You have become the authority on Chicago suburb pumpkin patches. We love visiting our local pumpkin patch each fall. And we are always down for a corn maze. Thanks for sharing your list with us!
Trying to be a local authority the same way you guys are from your area. This one was 5 years in the making and it was fun to look back. Of course I finished this list of 8 and now I have 8 new ones recommended. Here's to the next 5 years.
Took 5 years to get this compilation. The family had a great time looking back how fast the kids have grown. Yea, the chicks were one of the best part of the season!
I love seeing all the beautiful pumpkins!! It's my favorite time of the year! Goodness there are so many. And the kid rides are so cute too. Love the Rosalie cam on the slide - too cute! Aweee the goats are so cute! Okay, you got the cutest footage EVER of the baby chicks!!! My heart! I love how intrigued they are by the camera haha. Fantastic video as always :)
Pumpkin season is the best! It took only 5 years to get this collection. The Baby Chicks was only found in 1 of these pumpkin patches. Every farm should have some to hold. Thanks for watching.
Woww the atmosphere in the pumpkin field is very beautiful, we are free to choose pumpkins to buy and ready to make food. Thank you my friend for sharing this interesting story from your video.
After I finished this list (after 5 years), I got so many more great suggestions. So here we go for the next 5 years. The girls are excited to go to a new one today. For 10 years, we went to the same one over and over.
The Baby Chicks is the one thing that is super unique about this place. And we loved how it was only one price for everything. There are so many more to see for us.
I always look forward to your pumpkin patch videos🎃 Love these throwbacks and seeing Rosalie and Addison when they were younger! The baby chicks are so cute🐥
This one has been in the works for quite awhile and you may be the only one who saw all pumpkin patch videos when they first came out. Rosalie and Addison are just growing up way too fast. The baby chicks was one of my favorite parts.
Nice special effects with the jumping Carl. Each park certainly has different things to offer. I do like the idea that you pay one admission fee and you get everything included, rather than having to delve constantly from your wallet. No 2 and No 1 are my favourites, all inclusive! Thank you for showing us these fabulous, fun places Carl. Have a great week ahead. 🤠👍🏼🙏🏼
Eventually I'll go to 2 times a month and when I do that, there will be much more special effects. They just take 1 -2 hours for 10 seconds of footage. I went to the same one for 10 years, so now we are just being more adventurous,
Happy to see you rated my nephew Scott Bengtson’s farm #1!!! Bengtson’s is the granddaddy of them all imo because they’ve been in business since the mid 1980s. It’s been AMAZING watching them grow over the years!
It was next level and there isn’t anything close. I really like how he has differentiated this pumpkin patch to others. Everyone looks for different things, but this is exactly what our family loves.
Goeberts Farm!🎃🥰🧡Sonny Acres! Love it!!!🎃🎃👊🏽👊🏽Pony rides and carnival rides! Bouncy houses! Wow! A haunted house ride Whaaa??? Stadies! Apple picking! Awesome! Cider house!🍎🍎🍎So many activities to do!!! So fun!!! Children’s Zoo! Perfect for little kids!!!🍎🎃🧡🧡Corn mazes too! 🌽🌽🌽You guys had a blast!!! Thank you for sharing guys!!! Perfect vlog for the fall!!!!🍂🍁🍂🍁Have the best time!!! Great tips!!!👊🏽🧡🧡🙏🏽 9:19 🎃🎃🎃
I agree. I was going to go to one more before making this but I figured it would be better to get this one out now while it is the start of the season.
Wow! You have some amazing pumpkin patches near you! What great attractions - Carnival rides, animatronics and zorbing! I didn't even know that had zorb in North America - We did it as an activity in our New Zealand trip. Anyway, looks like you had a ton of fall fun!
Took awhile to get these, I had this vision for this video for 5 years. Glad I finally got it out. New Zealand is high on our list and can't wait to go there. Our family just loves the fall season. Hope you guys have a great weekend!
Great intro Carl! That's some vertical you got there!!! It's that time of year again! You're way better at your timing than I am. I'm always to late seasonally! My UA-cam suggestions are always like... "Try to make more timely videos".
The last 2 years, October has been my best month so I'm trying to be better at timing it. From all my timely videos, we have found the most success having it out 4-5 weeks before the event. I would love to do a special effect in each video, but as you know, it takes a while to edit these videos. So once in awhile I like to get a little extra creative.
dang! That's a serious undertaking. You must have spend a lot of time at Pumpkin Patches! There sure is a wide price range between these different farms! I now officially want to go "Zorking"... I think that's what the inflatable ball down the hill is called. That farm also had a zip line!?! No pumpkin patches have that here. I'd call that one the adventure pumpkin farm and I'd head to that one first. So much helpful information here. Hopefully lots of people in the Chicago area get these insights from you.
Yea, it was 5 years in the making to get this video out. I was going to do one more but I was like that will be for the next collection. The adventure farm was the most unique for sure with so much to do for the older kids. I was so excited to do this video compilation.
I love haunted hayrides! I would go with Stade's because I love fresh apples! Thanks for the reminder, I'm overdue to make my famous fall dip! I like all the rides at All Seasons! I like that Joahnson's has everything included in one price- things can add up so quickly! We looked into Richardson's before for the corn maze! Maybe if we have time on the way back we can still give it a whirl if you guys are free! Bengston's has it going on! I want to ride that rabbit! Great video Carl! The list style is super valuable!
We still have so much apples from Stades. The all in one price is great - but not for those Donkey rides. I think they can get as long as 45 minutes. Let me know, I would be all about going to Richardson. I think it was 2020 when we went. As you can see it was a little busy! I think all the other places limited the number of folks at the farm. This was something I have been wanting to put together for 5 years. I was happy how it turned out.
LOL that jump superman intro always gets me.. need to do more editing magic 😂 glad there's plenty of places to see pumpkin patches there. Goebbert Farm, you guys look so young there lol.. I think they all have their merits, it just depends on your budget and what you're looking for. Bengston Farm does look crowded, but I can see why you listed it #1. All good choices though!
Editing is so fun but sometime there isn't enough time for special effects. If I did 1 video every 2 weeks, I definitely would. But I think I have a backlog of videos of 20-30. We watched all of this as a family looking back. All of us were so much younger but especially Rosalie. Rosalie has been in the camera since she was born.
Never did go to a lot of pumpkin patches when I was a kid kind of takes a fun out of it when it's still close to 100° lol Looks like a lot of fun up north though! Those mazes would have been my favorite
Me neither - living through my kids right now. Oh yea, it's pretty hot over there right now. It's a cool 60's to 70's here right now. Those corn mazes never gets old.
Nice round-up video! Seeing some of those clips was a little strange: Rosalie is so small in some of them & then the pandemic ones. Makes you reflect on how much has changed the past several years. Anyway, I’m going to have to make it to that place that has Zorbing. I’ve been wanting to do that since I saw it on The Amazing Race.
Yea, I have been planning this for quite awhile. I was going to do one more but decided to release it. Time just goes so fast and you can tell with little Rosalie. I didn't get a chance to do Zorbing but I want to do it also.
Especially if you are going with a family. Took only 5 years to get to 8 of them. I don't have the stamina like you hitting all those court houses in OH in a few days.
Wow! I’m out of touch - some of those places are really expensive. I’ve always liked the ones that have the pumpkins actually growing in the field with more of the actual farm type activities. So many are just fall themed amusement parks! 🍁🎃👻
Yea, they are not getting cheaper. But it is way cheaper than Disneyland! I agree though, my favorites are the ones you can pick from the vine. Had no idea they were so prickly until I went to one.
I went to my first pumpkin patch in Arthur, Illinois. It was $8 to get in. You also had to pay for anything you bought. They had a large corn maze and hayride that was an extra $5 fee. From what I can gather, most pumpkin patches in my part of the country (Illinois northeast of St. Louis) are around $10
What a great list of activities!!! Fall is definitely my favorite season!!
Fall is the best but it doesn't last too long here in Chicago area. It's Fall then it snows. Not much of a transition usually. Have a great weekend!

