Both are defensive liabilities. Lakers lack 2 way players and there’s no lineup to put out there to hide it. JJ the same 3 guard lineups that Ham was criticized for.
Absolutely terrible shooting night for the lakers, but they looked a step slow from the second quarter on. JHS looks terrible, he's a black hole on offense, every single time he gets the ball it ends in a shot by him 🙄. I feel bad for bronny, they keep throwing him out there when he absolutely is not ready. It just highlights his deficiencies instead of allowing him to develop in private. I hope he gets that chance this year in the g league and we'll see if there's any improvement next year.
Dlo needs more looks. Weird running plays for konnect for 3s but not dlo the best 3pt shooter in lakers history. Warriors are not a good team pre season or not they shouldn't look that better than the lakers

And, bcuz They had Our Heads & Bodies spinning 😵💫 on Defense, We reverted to Stand in Our spots & watch LBJ or AD go 1on1 - Hopefully that Offensive Game Plan is a Preseason Social Experiment by JJ to show The Team that is a Horrible Offensive Strategy!!!
This situation with Bronny is turning into a mess. Now that JJ played Bronny last night and gave Quincy zero minutes, the Lakers are getting destroyed. I was concerned abt them drafting Bronny bec I thought it would take away from the season, a distraction. The Lakers have now lost 4 preseason games. Do you think it was a mistake that the Lakers drafted Bronny? Honest assessment Jovan.😢
I feel like we take way too many off-balance shots especially 3 pointers early in the shot clock. I wouldn't mind hearing a question for JJ about this. I mean is he telling these guys after the game look how quickly you're shooting look at your launch point and look at your balance it's no good don't shoot that shot.. or is everything just a green light?
I mean bron looked horrible. Took terrible shots and played 0 defense, the Lakers shooting has always been bad. The issue for the Lakers though is every shot they miss is just a turn over because no one rebounds or even attempts to.
Today's game worries me, I know it is pre season but it looked alot like last years problems, team doesn't look interested in rebounding.

The thing that worries me the most is the effort plays. Things like transition defense, second and third efforts on defense are lacking

Warriors switch everything this negating Laker offense. They end up match up hunting off switches in iso.
I like D'lo as the primary play maker with Lebron. I feel like Austin shines more when he isn't focused on running the offense.

Agreed. They were using them that way, at least for the first 30ish minutes. I don't recall a lineup without at least one of them.
Games vs the Warriors are where we miss Vando and C Wood + hopefully Gabe Vincent can be a Dennis Schroder type of a pest defender against guards

Lakers look the same as last year. They can't hit a shot. Dlo and AR shouldn't start together, they suck on D. Max has to start for one of them.
