@@raptorm8242 exactly the game is fun because you never know what's gonna happen. Sometimes you meet cool people, sometimes you run into people just pvping for no reason. When you realize how expendable money is, the goal is simply just to play the game and have fun. If you play the game for a few days and realize it would take months to get a flying car then cry about it, well the games not for you. There are thousands of things to spend your money on. Play the game the way you enjoy it. Personally I just play for customizing my cars and getting my garages full. With that said, I've spent 20 dollars on the game for microtransactions in 5 years of playing, and got the game for 15 bucks. I have armored vehicles, helicopters, planes, every business, several huge garages, a penthouse at the casino, and an arcade. The key is to never allow yourself to care too much about making millions. As soon as you stop playing the game for fun and start grinding warehouse missions and gunrunning etc. You get into the grind Rockstar has designed to make people feel like they need to pay in order to progress in a satisfying rate, and the game just switches into a chore

When this 1st came out, there was a money hack going rampant. Some rando gave me a Trillion bucks and I went on a spending spree cus I knew they were going to patch and take the dirty money. They did. But I had bought everything I could at that time. But now there is litterly like 100× more stuff available now.
Same happened to me on xbox 360; got three trillion. I switched to the ps4 version and the money stayed until the next patch. Stuff I bought never was taken though. Until recently last year, guess they caught up to me?🤣
Idk why they can't move over the Online stuff to Single Player. I literally never played the online but I like driving around and buying cars in single player. But the options are so damn limited. I just wish they atleast moved over the buying a house and ceo stuff to single player.
I think they want to get you online because that's where you awe at everyone else's cool flying machines and want to buy one instantly with $ yourself. Just a theory
Or at least make GTA Online single player friendly. Honestly, the main reason why I'd go to RDR Online before GTA Online is because it's more single player friendly. Of course it's often you'll find those one or two individuals who find it humorous to shoot random people, but at least for the most part you can get things done unbothered. With GTA it's fairly difficult since they mark everyone's radar with your location to ensure someone is chasing you even outside missions. In RDR is a bit more difficult to be a dick since there are horses instead of fighter jets and oppressors. However I'm not going to wish for them to consider the single player community because they didn't care before and definitely will not start now. I just know that unless I get a dedicated group that likes playing it, I'm not playing that shit again lol.

it takes like a day to make enough money to buy an apartment, and a week at best to complete all the Lester heists in order to make like 4mill or something, which is enough money to buy a submarine which provides you access to a heist that takes half an hour to setup and 20 minutes AT BEST to complete, giving ~1.5mill to 2mill each time. stfu with these sob stories about the "repetitive and grindy" nature of gta, you literally just need to invest like a few hours in a day to be able to buy anything you want/need, like any other open-world game with a decent progression system
I remember back in 2013 when I was 14 years old that everyone and their mother went out and bought this game and I wanted to wait for the PC release. But after 3 months or so I bought the game for PS3 and not much later I got the game with the PS4. Here I am now 21 years old with the PC release and this video made me think how far GTAV has come since its release.

I’ve played since pc release....lots hours clocked, though i can see becoming bored quick if you beg for cheatercash/glitch for money and quit before even really getting in the game.
That’s why whenever I get bored of grinding, I either take out the speedo custom with the minigun, or the halftrack (which I fortunately won through the lucky wheel). Rampage? Fun. Rampage with friends trying to get into fort zancudo without actual explosives? Heck yeah.
"There are hoverboards, weird vehicles, other players running around the city and shooting you down, but it's worth it!" No, on the contrary that's the worst part. It really breaks the immersion for me, that's why i can't play MMOs and other multiplayer games, cause all of these jumping idiots in clown costumes doing different weird emojis. No thanks, i choose singleplayer
There's always passive mode, if you can't handle freemode. I'm barely in freemode, i'm usually doing a heist or mission. If you have to sell stock, just wait for the freemode session to kick all, meaning you're alone in a solo public session. Or you can make your own solo public session with a trick.Honestly the whole "freemode oppressors are why i hate GTA" is a weak statement. But... you guys are whiney lazy millennials after all.
I played the Offline mode on my Xbox 360 and never bothered buying it for my Xbox One. Until a few weeks ago. I bought GTA V in 2020 purely for the online mode because my friends still played it. I bought a bundle which included a bunker, bank, apartment some vehicles really a few millions worth of stuff. And now I really enjoy this game. But you do need to have friends that play it too if you want to have the most fun with it. The only thing that really annoys me is the outrageous amount of money everything cost. Like a 400K Honda Civic who isn't that fast. And the try-hard players that keep killing you every minute like their life depends on it.