Wow not seen so many Pumpkins....an amazing place..

It was so fun to check out all these different pumpkin patches. Thanks for watching.
There are so many awesome pumpkin patch options there! Really loved the huge beast -- the kid versions of us would have lost our minds seeing that 🤩
After I finished this list (after 5 years), I got so many more great suggestions. So here we go for the next 5 years. The girls are excited to go to a new one today. For 10 years, we went to the same one over and over.
Such a fun time of year! I love these kinds of places! So fun for the littles and the big kids alike. Those baby chicks 🥰
The Baby Chicks is the one thing that is super unique about this place. And we loved how it was only one price for everything. There are so many more to see for us.

@@SantosChronicles and we do it because we love being creative ❤️
Love the comparison from over some years. So many options in Illinois. That dinasour was cool!
Out of all those places, there was only Goebberts that has that pumpkin eating dinosaur. Never gets old.

One of the nicest things about Bengtson’s is that people in wheelchairs and children in strollers have an easy time getting around too!
@ Someone was asking which Pumpkin Patch is good for someone with a wheelchair, now I know. Happy Halloween to you and your family.
hahah, @2:37 that is Carl to a T...cool video bro
Thank you for watching!
Nice video. I like how you jump from one place to the other.
LOL! It was fun visiting all these pumpkin farms. Thanks for watching.

So many pumpkins, so little time!
I agree. I was going to go to one more before making this but I figured it would be better to get this one out now while it is the start of the season.
@@SantosChronicles I’m about to post one, myself!
@@RobbZipp It’s that time.
Who would have thought they had so many pumpkins patches 😎🎃
I know. We spent 10 years going to only 1. And we did 8 in 5 years. Glad I was able to put this together.

You have been missing out. Trust me, it is life changing.
$10-$38 that is quite a range. I was hoping you’d find the Great Pumpkin at one of these places 😂

Yea, it took only 5 years to get all of these pumpkin farms. And you guys might have been a subscriber for almost all of them.
