I wish you had a 'fundamentals' playlist. I like these how-to videos best.
I just become the queen of braids at office thanks to you!
Get it girl!
Didn't think I could get the hang of it , but half an hour for such a classy AND practical Dutch braid is more than worth it. Thank you soooooo much for your hard work.
Another tip while you're learning would be to use those tiny clear elastics to hold each of the 5 sections in place while you braid. Then you can just cut them off when you finish.
Good suggestion!
rchiariello late but good thinking
I find all your tutorials really easy to understand, making any hairstyle easy to make !! You're my fav hair related channel ! ❤️☺️
4 strand-braid is easy for me but 5 is quite the challenge! But I guess practise does make perfect so thanks for the explanation! I love your tutors et your gorgeous hair
I'm really digging this 12 days of braids idea🎀 thanks for yet another amazing tutorial😘
So glad you like it!
Congratulations. I've never watched tutorials as good as yours. Keep doing it. It's very helpful and didatic ;)
Aww thanks so much!
Wow, this is impressive! I really like your hair tutorials, they are clear and easy to follow, so thanks for doing them! :) Also, you have amazing hair!!
I can already feel the pain in my fingers developing.
You are amazingly talented on giving verbal instructions that are easy to follow! Thank you so much for posting this!
Thank you! I only knew the transverse style, and I couldn’t figure out how to Dutch braid five strands.
It's been that easy this whole time?! Thank you for an awesome tutorial ^_^
You're welcome!
So happy to have found your channel....you gave me the encouragement to try a 5 strand! I cant believe i did it on my first try, that is all because your tutorial was so easy to follow. You give clear steps and it really helps when you pause the steps too. I cant wait to try out your other tutorials now. Happy New Year xx
Happy New Year to you too!
You are an amazing teacher! I haven't had this much fun playing with my hair in years (or this much arm exercise!)
I do have trouble switching my grip when I go from behind my head to over my shoulder My hair is about waist length so I usually start braids from a pony tail and bring the end over my shoulder to finish. Any advice?
You are too amazing doing different style of braid. Wow 😱.
I tried the Dutch 5 strand braid on my friend and it looked amazing!
You are sooo good! Thank you!
wow, this is awesome!
This is amazing:)
I feel like maybe I should start with braiding some 5 random strands to familirize myself with how to hold hands and handle all 5 of them before moving onto actual hair.
Thank you so much for this video!
RockSashka13 yeah I was thinking that too! Like yarn or an old tee shirt cut up or something.
That would definitely help!
very. good
very good and very nice
But how do you transition from behind the head to over the shoulder? I can do the dutch braid part no problem, but I lose the strands when I try to pull it around to the side. Usually, I just reform them into 3 strands and just braid it normally the rest of the way, because that part's always bunned up and no one notices. But what if I want it to be nice all the way down?
Dunno if this is just a me problem, but: loving the braid--however, within a couple hours, my 4 & 5 parts curl over each other rather than lay flat. How do you counter that? When I braid any of my friends' shorter hair, it stays. But with my own hair, past waist length, it folds over itself. Tips?
Yeah, that tends to happen when the braid is really tight - which is more likely to be the case in long hair, because the weight pulls it all tight, or at least hair that is really long relative to how thick it is. I've found that keeping the braid looser or adding in extensions for more thickness helps me.
4 strand, 5 strand...how many strands is the largest number of strands that make a decent braid?
well then....
I mow know what you mean when you said ramp up the difficulty
Wow...that was so basic. I was really expecting something more intricate and complex.
*PLEASE note the sarcasm
I know a guy who can do 9 strand braids. Not on himself, only seen him do them on his wife...but still...his wife's hair isn't that thick....
very good and very nice
