- It's not often I'm truly awed by a 5-star hotel's executive lounge and services but WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say when it came to my first reaction at The Ritz-Carlton CLUB Kuala Lumpur. I've stayed at The Ritz in KL previously and I pop in from time to time for Afternoon Tea as it's my favourite in town. However what the CLUB offers up is true exclusivity on a level that is unprecedented, at least for me. This luxury property gives CLUB guests their own private entrance to the hotel, a private lift, and much, much more.
Why You'll Love The Ritz-Carlton CLUB
- V.I.P. Style! I've mentioned it already but the private entry and lift are wonderful treats, especially during peak hours at the hotel. The feeling I had was almost like being in a swank boutique hotel because the number of other guests you encounter upon check-in or simply walking in and out of the hotel is reduced so drastically, it's wonderful.
- Chauffer Service! The hotel is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with tons to see and do (and eat, drink, and shop for!) and CLUB guests have access to a private driver to chauffer them around KL's Golden Triangle.
- A la Carte Dining & High Tea! Let your expectations fly free! The CLUB offers up standard treats like brekkie and cocktail hour of course. On top of that, you can dine a la carte for all meals, from a menu that combines the best of all F&B outlets at the hotel. You can recharge in the afternoon with traditional High Tea as well (and take a tip from me and order the The Ritz-Carlton Blend, it's truly special and delightfully fragrant).
- It's Open 24/7! Whether you're burning the midnight oil and just want an escape or your flight schedule is less than ideal, you'll love being able to pop into the lounge any time day or night.

Wow, the room is wonderful. I stayed here before and they gave me a free upgrade from the normal deluxe to executive deluxe. Haha, I also requested for the bubble bath and the scent it gave out was amazing!!
OMG!! This is the very same Suite I stayed in, all the way back in 2010 😍. So glad they have renovated it beautifully. Will be staying here in December this year but in a 2 bedroom suite 😂
Unfortunately, the 2 Bedroom Suites don't have club access..... Kinda sad
Ohhhh nice! Yes, it's a lovely room ... very bright and cheery, especially love the bright and white bathroom :-) I always travel alone so I haven't seen the 2 bedroom suites but can imagine that they are lovely.
Hi Angela, I stayed at Ritz Carlton once and I must say, one of the most prestige hotel I've ever stayed (of course, with the costly rate)! I think it's worth the rate, especially with the spacious and classy room and not to forget the friendly service they provide. I like the ala carte breakfast which I don't mind to enjoy it every single day! How is the high tea? It looks not bad though. If I've a chance, I'll definitely try the best carrot cake in KL!
Seriously, best carrot cake in KL haha I'm really not joking. I have turned down even trying a bite of other carrot cakes based purely on looks now (not enough frosting, not fluffy/moist enough, etc)
And they have my favourite Afternoon Tea in town. I prefer enjoying it in the Lobby Lounge if I'm being honest, it's such a lovely space and feels more 'high tea' there. Hi, about the Chauffeur Service. Does it comes with a fee or included in your booking package? I was a Club Guest too but never been mentioned about this service.
I don't remember, but I think it was included free.

Does the 2 bedroom suite also get access to the club?
I don't know ... but I do know that I stayed in a suite during another stay but it was not given Club access. There is a difference between a normal suite and a club suite at the time of booking so you get all the extras.
