Thanks for explaining all of this. I get tired of explaining this to people sometimes. It's like taking to a wall sometimes or it's all Chinese to them. Now I can refer them to this video. Thanks Travis

I am glad you said to use a dedicated air hose as 50' seems best. My wall mounted copper air line gets a filter for everything as water comes out my air ratchet does feel good. You need to oil your tools more often and still risk a shorter life. That pressure of 35 psi drops as it passes thru the gun, resulting in 10 psi at the cap as recommend. Great informative video.

@@SYLVESTERSCUSTOMS I didn't have real family to work with growing up. I dad farm chores and built fence and more. They carved up property, 800+ acres, a house with buildings to my little brother and I got nothing. Maybe I should have left the farm at 15, because my brothers & stepfather had to work. It's a cruel world out there as I was discouraged from buying fixing things & buying motorcycles at 9. I told them that doing wheelies was practice for flat front tire on gravel roads. I wonder if any family are around after 49 years?

When your company paying paint ,you will use Sata and Devilbis with explanation that it it is fast and god guns. When you paying paint from your pocket Iwata all the way! When i switch from sata 2000 to Iwata w 400 about 23 years ago it was like switching from medivel mace to japanese katana.Light, precise, saving air and paint, control for blending. And yes, you need separate gun for base coat(separate base coat gun for solid colours would be nice,to avoid metalic flake residue),gun for clear coat, gun for blending agent, and that's only for painting!

Having a separate gun is not necessary if you don’t have the funds though.

Another great Video , I want to add this, when I was spraying 10 cars a day in the 70’s my go to gun was a devilbiss on a 2 quart pressure pot , they work great the gun is in your hand. And the pot is in your other hand. You can turn the gun upside down and walk the length of the rockers etc. plus the fan is huge and they dump paint resulting in a slick finish or the fine line of running the shit out of it. They are great for big trucks tractors or things with alot of angles . I always used a Devilbiss but Binks makes them to.
