One of the best in the business, right here.
I agree but i am a little biased.
Awesome... What a great Dad.
Great video too... what kind of phone is that?
Not a phone i shoot all my videos with a Sony HDR-CX190 HandyCam for the last few years. It does pretty good for the buck. BTW Thanks for the doing the Livestream it was excellent !
FUCKIN AWESOME! JON is always a reference point for my drumming ;) since the fuckin beginning
Very cool if you haven't subscribed to my Channel go for it. I have videos from almost every tour from the beginning.
Louie Rice great audio also
This is the product of good parenting. Great work Louie.
Thank you he does all the work.
He is by far one of the best underrated drummers of all time. He hits the set like a Mack truck hitting a wall at full speed. I wish he'd either take over for Inferno in Behemoth or go back to Job For A Cowboy and shred like this for the rest of his life.
Thank you Behemoth was just a fill in gig for Inferno and JFAC is on a Hiatus. He has a lot of other projects he works on. Subscribe to my UA-cam Channel I have videos from almost every project he has played on.
I am not a drummer yet I return to watch these videos over and over again... Insane.
Thank you if you have not subscribed to m UA-cam Channel go ahead. I usually video tape any show he plays within the tri-state area.
This was incredible. I was at this show. Behemoth, and your son, killed it! Thank you very much for posting these; even though I'm a guitarist, I always enjoy watching drummers. It's almost like watching a dance. He was awesome in JFAC and I'm glad to see him filling in for Inferno. Looking forward to seeing jon drum again!
We had a great time.
What a freaking awesome post! A proud dad, to be sure.
I was quite annoyed to miss this tour due to work constraints. Looks like Jon did a hell of a job filling in.
He did I am a little biased but i think he killed it. Check out my UA-cam Channel for more videos of Jon.
I was here front row. I was bummed not to see Inferno, but holy shit, Jon made up for it entirely. Grade A replacement! Well done, sir.
What happened to Inferno?
Chris NZ He had to stay back because his wife was having another baby.
Amazing! He makes it look so easy!
Such talent! Thanks for sharing.
No problem look through my other videos for a lot more drum cam videos.
Sure my lady, he's incredible..
Im enjoyin' it lots.. Thxs for sharing! 🔥✌
No problem glad you enjoyed it. Subscribe to my Channel if you haven't yet I video tape him every time he is on tour.
I went to Knotfest last weekend. Behemoth were amazing. They kicked ass. I went in wanting just to go see Gojira and came out with being in love with Behemoth. They're one of my favorite bands now.
gudalpesanz was it at Mountain View
@@ohyuh6238 No, it was in Dallas, TX. I really wasn't into Behemoth until I saw them live. They're amazing. They definitely paid attention in Judas Priest 101.
gudalpesanz oh
Congratulations from Spain, for both your son and you as a proud father
this guy is amazing¡ killing it¡ respect from Chile
All those hours of sitting through the noise while he practiced was totally worth it haha
I just have to say, your son is an amazing drummer I used to go see him play all the time, I was a big JFAC fan and I am so excited to see this vid of him playing with Behemoth!
Thank you, i usually get to see him on every tour in the US and tape most of them. Check my other videos for a lot of JFAC videos plus everything else he does. Subscribe if you want to see what else comes up.
This guy is awesome.
I agree but i am biased.
Many thanks for the upload, Sir. I was privileged enough to watch Behemoth live in India. Inferno is a heck of a drummer & Jon has filled his shoes admirably.
Thank you
Rice is a monster.
That he is.
I was at this show, and as a huge Behemoth fan I can say that Jon did an incredible job.
Thanks for the input. I thought he killed it but i am a little biased. Ha ha
Wow, he hits harder than Inferno! Awesome drummer You are Jon.
I have heard that a lot on this tour.
Jon Rice um dos melhores baterias slk
Thank you!
He is o ne of my favs!!
Thank you!
The father that every metal drummer kid want to have! Awesome job of your son, I saw him in Reading with JFAC on 2012 and he destroyed everything
Very proud father for sure. I have video taped just about every tour he was on that came close to us.
Well if Inferno ever decides to give up touring, Jon would be an amazing fit. His playing in JFAC as well as fill in for 1349 was incredible.
Thank you he enjoys filling in with these bands.
He's having the best time of his life right now. Absolutely love it. It's truly inspiring.
He is spot on the whole time with how inferno played the song, while adding his own flair to it. Amazing drummer!! You should be proud of him!
Thank you I am very proud. I am a life long drummer and Metal head so seeing him live his dream for the past ten years is great.
+Louie Rice you're a drummer too? That's awesome! Goes to show what practice and dedication can do for people!
Yeah i am a drummer. if you look through my channel there are some Domicile Videos and JJ Grim both bands i was in. Never made it to Jon's level. Ha HA
Most inspiring metal drummer out there. I remember when i saw Jon playing first time in Tuska festival, Helsinki with JFAC. They played an instrumental show.
Thank you
Always enjoy seeing your son great playing...Hailllllll from Surabaya Indonesia
Thank you I enjoy it to fun to watch. Check out my UA-cam Channel for morre of his videos. I shoot him every time he comes near bye.
0:39, "Like I need water to slay. But thanks I appreciate you bringing me some because it's mid summer and I'm in all black clothing. Jon Rice is one of the best in this subgenre
Thank you, his drum tech was awesome. Super nice dude and on top of everything. He is Infernos Tech so he knew every little detail.
