Hazelnut Cookies
Ingredients
350 g (2 ¾ cups) All-purpose flour
4 g (1 teaspoon) Baking powder
250 g (2 ½ cups) roasted and ground hazelnuts
100 g (1 packet) Chocolate Chips
1/4 teaspoon salt
300 g (1 ½ cups) sugar
250 g (1 ¼ cups) butter or margarine
1 tablespoon orange zest
2 eggs
Procedure
For the hazelnut cookies, preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix JOTIS All-purpose flour with JOTIS Baking powder and salt, and sift them together.
Add the ground hazelnuts to the flour.
Beat the butter or margarine with the sugar in a mixer until it whitens and becomes fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to beat.
Reduce the speed and add the flour mixture.
Mix a little longer until the ingredients are combined.
Add JOTIS Chocolate Chips.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased, place small amounts of dough with a spoon, spaced well apart.
Bake the hazelnut cookies in a moderately preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
When baked, transfer to a cool surface with a spatula and allow them to cool completely.
