I lived in Redwood City from 1952 to 1971. Happy childhood memories!! The only thing familiar in this tour is Fox Theater and the street names. Everything that grows, changes. And Redwood City has certainly grown and changed. My love for this town has not!

I lived here for 15 years , then i moved to San Carlos the town right next to it. I consider Redwood home in a way . Cheers, there is another part of downtown that you could have shown as well , the Milagros side .
may be relocating here from Madison WI by oct 1. lived in san diego for 5 years before this. eager as hell to get back to Cali! pray a job offer comes for the role here in Redwood City 🙏. this place looks fantastic. climate a given .
Redwood City is centrally located in the Bay Area and it has become a great public transport hub with easy access to trains. Make sure you ask for a strong salary as it's super expensive to live in the Bay Area. Our rents have dropped slightly but a 2 bedroom apartment in Redwood City is still around $3,200 in a safe neighborhood. Also do some research as to where "not to live" in RWC as it has some sketchy areas that aren't the safest.

The reason Redwood City is the county seat and not San Mateo is the result of a 19th century race to the state capitol.
