We normally go to St Ives for a holiday when we get time off work it's beautiful but does get really packed during the summer and traffic can be horrendous especially parking a car . Great video guys thank you
St Ives looked lovely! I think this was the first sunny day after winter so guessing people flocked there. Guessing there are a lot of day trippers so would be great to stay there and hopefully have the place quiet in the evenings and early mornings. Thanks! 😊
Another excellent ride with Sean & Emily. I appreciate all the hard work that you put into creating these amazing videos and all the meaningful commentary. Well done my friends!
Omg .. how things have changed!! .. I was able to the cliff edge without any charges, that's shocking 😲.. they've turned a beautiful spot into a circus 😢 .. fantastic drone shots guys. 🎉
Yeah pricey to park but the cliffs are free to explore (although not much use if you find somewhere to park lol). Yeah amazing how it felt like a theme park ….lizard point in the other episode was more of what we expected. ua-cam.com/play/PLl_mRzVHVQ0zUtFe7yIi6rO-2-k465D31.html&si=BMLusP11i5krLWZp
@@SeanandEmily Glad you're online guys. Bit pushy but do you think you could number each video from each tour in the future. My poor old brain needs help now and again especially when I don't know the title lol..I can't find the part from Loch Ness to Ullapool, can you please post the link .. thank you 😊
This might be a good idea 👍🏻 the episodes are all in order on the playlist. From Loch Ness we headed south not North to Ullapool. Here’s the episode where we ride to Ullapool if that’s the one you are looking for (if not let us know 😊) ua-cam.com/video/zB9lNM7LlGI/v-deo.htmlsi=Kqwle_jZHOuNmMnK
Hi, thanks 😎🙌🏻 glad you enjoyed it and it felt great getting up early to put the bike by the sign before the area got roped off 😁 thanks for watching and we appreciate your comments 👍🏻
For anyone happy and able to hike a few miles along the coastal path I would recommend Sennen Cove Harbour Car Park. Lovely walk to Land's End and car park charges that are far more realistic. Great views as well.
Loved the expression and video Thumbnail 🤣 It suits very well, but i have to say the views are incredible, been there done that and it had to be ticked of the list , looking forward to the John O'Groats 😂 as there you don't have to pay for the picture and you can ride your bike to the sign, but i presume you guys already done that 🤣🤣
Hi Alin, haha thanks -glad someone appreciated it 🤣 Yeah it's a must do location and is great to have a marker to begin or end a trip like this. Yeah we got there in the end (some people actually think we make these videos in the hotel and need about half and hour lol), agreed John O'Groats was better although we did actually manage to get the bike by the sign at lands end in for free .....did get up early for it though lol. Can't wait to make the Scotland videos it was spectacular.
As always a great video to watch, you both tell it like it is, my brother and I did an end to end ( lands end to John a groats) a while ago and at both ends everything was free even the post cards they sent to the hospital we did the ride for. How times have changed, Rip of Britain. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Stay safe.
Sounds like a great experience to enjoy with your brother -must have find memories 😊. Yeah we felt it was a bit wrong to stumble upon a theme park 😁 -maybe I’m we had just envisioned something else. First Stone Henge and now this ……the UK tour is turning into a more pricy tour than we expected 😳 Still we had the best of times seeing the UK and it’s spectacular sights 😊 Thanks for watching 😎👍🏻
I went for the first time last Summer. I only wanted a Quick look and had to pay the £7:50 parking. It tarnished the experience but it is a beautiful spot!
I used to go there every year as a kid with my family in the 1970's. It was completely different and free. I miss the country as it was back then. I wouldn't bother now.
Yeah looking at photos from that era everything did look better. Well cared for and people dressed so well too. Bikes were awesome too and lots more freedom to use them I guess.
Great vid, as always. I particularly enjoy the "banter" or dialogue between the two of you as you travel along. A quick question.....what do you do to minimise wind noise in the helmet...??...Kind regards to you both from Australia.
