Beautiful views today. Good little acclimation hike. You are doing great 👍 Your plan is coming along nicely. Keep going forward with determination, attitude and confidence.
Yep, that's Heidi in the thumbnail. 😀 I knew you'd walk that meditation circle. Hard to observe logistics via video, but you seemed to be doing well when you reached the 2nd mine. That watch is awesome; love all the stats and graphs. Majestic mountains. 😊✌️
I was hoping to add Leadville and Mt Elbert onto the end of a 5 day backpacking trip on the CT, but weather was bad so chose to go home a day earlier. It looks like a great place to visit.
Yay! You look re-energized and fully recovered from the earlier bouts of altitude sickness ❤. Does the CORA watch provide any VO2 max data? High altitude coupled with 1300+ elevation gain would explain the 176 BPM at the start of the hike, but whew, that is a bit high. Honestly do not know how they run the Leadville 100 at that altitude, but anyway, I’m so thrilled you’re feeling better and can’t wait to see the gear video👍.
Looks like you've acclimated to the higher elevations. The only way to stem altitude sickness, once it becomes evident, is to get to a lower elevation. You did that, going down to about 7,000 feet for a day or two - now your body is ready to go back to the heights, but remember - try to camp at a lower elevation than you reached during the day(about a thousand feet lower, if possible). That way, the next day it will be much easier to ascend to greater elevation. Be well, stay safe. 🥾
Great views. Colorado is so expansive. The distances between the sides of valley slope look so wide and since much of your climb is above tree line so rocky. I guess that last part seems stupid being you are in the Rockies… ha, ha. What gear do you use for your car camping setup? ❤😊
So excellent to see Heidi back in the mountains! 🌸🧡 ⛰️

I enjoy your videos
That Coros watch is going to be really useful.
Morning 😊
If getting an accurate HR is important you should get the HR Monitor arm band. The wrist HR can be very inaccurate.
What model is that watch?
What watch do you have?

Could you tell me the Arcteryx rain jacket and outer shell you used? Thanks. Good luck on your section.
What watch are you using?
I love the views, and agree that the cafe is so lovely. Do you have a mic? It’s hard to hear you sometimes 😊
I have one of these watches, not that brand but a Garmin, believe that recovery time! So, you can see that you need more training!
i droned the hell out of that place ENJOY .
Curious what is your normal heart rate?
