanted to put that new knowledge into the updated templates to improve the sound, playability and finally of course new presets.
@@BlazhenBazeNastevski Yes, you can find legacy templates here: divisimate.com/swam-orchestral-template-legacy/ divisimate.com/swam-big-band-template-legacy/ If you're using Logic, keep in mind that those were designed for Logic 10.6 and utilize Logic Mode. The SWAM Orchestra Legacy for Logic can not run the entire orchestra in one session.
@@Nextmidi thank you very much guys I higly appreciate your work it is a dream. I have one suggestion though, if you could provide a bit more clear instruction on the trigger option it doesn't seem to trigger the mutes in swam at least in my case and maybe if you can give an example or the trigger coupling with some other library as well in a video it would be awesome. If I figure it out first, I will make a video. Keep up the great work !
@@BlazhenBazeNastevski Are you familiar with this video? ua-cam.com/video/pEDww3ACsCo/v-deo.html The trigger sends specific values of CC 100 to switch between mutes. If you're using different versions of SWAM, it's possible that not all settings are getting recalled correctly, expecially since the legacy templates are no longer kept up to date. Check to see if the mutes in the SWAM Brass are set to switch on CC100 - if not, set them to listen to CC100 to switch mutes.
Why is SWAM Orchestra v3 template not compatible with ableton live. It's the biggest and best industry standard DAW. It makes me question if this is a reliable developer.
Unfortunately there are some technical difficulties that prevent us from offering this template for Ableton Live at the moment. Ableton Live currently does not seem to be able to handle this large a number of SWAM instruments. We have reached out to the support teams and are hoping that this will be resolved in the future. Once it is stable and reliable, we will definitely add a version of the Orchestral Template for Ableton Live.
Thank You.
This is awesome 😎👍
Doesn't work with cakewalk?
Could we get a template which suites ALL of the SWAM instruments, please?
Hi Sekrit, thanks for the suggestion. What do you mean by that?
Great video, but I'm curious what necessitates updating the template for SWAM v3?