I have a lot of good memories, but I don't think I'll ever play the game again because none of my friends do and all the new content isn't what I would consider fun. It's a shame what became of GTA online really...
repeat after me: "Hey google... how to avoid GTA griefers", "Hey google... how to make money in GTA online", "Hey google... how to shorten load times GTA online".... it's that easy.
If the loading isent 90% faster with it's loading screens I'm out period I have gta 5 for my 360 and Xbox one x. Loading screens completely ruin the experience and flow
Also the matchmaking is a joke for heists waiting hours for a 4 player squad and to just restart because one always leaves after one fail or before the mission even starts
Griefing is one of the worst things in gaming and the argument who defend those actions often are "it's just a game" is so ridiculous. I put hours into game, it's a hobby, i don't even have time to play that much anymore (job, chores, pets) and some asshole with too much free time just goes and wrecks my all progress for the lols. As Karen as it sounds, I think serious legal action should be taken against people who mod/ hack the games, because thousands of people pay for the game/ service only for it to be broken into. Of course dev companies have to take responsibility, but I think big responsibilities lies with law changes regarding it, since most of those people just get banned for few days and that's it. They should get fined in rl for distrupting service, maybe they will think twice.

I can't get into it because the match making takes too long and server loading takes eternity to load. And when it does I hardly have a good time, there's a reason I only play free to play competitive multiplayers that takes a minute to match make or arpgs/mmos since you play pretty much on your own just in an online environment. But paying/playing an AAA game just for the multiplayer never interested me, Single player is more worth my money when it comes to AAA games.

Cons: Oppressor Mark 2, griefers, modders who grief, Oppressor Mark 2, Oppressor Mark 2, and the Oppressor Mark 2. Oh, and shark cards too plus grinding depending on if you like it or not. Finally, modders who drop a ton of money on you getting you banned. Edit: long loading times, servers can be bad, people leaving heists, having to buy a facility to store a vehicle. You want a mobile operations center that costs $1,225,000 not including upgrades? Well then you have to buy a bunker costing $1,165,000 without upgrades, and that is the cheapest bunker. This totals to a cost of $2,390,000 at least with buying the cheapest everything without upgrades. This can equal a close to 10 hours if you are unlucky or even more. Plus the time you spend having to restart missions due to griefers. Questionable: The casino. Gambling in a game that a lot of underage kids play? I know GTA has an age limit of 18, but does that stop anyone from playing? You just enter a fake birthday. Pros: Comes with a moddable single player.
The casino heist has pretty much for me mitigated the grind. Since the setups are now on freemode, can be done solo (better with friends) go 50/50 on a heist, 3 different approaches (which effects setups too), the option to do the least amount of setups, choosing choice of Crew etc. You could grind the heist and at minimum make 1 mil for every 2 hour game session.
When the game came out I was in year 6-7 playing it on the ps3, then on PS4 and now on PC and now finished college still playing. This game has been in a good chunk of my life and still loving it.
You can get into solo games and grind for money really easily by yourself or with friends just by hitting find new session until youre in an empty lobby. Makes things waaaaaaay more easier and fun
I remember I would hop on GTA5 when my grandma would come over to my house when my parents would leave for work. I wasn't allowed to play m rated games. I had such a great time. I still play but it's no where near as fun as before. Rockstar is taking way too long for GTA VI
Only positive about it is heist contents, the rest is meh. I still remember people requesting lowriders and yachts which flopped in a month after release because majority of people dont use them anymore. Those type of stuffs should've been in singleplayer as well, but Rockstar is punishing people who try to get those stuffs in singleplayer by despawning them when they enter in which modders had to take a week to figure it out how to disable that tool they added in the game. They plagiarized other games and turned Online into full Saints Row 3-4 instead of being serious than being 100% silly (which is how Saints Row franchise died after 4th one, 3rd one was just small progress into abomination like Online was with contents after 2 years (2013-2015)).
GTA online is the type of game that makes you spend the millions it made you earn on one thing then make you pay to use that thing you bought so you can earn the money back and continue the cycle
One thing about GTA online that I realized is that because of the potential of doing so much they should definitely widen the scope of the world and make the map multinational to some extent. I think making a sequel to Vice City in the 80's would be fun, with three different locations. Vice City and the what would essentially be the Keys, another island that is basically Cuba, and another island that is basically Columbia. It would be great, and the world would fill big enough that it makes sense there is so much to do in it.
I remember when GTA online first came out and my friend and I did the car selling glitch and made about 80 million between us. Our accounts never got banned fortunately, but it definitely made the game more fun. Except for the fact that I only have a few hundred thousand left, lol.
Dafuq did you spend it on lol I grind but only when I want something, me and my buddy did the bogdan glitch until being able to afford businesses and grind but other than that...

