I’ve been using one of those bad boys for cab bolts for awhile now. Awesome tool for sure.
Very cool tool u got there ARod. Thanks
When you made a bit of space on the back, you could use PB Blaster to ease it off. It would then soak in from the front and the back of the nut. It's a PITA, but doable with patience.
Not here in the rust belt
Very nice tool to have. Especially in areas where torches aren't conducive or.practical
👌
I love my venom! Works as advertised for over 4 years! Buy the long coil kit too!
Got both kits 😉
After using my mini doctor and stripping a few nuts like that I found that I usually got the nut so hot that it galls the crap out of the threads on the way off. I have found that after I get it hot enough to loosen, I leave it alone and let it cool or force cool it with water. Then I spray it with p-b blaster and warm it up again until the p-b starts to bubble and smoke and then I can remove the nut. You may have to do the Heating cooling cycle a few times. Does it work 100% of the time? Nope. Too bad inductive innovations doesn’t make a coil repair kit because only the fabric coating needs to be replaced after you burn them up - and you will burn them up.
W 40b best product for the rust
I still prefer a torch, but it does have it place, gotten me out of a few jams.
As soon as Milwaukee makes that I am in!
Pretty cool!
Yuuup
And the pitch, swing, THERE'S A LONG FLY BALL TO CENTER FIELD, GOING, GOING, AND IT'S OUTA HERE!!!!!!
Cyaaaaaaa 🙌
Good luck 👍
RIP Puma, back to South Africa you go! Sorry it didnt work out for you in the US.
Good riddens poor thing, cherrio
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod You would like the non-EPA version better. Got to play with one in Aruba a few years back. It was a solid little engine.
Wow!!!!!
I’ve been using an inductive heating tool for about 10 years now. I was at a tool show about a year after I bought and I was able to meet the son of the guy who invented it for automotive use. He told me if you twist the leads of the coils a few times it’ll give the tool about 15-20% better performance.
I bet that’s great on the egr removal on the 6.7!
Nope! Those bolts are NON-FEROUS. Cant induce a magnetic field into something thats not magnetic...
I was thinking extension cord needs to be good quality for this level of energy and boom you pulled it out as I was thinking it. What brand are you using? I do all my work in the parking lot at a condo, 100ft away at all times. That in itself sucks (hauling tools out of the basement each time you need to work on her) in addition to the rust here near the Cape Cod bay. Thanks!
I picked up a Ridged one
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Can you get by with a regular one or will it really damage the unit?
Need a good one
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Alright thanks!
If you use it on cab bolts can you use an impact to spin them off? Would that also work on those egr pipe bolts on the 6.7
Cab bolts yes, egr no, they r non ferous....
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I will keep that in mind, Thanks
Hi. My name Dave. I just bought 2015 Ford transit 3.2 diesel. Can you tell me what most common failure for this van. I have like 90k miles already. I know diesel is costly when repairing , thats why i want to prevent every expensive repair. At 90k miles, what should i replace. Thanks
Get rid of it!
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod you mean resell it? I have my brother who is professional mechanic so he may help me out on expensive labor. I have been watching your video and i see so far this kind of engine have problem with egr cooler and DEF tank and sometime the turbo failure too. I already bought the truck and i love the kind of mileage it get. Im getting about 22 mpg average. What else it could fail, i just cant find more information on internet about the failure. Is this van have problem with head gasket. I just bought this van like 2 month and i already put all the equipment in so i just cant sell it now, but if it have serious problem like you said i will consider to resell it. My brother told me the 3.5 engine sometime failure the timing chain too(so if i but the van which is the previous didn't do maintenance well and timing chain broke, and it will cost 5-6k to replace used engine, so that why i bought the diesel one). Thank you for read my long comments
Powerstroketechtalkwarod@gmail.com email me so we can talk on the phone about this...
Change oil and filter 5000 miles get egr deleted , keep check for water lose radiators seam to leak
Do you see transit vans often? And what is the most common problems you get with them?
Yes, they are awful to repair
Gas too?
I hear 3.7 has timing chain issues. Think 3.5 any stronger?
Other way around
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod wow

Have done LOTS of DPFs....hope ur not following the WSM.....
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod No, why?

Thanks and keep those videos coming.
👍🤝👍🤝😎
3.2 worth it? I am looking at a 2019 with 400 miles on it
Run, fast
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod damn'it too late ha. I'm getting a Allstate 150k extended warranty with the service pack.
U BETTER MAKE DAMN SURE WHAT THEY COVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thank you for the advice. It even covers oil changes . I will be only taking to my local ford dealer too ( trust issues)
Good luck breatheren 🙋♂️
Do you have to remove the turbo to get to the crankshaft sensor on a 2015 ford transit 250?
Absolutely not
How did you remove that stud?
Cut it off. Was replacing turbo....got all new parts
what is a transit 'puma'?
The 3.2 liter is called the Puma. They are in a transit....
Its better to spray wd40 on that rusted bolts an hour before executing the job.
Where the F-150 3.0 stuff
Gotta look for it
Inductive heating and a combination of wd40 is more reliable.
Suppose to screw back on with some lubrication then undo not just force it off fool