Thank you for sharing this. Obviously you are a proud father, as you should be! I grew up in a time when metal was in it's infancy. It had huge stereo types, many of which that it was evil music and the people who listened to it where also an evil stereo type. I love and always will love this music amongst many other types of music. The people with their stereo types of this music will always be closed minded people and will never know the immense talent of the musicians and song writers who make this music.
Thank you, I am 57 and been playing since i was a teenager. I have been a metalhead my whole life. Still am and always will be.
Is it me or is he hitting the drums harder than Inferno? Either way, he's doing an awesome job. Keep it up.
Indeed he hits way harder!
dhanter inferno uses 5B sticks I think. So he doesn't need a lot of motion for the power. Those sticks are heavy
Yes, he hits substantially harder than Inferno - Jon utilizes much more handwork with his sticking which results in higher stick bounce and thus more power. Inferno strains his wrists a lot more to generate hits, so the sticks don't rise as high and don't hit as hard.
I''l wager you Jon uses at least 5B size sticks.. In fact I looked it up, he uses: Vic Firth X5BN
Fucking awesome Dad!! :D
Thank you
Caught one of his drum sticks at this show. Have it framed on my wall with my picks from Slayer and LoG (;
Very nice !
Very hard job. Respect!
Thank you if you want to see other videos check out my UA-cam Channel.
Awesome video!! Jon hits DAMN hard! Great performance
That's my son 😈
im in love
I was at this show - drove 5hrs from Central KY - Jon killed it. Inferno himself couldn't have played a tighter set.
Thank you it was a killer show. I have seen Inferno with Behemoth a few times with Jon's different bands were touring with them. I am slightly biased about my kid. Ha Ha
@@bloodyknuckles63 I saw JFaC (Jon was with them at the time IIRC) Waverly Hills play with Behemoth at Sounds of the Underground in 2007. It was the first time I had heard/seen either band, and both made a huge impression.
@@RikkSpencer We saw that tour in Cleveland. It was a good show Gojira opened for them.
Charn doing work. Keep those chops sharp my dude.
best thing is that he said thank you to the guy who gave him a drink
Have to respect the Drum Tech. He makes everything go smoothly !
Uwielbiam patrzyć jak on gra śliczności 💋💋uwielbiam perkusistów z długimi włosami 😘😘
Thanks for the video, are you also a drummer?
Congrats to your son, he's doing a great job with Behemoth.
I am life long drummer and life long metal head.
glad you got the sweet opportunity jon
slick as heck!!!
Glad John found something after Job. Not sure what happened to Job, but always nice to see a fantastic drummer in another talented and powerful band.
Just filling in for this tour. He is keeping pretty busy though. This was a good gig for him.
Hey Louie
I’m a large fan of your sons drumming and i could not imagine how proud you must be!
Can you tell me what pedals Jon uses?
He uses Trick Pro 1-V Bigfoot Pedal when he is playing the Deathmetal stuff.
Louie Rice great thanks for replying!
I read up online they said Axis but that’s a couple of years ago I imagine...:)
@@littlebear2477 He used axis up till around 2013 and since then has used Trick.
Louie Rice Thankyou 🙏 !!
This is a working man.
Yep that he is.
Always given Jon credit since JFAC \m/ congrats to him
He was just filling in for this tour.
very good ! chilling bro lol
Is it the Yamaha Live custom ?
whats the name of this song?
I was at this show, it was sick as fuck
It was a killer show.
Your sun is awesome, dad! :D
Thanks my friend, proud Pappa here of coarse. If you check out my UA-cam Channel I have videos from almost everyone he has played with.
Godnie zastępuje Inferno :)
what snare is he using? i neeeed it
It is a Yamaha 14x7 Recording Custom Snare in Stainless Steel. It is a great snare I want one also.
Way better than Inferno lol
Thank you I am slightly biased. Ha Ha
hard work on snare drum. more action then brutal
He is good but inferno is the best there's something special about inferno and none can replace him in behemoth band.
Jon is the baddest of ass
Thank you I agree!
10/10 performance !
No offence to Inferno but this guy should be their go to...!!:)
Thank you
That is why he has been the go to when Inferno was not available.
Is he a permanent member now or just filling in?
Just filling in for this tour.
0:36 "Thanks Adam, but you didn't open it..."
Ha Ha Adam was awesome. Good dude and great at what he does.
@@bloodyknuckles63 Mr. Rice, Adam in action. Cheers. ua-cam.com/video/A92uJ9SwmM0/v-deo.html
@@sxuperion No i have not seen that and it is awesome. Thanks for sharing it.
Where is inferno?
He is home waiting for the birth of his second child.
woww 666 subs. i’ll keep it like that
Jesus, he just use a Hammer force on each hand
Yes he does! Check out my UA-cam Channel for videos of him from most every project he has played in.

My like is 666 😈

as a huge behemoth fan... i like john rice more than inferno, hes got better dynamics, and more energy than inferno. and ive seen behemoth ALOT since 2007.
Thanks for the compliment. I am a little biased in my opinion.
Way better than inferno...if im honest
Thank you
If you have not subscribed to my UA-cam Channel I post videos every time i see him play.
No one is mentioning this, but he's skips higher division patterns like in the beginning ride segment, and his time isn't that great, he's too fast. Other than that, it's a good drum cover.
Oh Zee Every song except for conquer all is to a click track, including this one. I did goof one phrase on the ride though
Annoying
