Also mario maker is basically this but with nintendo’s most important series being available for almost full on editing. They are kinda already doing it, just separately and in different ways.

Let me remind you that nowadays, you can take a picture of a google image with a Game Boy Camera, and transfer that image to Mario Artist and use it as a texture. Yes, anything on the internet.

Himbone was the first to fall to the madness, ecstasy coursing through his system as all logic collapsed around him. He joined the head, which revealed it's name to be "poo". An absurd name, but one that fit the chaos it brought perfectly. It was if logic was the universe's constipation, and he was the laxative. However, this tear-down of reality awoke another primal being, Chiakora, the Chicken god. Himbone mistakenly brought himself and poo to this long-asleep god, erupting in rage at the irreversible damage they caused to reality. Poo tried to explain his actions, his *speens* communicating his philosophy and goal, but Chiakora would not listen. With his eldritch power, he summoned forth the ultimate weapon of the gods: a standard military issue submachine gun. In an instant, Poo was eliminated from this plane of existence. However, the damage was already done. The laxative had been fully digested, and all logic had evacuated from the universe, leaving only the vengeful god and Himbone, who was just happy to be there. All they could do was dance, dance a dance of shallow victory, play a song of joy as a note of desolation played throughout the universe. -ert
Vinny's F Zero stage reminds me of that episode of I AM WEASEL where I R Baboon and Weasel switched bodies, and IR designed a bridge that didnt connect to the other side, so everyone just drove off and drowned.

There were meant to be four other games in the Mario Artist suite (namely Game Maker, Sound Maker, Graphical Message Maker and Video Jockey Maker) but they never got released, and there was also an old service you could use to put them online that was shut down (Communication Kit). Four whole games worth of abominations, countless users worth of atrocities, lost to the world...just imagine what would happen if we had access to all of them.
Mario Artist is an interoperable suite of three games for Nintendo 64: Paint Studio, Talent Studio, and Polygon Studio. Paint Studio is the one and only game was released on December 11, 1999, and it looks like Mario Paint. Talent Studio is the second game released on February 23, 2000, and you can make movies by creating characters. Lastly, Polygon Studio is the final game released on August 29, 2000, and you can make you very own character (or 3D models), and then, explore the world.

It’s crazy to think we never got this in the US. This genuinely seems as atmospheric and wild as PS1 games, with the audio quality of one too to be honest. I would love if Nintendo finally localized these games for the Switch Online