Thanks, glad you enjoy the videos and our ramblings 😁. Not a lot we can do about the wind noise but we tend to record at lower speeds (aka the speed limit lol). Microphones have fluffy covers on too which really cuts down noise but does tickle the nose from time to time 🤣
The Scotland part of the tour will be out in a few weeks time 😉 Lots of people share the same opinion! Thanks for watching and can’t wait to share the Scotland footage!!! 🏴
Back in the late 80’s I rode from Lands End to John O’Groats (end to end) in a day - not for the faint-hearted! Btw Lands End is not the most westerly point in Great Britain - it’s Ardnamurchan Point in Scotland. Maybe visit here too?
It is a little bit sad to see beautiful places like Lands end turning into touristic things. I do understand why, but still sad. Just amazing droneshots. Well droned 😊
Yeah, spots like this should be available to everyone (like stone henge). But I guess as it’s privately owned they can do what they want. Thank goodness the scenery is beautiful 😊
Hehe sure was -fortunately we managed to sneak the bike in early in the morning to get the photo 😉 the Hotel was £150 booked a day before we arrived, it was a beautiful room and included 2 full English breakfasts and parking.
Thanks, it’s been an awesome trip and there’s so many more spectacular rides ahead. Yeah a bit steep -just like stone henge. Beautiful coastline though. Thanks for watching 😎👍🏻
I agree it is wrong to charge for a photo with the sign however i dont agree with your comment Emily about the tacky message put on it in 2021 my niece and her partner walked the South West Coast Path in memory of her mum (my sister) she started at Jennycliff ( where Chris ashes are) in Plymouth and walked to Lands End and she is proud as are we the family of the photo pointing to Jennycliff showing they had walked 163 miles and raised alot of money for charity Her dad did manage to take a few pics over the officals shoulder so we do have a few 😉 Really enjoyed the drone footage such a wonderful coast.
No offence meant, of course meaning full messages like that must mean the world to you 🫶🏻. What a lovely thing to do to remember lost loved ones and important to have a special place to remember them. We are really glad you enjoyed the video and hope we did the scenery justice. Sean and Emily
@@SeanandEmily I dont think any video would ever do an injustice to Devon or Cornwall they are wonderful in all types of weather and times of day truly picture perfect.
How are they going to stop you taking your own photo?. So sad that they're allowed to get away with it. Daylight robbery and should be illegal. Great video as always.
They Rope off the area at around 8:00 and remove the sign, replacing it for the one that you can but your own message on. A real shame that people have to pay for a little snap. The site is privately owned so I guess they can charge what they wish. Glad you are enjoying the series and it's great to hear from you, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment 😎👍.
Exactly what I said in your last video, it’s a rip off location. It’s good to go just to say you have been but a friend and I wanted to take a photo of our bikes in front of the main entrance, (not down by the iconic sign), the gate keeper in the car park wouldn’t even let us do that without paying to park. We paid as we wanted a photo but it left a sour taste in our mouths. I won’t be rushing back.
Yeah totally get that, it is an iconic landmark and it’s a shame it’s been monetised to such a degree! Fortunately we got up early and got the photo with the sign (without charge) but not long after we took the bike away the ropes went up! Glad you got the photo though 😎
Yeah we do indeed go the very long way to John O’ Groats 😁. Yeah it was a bit of a money making place although somehow privately owned I guess they have that right. 😎🙌🏻

Lands End is a lovely area, but has been spoilt by the so called “visitor centre”. Visited a number of years ago with the children. Went once, never returned.
Yeah we agree, absolutely wonderful area but a money making machine. We actually said it must cost families a fortune to visit there for the day! Might as well go to Alton towers.
I think you're starting to understand the UK. Everything costs, and it costs a lot! Rip off Britain can be an overused phrase but it's built on sound foundations. It's a significant contributing factor as to why people that actually live in the UK go to other countries for their enjoyment. Yes, the UK weather is the main reason but the cost of the UK is a very close run second place. Tourists are low hanging fruit for these places.
Yeah it's been some years since we last lived in Britain and we were shocked as to the price of things -at times we were paying the same for hotels than in Switzerland! This 4 week tour of the UK actually cost us more than the 4 week tour of Norway we did last year -something we did not expect. So yeah it really is clear why people go to other countries to holiday. A shame really as it's a beautiful country.
Absolutely!! 😁 A must do for any tour of the UK, we are so glad we got the photo and we really enjoyed staying there -despite a few moans about the price 😂
