Lasagna Soup (one batch feeds our family of 9)
    2 lbs. ground beef
    1/2 onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 gallon broth
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. dried basil
    1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano
    1/2 Tbsp. dried rosemary
    1 tsp. pepper
28 oz. can of diced tomatoes
    6 oz. tomato paste
1 lb. (approx. 6 cups) of pasta such as rotini or penne
    Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Place ground beef in soup pot with onion and garlic. Cook until meat is browned and onion is soft. (If your meat has a lot of fat, you may need to drain it off.) Add broth, seasonings, and tomato products. Bring to a boil, then add pasta. Stir and continue to boil for 10 minutes or until pasta is done. Add shredded cheese to bowls just before serving. Enjoy!

      Yes she most definitely is
      Such a treasure these days
You don't see many like her
Most having there faces buried into a game console or constantly on social media laying around letting the Mom do all the work self entitlement it's ridiculous gotten way out of hand these days for these young ones
And always helping her Mama 💖

Great video! For those that may have smaller families and intend to have leftovers: halve the cooking time on the pasta, remove to a container and store/freeze. This is because the pasta will continue to cook & swell, absorbing a lot of the extra liquid. You can also add a couple of finely diced carrots & celery to include some vegetables.

I’ve made something similar called skillet lasagna. I break up lasagne noodles and cook them in the sauce. Then add dollops of ricotta cheese that melts into little islands. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and/or Parmesan cheese. You could also add a generous spoonful of ricotta to each bowl of your soup!🤤❤️

Love your videos, a big hello from Ireland! Your family reminds me of my mothers big family and I am blessed that I learnt my cooking skills from my mother and grandmother, that I have passed on to my children now, so that they can pass on to the next generation hopefully. Its so important that we keep these traditions alive and your family is so natural at doing this, with lots of tips, so thank you so much for sharing on UA-cam. P.S Your bone broth looks so good, ( I saw on another video), its what we do in Ireland too when we use up all the remains of the chicken. Nothing goes to waste! Our tradition here is to add barley, red lentils, onion, carrot, parsley and leeks. Instead of bread we have big floury potatoes!

Hi Sarah. I'm just wondering if your mama would consider loaning you out to me, lol. I'm a mother of 4 boys so I don't have a daughter to cook with. It makes my heart dance to see you helping your mama in the kitchen.
You are a beautiful and smart young woman and I love getting to watch you grow. As for your lasagna soup, I do have a son, he's now 45 and he started to like cooking recently. He sent me a video of him making this soup.Unfortunately he lives 16hours away and I can only cook with him when I visit. But, what I wanted to say is, it is delicious. We add a little cottage cheese, mozzarella, cheddar or ricotta when we serve it....try it, I think you'd like it. Thanks for reminding me about this soup 😊
I know I wrote you a book, lol, so sorry....you are an awesome cook and just maybe this could be a good career choice for you?!?
God Bless you and your family!

When scraping foods from your cutting board with a knife, you should use the dull side, it'll scrape across it smoother and will save your blade.
I've been giving thought on turning a couple of my pasta dishes into soup recipes, just ain't got around to it yet, but they're both white sauces, no tomatoes.
If all you have is spaghetti noodles, break them up and use them, it won't kill ya.

I enjoy watching Sarah cook! She is such a beautiful woman and watching her make this look so easy, I'm going to be trying it soon! I'm on a diet Journey. I've gone from 400 and going to 150 pounds. I'm currently at 271. I am eating everything I want, just keeping a journal of every day's calories. I'm eating a maximum of 1,200 a day. Started last year in April. I love learning more about homestead living as in 1967 newly married, we almost did. I love the getting back to nature and being so much closer to God and wholesome dressing and living. I have a question. Do you ever have families that get divorced or never are able to bear children? I ask because that was what happened in my life. We divorced after 28.5 years. I always feel that if we would have homesteaded from the beginning, we wouldn't have divorced. Were both alive yet at 75 and 76, and this year, September 2nd, we would have celebrated 56 years married. He remarried, I never did. Love all of your family 🙌🙏❤

All of your children pitch in and are learning how to get through life without having to depend on others in order to run a home, grow their own vegetables, do laundry, and just all the things required in order to be self-sufficient. It's lovely to see such a close family, well-mannered and cheerful kids. Thanks for sharing.

This is very close to the recipe I make. Instead of diced tomatoes I use pasta sauce though! And my husband likes when I break up actual lasagna noodles lol. It’s a very good soup!
