Maybe your too beat up, maybe too fxxxked up! But cooll super fun epic!!... majestic
Touching another man's equipment is like touching another man's girl. It's unforgivable, and a good way to get your ass kicked.
you never mow another man's lawn! 🤣
Yessir. Propane and propane accessories are more meaningful to a man than his of offspring. Don’t touch my grill unless you wanna die.
More like touching another man's genitals, but yeah, unacceptable (unless you're invited).
Even the asteroid that got blown up in Armageddon was sick of Aerosmith
They got tired of hearing their broadcasts into space
My ex girlfriend loved that dam song, I hated it lol
👍🤣👍
😂
😆 facts I swear the year that fkn song came out it was on the radio everytime I listened to it and on multiple stations
The way Rush treated Perry and what Lee said to him has to be the most Canadian way to slight someone I've ever heard 😆
Yeah I thought so too! Low key burn!
Punch him in his nose, and then say I’m sory…lol
@@fl00d69 Guilt trip, for sure.
Someone once described Steven Tyler as a piece of beef jerky that went through the rock tumbler. I couldn't agree more.
Google that dude's toes & get a bark bag ready.
That's great smoke crack.
How do ya know you've never met him, lol😈
Anyone remember the Saturday night live fake commercial for a new Aerosmith album, including such hits as “Crazy”, “Amazing”, “Crazy Amazing” and Amazing Crazy”
Crazy Amazing Crying
@@EnigmaticDecay
Don’t forget amazing crazy crying and crying crazy amazing!
Angel Baby Crazy Cryin'!!!
They did the same thing to STP when they opened for them during the ShangriLa Dee Da tour. It was weird seeing STP playing an indoor sports arena with minimal lighting, the stage looking pretty much like it does when the house turns the lights back on after a concert has finished. The sound was meh, and Aerosmith's gear was sitting behind them. You could tell that STP put on a great performance despite the restrictions initially diminishing their presence, because the sound and lighting crew started showing them some love towards the end of their set. Seeing these Aerosmith videos, that explains what I witnessed...
Who is STP? STP =.....?
@@brimans3092 stone temple pilots
@@ioncewasmikey ahhh thanks
Saw that tour in December 2001 with The Cult opening for Aerosmith. I can see why there was not enough room in the arena for those egos. That was my fourth time seeing The Cult and the one and only time to see Aerosmith. Great concert.
See the Kansas documentary " Miracles Out Of Nowhere" and Kansas member Kerry Livgren's autobiography " Seeds Of Change" for more details about Kansas and Aerosmith clashing
I remember hearing the story of Aerosmith and Kansas from the Kansas documentary - Miracles out of Nowhere. Great Doc.
I'm happy to see Kansas in one of your vids. I grew up in Kansas and went to school with Cary Livgren's son. I love the band for their music, and because it's a few good memories from home.
3:40 as a massive Cult fan that quote is so true. Their career downfall is explained perfectly
Matt loves to trash the singers of the bands that he was in!
RUSH the best 🤗🤗🤗
Fuck yeah!
Rush was a cool band
Rush is so much more quality than Aerosmith
Always HAS BEEN....................forever WILL BE!!!
It's not even comparable. Rush is 10 times the band that Aerosmith is ,ever was or ever could be. Long live Rush!
I've read some people say the same when they saw them open for KISS. Outplayed. That workshop go over well with Gene and Paul, with thier massive egos.
The audio cuts and says "i Doubt geddy's word" when the line is "I don't doubt geddy's word". Just a heads up, 1:46-1:48
I noticed that as well.
@@dorerd Me, as well.
Yeah we didn't really enjoyed touring with Aerosmith either. Most of the guys were okay, however there comes a point after you make it and have your success you just have to let the BS go as far as ego and what not. however some folks seem to adopt a sense of entitlement after achieving success, and ironically stops them from growing any further and instead of turning into a final wine sometimes they sour like vinegar.
To the guy narrating these:
PAUSE BETWEEN PARAGRAPHS!
It ceases to make sense if you don't. It's not like you have to cut these super short stories for time. In fact, you could easily flesh them out some more with a little research, etc.
Of you don’t…… check your grammar before u make a statement like that’ just saying ✌️
@@thrashinwebster fuck offff... You clearly knew what I meant. If pointing out a simple typo on a UA-cam comment makes you feel good you need to get out more. Fucking pedant.
And what's with the extra apostrophe, btw?
I read a while ago that in about 74 that Queen and Aerosmith got into it about going on first..... Please look into it!
Has this channel ever done a video about the time Axl Rose vacated the building in the middle of a show on the Metallica tour, and the fans rioted and tore apart the entire arena? If not, they should.
Me & my friend got tickets to see the Cult open for Aerosmith in Chicago at The Allstate arena that year in 2001. They were good & when Aerosmith went on we walked down to the area where The cult guitarist Billy Duffy was & he was B.Sing with a couple members of Hells Angels . He stopped to talk to us. Cool dude🤘🎶
Everyone's jumping Steven Tyler's shit now 😆
At 1:48 you misquoted and forgot “don’t “ which changes the quote to it’s opposite
Egos ruin the world.
Great video.
Do one on GWAR
@@sstaners1234 there so many crazy stories about GWAR and Dave Brockie. The cops stole Oderus' p*nis!
Love Aerosmith, Rush, The Cult and Kansas!
