Today is Lamborghini day!! Just about half an hour ago, I watched the drag race of all Aventador generations on carwow's channel and now AutotopNL drives this open top Gallardo Performante on the German Autobahn.

Lamborghini's sounds so nice! This wednesday I did a tunnelrun with the Aventador Roadster in Utrecht and made an onboard video of it.
For only 570hp this is fast indeed!

Single clutch transmission that breaks your spine, V10 with few noise restrictions. Cars were still proper then. Only thing missing is a gated manual.

This is also an audi engine. The 5.0 is the lamborghini one
You got it wrong bro. Gallardo and Audi R8 has the same sound while the huracan sounds bit different. Gallardo and R8 share the same FSI engine.

can someone teach me more about hp's connection to top speed? 570 hp seems so low, yet it says it can do 324kmh. shouldnt a 1000hp car easily do 400 then? yet it seems like some 1000hp cars struggle to even beat this 570hp cars' speed.

The influence of speed to the air resistance is squared. That means to go double the speed you need 4 times the power to overcome the air resistance.
(Very basic explanation which is not 100% right but it gives you the right idea ;))

Why didn't you take a manual transmission Gallardo? 😭😭😭 The E-GEARS gearbox is a HORROR, it's even the WORST automatic gearbox in the world (if you can call it an automatic gearbox)
E gears? It's called single clutch transmission
@@azeQify Lambo calls it E-gear for their single clutch automatic like Porsche calls PDK for their DCT.
Simple tune can fix most of the sluggishness
The Gallardo era was when automatics were slow and brutal because they were single-clutch. Today, Lamborghini takes over the DSG gearboxes from Volkswagen double clutch and improves them. That's why when you gotta drive a Gallardo or a Murciélago, you have to choose it with an "old-fashioned" manual gearbox to have better sensations.
Most Aventadors also come with a single clutch gearbox right?
