Heading Home - Goa to London to Sheffield

- In 2018, I quit my full-time teaching job, gave up my city-centre apartment and all of my possessions, and headed to South East Asia for a year long travel. Following this, I headed back to Europe where I spent a further 3 months in Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia.
I then returned to the UK for what was supposed to be a short stay to catch up with family and friends. Then covid happened.
18 months later, I headed out on what was planned to be a one year long trip around central and eastern Europe. I hadn't planned to include South East Asia and India but that's what happened.
Two years later and I was heading back to the UK. The queen was dead and the country was getting worse by the week, it seemed.
But the travel money was almost done. It was time to return home.

Me too. 5 years ago shipped my books to Romania. Moved some possessions to my Mum's garage. Sold everything else or gave it away. Never looked back!