Rushes big gimmick early on was Extra loud stage shows and having the best sound equipment.. Turning down their volume directly inhibits their stage show act.
I had no idea Kansas and Aerosmith toured together
I like Steven Tyler's voice because Steven Tyler looks like a beautiful cat.
It's a unspoken rule that if you touch someone's stuff without permission you get dropped. It's so sad to hear sabotage in a professional environment. The days of backyard gigs are over. You're too told to be acting like this.
Pranks between headliners and openers happen all the time, I saw the Foo Fighters dump ping pong balls, glitter and spaghetti on Chad for a solid 3 minutes
@@robpaxson4455 that's a joke though what Tyler did was sabotage
@@rootfish2671 except the guys in Kansas didn’t seem super upset
@@robpaxson4455 still intentional sabotage even if Kansas didn't care
This was long ago. It's not like it was recently.
Say what you want, I don’t even listen to Aerosmith. I’m a musician, seen a ton of shows. Aerosmith is by far the greatest show I’ve ever seen. Given that was about 18 years ago, still blows my mind
How insecure do you have to be to sabotage the band opening for you?
Alot lol
Bro they even tried to sabotage jimmy page when he was on stage with them.
Imagine being so insecure you want an opening band on your tour to not do well. It makes no sense. People talk and if the entire concert rocked then that is a bonus for everyone involved. Unreal.
Support bands on tours is business not love unless it's alt rock scene. Mainstream.. You gotta pay to play.. usually record company loans it.. Then the headline act won't want the support act going down better.. And so the PA amps are turned down at the amps hidden away and protected by sound man.
It makes no sense to act like that wouldn’t you want your fans to enjoy an all around good show from the opener to the encore
Unprofessional bozos on drugs.
It makes sense when you realize they have the egos of gods and they can’t have their fans finding new acts that put on better shows than they do
It's rock n roll paranoia.. Not sense!
@@ryanespinoza7297 You can still dig the opener, also, and not like the headliner any less.
Why would you be pissed that Rush is better than you? I'd be happy knowing I was good enough to play on the same stage as Rush.
I love both bands, and that is a very interesting angle.
Perry had no recollection of touring with Rush? He's either lying or was using way too much blow.
They didn't call him one of the Toxic Twins for nothing, so it doesn't surprise me
@@cboswall I assume he was pretty much off his ass back then, to the point of it being the norm.
I believe Perry had no recollection of touring with Rush. Drugs and alcohol will do that. The way Aerosmith consumed that stuff in the 70s, people around them wondered if the guys in the band would live to be 30 years old.
WTF that’s how they act towards each other
back in the day i dug the Cult's music, especiallt Electric i saw them a couple times as openers and both times Ian's vocals were so horrible i just couldn't take it...people make fun of Vince Neil and rightfully so but man Ian was wretched at least he was both times i saw them.
Guarantee Steven wouldn’t have tried this with Axl Rose, or other hot heads in the industry.
I'd hate to tour with Kansas. Imagine hearing Dust in the Wind every night 🤮
Beats listening to "long tin lizzy"
@@michaell6807 fair enough
They were notoriously loaded on drugs back in the day. Quite a reputation. That’ll do it to ya.
Rush upstaged Aerosmith? Never! 🤭
Rush should be honored to even open for Aerosmith lol
Hell, all these other bands had to do was throw some Peruvian marching dust at Steven Tyler and they could've done whatever they wanted.
Tyler has a resistance
Seen Aerosmith open for
Ted nugent in the early 70s. Aerosmith blew away Ted I never bought another nugent album ever again..
you mentioned Rush was a Canadian based band.
there another Canadian rocker that I absolutely
love. maybe do a video on Tom Cochrane? he's in
my short list of favorite rockers. (number 1 if we
just pick from Canada's best.)
Sounds like Aerosmith was nice to the Cult, no?
No disclaimer
Lead singers…
I used to idolize ST as a kid. It’s disappointing to see what a jerk he is irl.
He’s not at all
This was back when he was a heavy doper.
@@SamSitar99 Exactly.
Would like to see your content veer away from "people that hated..." and "downfall of..." and "tragic end of..." type videos. I hope youre not in a bad place and not sliding into clickbait titles either. Havent been watching for a minute cuz Im not feeling the capitalizing on negativity angle youve been doing. Generally like your channel though. Hope youre alright.
Why that jerk have a beautiful daughter? Gods is unfair!
Aerosmith should have been the support band for the Cult .
Rock bands are such crybabies.
I've come to the conclusion that Steven Tyler is a POS. And that saddens me. They used to be one of my favorite bands.
I'm not sure if Tyler looks like a lez, or a Drag Queen. lol
How about a story about people who liked Aerosmith? Just kidding......
Aerosmith is terrible
Are not.
They should of just stopped after "Rocks" (1976) rather than run the gauntlet of putting out one inferior album after another.
One of the most overrated rock bands of all time. meh
IKR? I find their music merely OK
@@rootfish2671 the best critique of their music was the SNL skit with Adam Sandler doing a medley of all their early 90s songs "Crazy, Amazing, Crying". That says it all.
Not overrated.
The one time I saw Aerosmith they had a terrible show. Opening act Jackyl were far, far better.
Saw them twice. Ruled both times.
Steven Tyler an Ahole? NO WAY 🤣
you dont have to be in a band to hate aerosmith
Oooooookay.
Never liked Aerosmith
Your option. I do like Aerosmith.
