I finally got to check out the new map, and play as the new survivor Jill against the Nemesis. Have to say he can be pretty scary to go against, especially when he runs his perk where you become oblivious when wounded. Nothing like a big lumbering mutant chasing you down with no heartbeat haha.

Whenever I played DbD, I sucked at running away as a survivor. Mainly because I was extremely good at hiding and skulking about the map. It was to the point where if I was chased, I was probably going down

Its like the devs did a proper RE cross over.... Not like D2 Dev's.....
Meh. I'd say it's moderately adequate. Nemesis's model really bugs me. Like all his muscles are only in the upper half. He looks tall and slim. And that material of his texture... Feels off for some reason. Like it has different shaders or unfinished. Like a chineese knock of action figure. But I like the survivor's part. Especially perks. Don't know about breaking DBD's style, but crossover vise they are excellent.
UPD And why Nemesis smears some blue shit all over survivors? Did he put his tentacle in a bio toilet or smth?
@@Blackraven6 The only thing that completely breaks DBD's style is the trickster, if anything he looks like a character from Cyberpunk 2077.
Nemesis skipped leg day and I want a meatier whack on the punch. Outside of that and some changes to the new map, this seems pretty dang good.

God RPD has me terrified that a licker is gonna jump out. Dope map tho I hate how accurate it is to RE2 remake. Incredible job by dbd devs

WOW, this Police Station map is INCREDIBLE. It's EXACTLY like the RE2 remake. It's the only map in the game I'm going to know by heart. What a great job the devs did on this.

If you've played the remake, you might easily navigate the new map.
He did, but only the Claire playthrough, so he doesn't have the best memory of the RPD.

The racoon police station map is an exact replica of the resident evil map but dam they did an impressive job making slight changes
I'm waiting for the Cenobytes (Pinhead) and Kirsten to be added to DBD.
Who's Kirsten?
Pinhead & Kirsten was always a good fit for DbD. The asthetic of the killers basement on most maps look like Kirtens attic when the box is opened. The blood, chains, & gothic lighting through the cracked walls & hook mechanic. The entity kinda reminds me of the leviathan with a Stephen King twist & intertwining the lore would be fun. Maybe have the hellmaze from part 2 be a map? Plus Kirstens a underated survivor girl, who's adept to surviving lovecraftian purgatorys more than anyone

With the Nemisis now, you might have to throw pallets early because they got the incentive to step back, just make sure you don't get whipped because if you do, then you might of wasted the pallet.

Given that this map is basically 99% a 1 to 1 scaled replica of the Raccoon City Police Station from RE2R/RE3R, do you think that those who have played those two games before have an advantage as survivor on this map? For example, when you got stuck in a dead end, I knew exactly what room you were going into and knew it was a dead end before you even when in there because I've seen this location so many times from watching playthroughs. It seems like a very very very heavy advantage for survivors who have played the games, though I suppose the same could be said for the killers. It seems like it would be very easy to run away and get away from the killers if you know the map like the back of your hand already.
Either way I'm extremely impressed and extremely proud of the dev team for using this level of detail. Absolute legends.

What if the blocked off stair way is actually part two of this map. Like idk if that makes sense. But there’s two maps. This one has an outside and the other one is all indoor and you get that last level to explore.