@@raptorm8242 exactly the game is fun because you never know what's gonna happen. Sometimes you meet cool people, sometimes you run into people just pvping for no reason. It's a fucking game where you go on mad rampage style killing sprees and try to get the fucking army after you just for giggles. It's not an MMO people, you don't HAVE to grind. I don't grind the game either, I play every so often with my friends and it's fun. If you don't enjoy it it's just not for you.

R* doesnt give a shit only thing they want is make you buy some shark cards
They want you to buy those shark cards everything online is crazy expensive
I just know that unless I get a dedicated group that likes playing it, I'm not playing that shit again lol.

seRap¡s he is talking about micro-transactions which in itself isnt gambling, lootboxes are tho and i think he got them mixed up
Hes talking about how gambling (blackjack etc at the casino) is illegal in other countries. Example: South Africa has a law on online gambling. This means when people there try and gamble there it wont allow them
Tarq your gambling with npc
I still remember playing GTA 1 back in high school 1997. It's come a looong way, I am now 40. Omg I cant believe I am that old.
"GTA Online launched a week after GTA V came out"
Yeah, but wasnt actually playable until much later.
Who cares
Nov. Or dec after launch
@@Medoosa69420 it had a boatload of problems, servers had so many people trying to play right out the gate that they crashed, and it took about a week to get into my first game..
@@mrnigga3429 I mean.. You cared enough to watch this video, read the comments, and reply.. soooo. You do I guess. Lol
@@sqwidd445 Really? That's pathetic considering this game has peer-to-peer networking. The "servers" literally only handle matchmaking if anything.
I’ve put so many freakin’ hours into this game. I’m a level 660 odd. I’ve slowed down though of late and just jump on it every now and then but it is so much fun with so much content. If you amazingly haven’t already played it then you are missing out
I can't get into it because the match making takes too long and server loading takes eternity to load.
@@fatezero8662 buy an ssd
@@tintschi2049 it's installed on an ssd. This is more on the server if anything. Our internet is stable so this is most likely on where I live which is in SEA.
@@fatezero8662 well that sucks..
Yea I’m a rank 290 with every business in the game except weed, and the most expensive yacht you could grind for
Cons:
Oppressor Mark 2, griefers, modders who grief, Oppressor Mark 2, Oppressor Mark 2, and the Oppressor Mark 2.
Pros?
Lul.
I think you forgot the Oppressor Mark 2
buddy you forgot about the opressor mark 2
Biggest cons are loading screens and servers
Don't forget the flying car
The casino heist has pretty much for me mitigated the grind. Since the setups are now on freemode, can be done solo (better with friends) go 50/50 on a heist, 3 different approaches (which effects setups too), the option to do the least amount of setups, choosing choice of Crew etc. You could grind the heist and at minimum make 1 mil for every 2 hour game session.
I remember playing this with my friends from 2016-2018. Good times
When the game came out I was in year 6-7 playing it on the ps3, then on PS4 and now on PC and now finished college still playing. This game has been in a good chunk of my life and still loving it.
madting
I wanted to like playing this game. But it's waay too toxic. It's worthless
You can get into solo games and grind for money really easily by yourself or with friends just by hitting find new session until youre in an empty lobby. Makes things waaaaaaay more easier and fun
Double A Battery that’s wat ive been doing

GTA Online: The game that I love and hate.
It has so many loading screens I found impossible playing it even with a SSD and 100mb conection
I installed on my SSD uninstalled decided it's not worth the space on my SSD for saving like 10 seconds on a 2 minute wait
god damn, u get 100mbps, whos ur provider?
iJamie8467x seriously dude this is the only game where an ssd doesnt make a huge difference. I thought it was just me haha
..
Its running on a 7 year old engine and the servers are also bad. So nothing can be done to improve load times.
@@DJ-rf9yq I have not clue, I let my brother play my account when I went off to college and I came back one summer to 500k left. LOL
@@Yarsig that sucks man but you do Know about the bogdan glitch right? You can get 1 million every 10-15 minutes if you efficient doing the mission
Jake: That's right, you read that right.
Me: where's the text? What did I read?
This is a truly amazing game, if only the player base is not mostly 12 years old and it doesn't take forever to load even on ssd!
Man I remember the launch, this game will forever be in my heart regardless of the toxic side that comes with it, I have too many memories with it, I wish they did overhauls and upgraded so much to offer new players something amazing to grasp while also offering the og's something new that gives it that spark. all the way from Xbox 360, to PC, I enjoy the game and can only hope they deliver much better content. personally wish they made private servers more enjoyable like doing lobby work in them for the fact that PC is full of a bunch of hackers who have no other intention but to ruin someone's day but, even with that, I still love the game and I don't think there is a year I could list where I didn't play it.
