Who saw Rémy??
haven't got to watch it yet lol
@Blah Blah Looked like everyone was running Assegai up front
great now I have to watch it again to find a Remy cameo haha
@Blah Blah James was using a DHR2. Assegai/DHR2 is probably the most common tire combo you will see in the PNW and BC. Hunter was using Michelin Wild enduros, but his borrowed front wheel looked to have an Assegai. Ryan used to use Wild Enduros, not sure if he still does, I thought I saw an assegai up front on his bike.
When a local guide starts to giggle it is the real deal.
The high cam shot on that steep part of the trail at 12:16 was aweesomeee🤯 pls more of that🤘 Great video🔥
Rode Squamish(ish) for the first time last week, went full send with a Disneyland heli drop. Holy. Smokes. Can really appreciate the comments at the end about how Squamish riding is at another level.
"Right into the rhubarb" Gold.
16:49 When you see the seat, you know it's steep.
What an amazing looking trail!! Love all the wooden / rock features. Looks like fun!
It was too good. Never a dull moment in Squamish, that’s for sure 😅
Great vid - James seems like the kinda’ guy to have showing you the way when the “OMFG” factor is high. I’ve ridden past the exits for most of those trails many times, and can confidently say that I will never ride any of them (the older you get, the higher the self-preservation instinct, and the longer it takes to recover from injury). But the great thing about Squamish is that anybody can find trails that suit their level of riding, and that you can truly ride for days.
Is James on a RAW or what kind of frame is that? Oooh never mind it’s a raw frame but I think it’s a transition spire! Looks like you guys had some fun, my kinda trails:)
You got it! Always good times out in the Squamish jank 🤘
James is riding the Alloy Transition Patrol.
Hi Ryan, excellent footage, are you riding the original 210X55 size on rear shock? TIA
Based on his bike check vid, he is but he's running a cascade link out back as well
@@mrvwbug4423 it seems that the gap between the seatpost and the link it’s smaller ,but some people already put that question and Ryan never answer ahahah
@@pbls43 I'm not sure on the carbon version of the cascade link it does not increase travel unlike the alloy version which takes the AF up to 151 travel. I run the link on my Ripmo AF and it's a gamechanger on the Ripmo.,
What video editing software do you use? I’m tired of uploading my 4K footage into a 1080p only program that I use
DaVinci Resolve. Best editing program out there IMO.
Thanks man I appreciate you! Keep up the quality content. You inspire me.
As soon as I thought to myself "this must be much steeper than it looks, with all that braking going on",
voilà..! there you said it!
I rlly wish i had mtb friends
Location, location, location! You are very versatile. Yes, a whole new experience, thank you for including us in it.
Thanks for watching!
Did you decide to leave your Ripmo with the works headset fitted? Did you test a standard headset?
I just have to say. Way, way steeper than you think.
Hey Ryan- do you love your Ripmo? How tall are you and what size bike is it? I demoed the L and XL today and feel pretty between sizes. Looks like you might have a shorter stem on there which is what I’d need for the XL, but am leaning that way. You definitely seem to climb it very well! I’m just not sure it’s the perfect bike for me at this point, although I’m moving to Seattle soon and figure getting a head start with the heavy bike could help me acclimate. Wish I had some trails like this a little closer!!
Let's go to one of the most technical and difficult mountain bike destinations on the planet and then complain about it through 90% of the video 🤦🏻♂️ That was painful to get through Hope you guys had more fun riding it than I did watching this. Brutal
“Why are we doing this!?” 🤣
Nice work though! I really gotta ride Squamish next time I’m up that way
My bucket list just got updated... Looks AMAZING!
Cool video. Video doesn't do justice to the steepness and size of these features!! How did you get so good at rock slabs living in canmore? Not that many features like that around!
I don't think they are lying, it's just pretty hard to believe that Hunter just has about 2 years on a bike 🤔
Love these trails! I feel like your almost a squamish local now with how many videos you've done here
I see you and Hunter were channeling your inner Yoann with the "little pop!"
Would definitely love to see "other James" up in Squamish.
Did you decide to leave your Ripmo with the works headset fitted? Did you test a standard headset?
first
The real moon of endor. Brings back lots of good memories :)
James at RideBC is the best. So worth it!
loving these trails, more videos plz
Working on em!
Tech is not for me unless got a lil flow too it hard too find mt creek got few good tech trails tho
First video in a while that's made my hands sweat! Damn dude! Fun video to watch
Im not sure if you're aware @theloamranger , but I think the lack of engagement on this so far is people having problems playing your video. It certainly isnt working for me. It's just perpetually buffering.(Same thing on Matt Jones latest video)
Might be YT having a technical problem.
How tall are you and what size is your ripmo?
You can tell just by sitting on your deck at the end of the video that "he knows what he's doing" because he poured his beer in to a glass. Last video is Whistler noobs, this video is beer noobs.
Well done awesome video it looks like the juice is worth the squeeze😂🍻
Heck yes it was! Thanks 😀
That's fun tech in beginning
Absolutely treacherous video!!! DO a whole family bike check, please!!! ❤❤❤
the nervous laughs that all mountain bikers know.😂😂😂😂
Awesome video! Did James have something loose on his bike? Heard some rattling noises?
This might be a regional thing....but honestly that type of riding and trails are exactly what i avoid. To each their own....
What grips is Hunter using? They look real nice.
not first
This was sick
Awesome content 🤟
Wow two hours ago and only 9 comments
brakes are your best friend
Those trails look sick
Awesome ride guys!
