4:21 You need to slowly condition to a baby to get used to flying. The noise is typically terrifying and overwhelmingly loud.
1. Fly many short hops when you can to get them used to being on an aircraft.
2. Let them hear airplane noises on UA-cam so they get comfortable with the noises they make.
3. AVOID evening flights with a baby if possible because they are likely to be too exhausted and very difficult to settle down.
4. Bring headphones for a baby to block out as much noise as possible.
5. Have something that a baby can suck on so the pressurization creates the least impact on them as possible.

😂 Yup, can't miss those. And yes, that procedure is very normal to save fuel. Many airlines also do it after landing where they shut down one engine and just taxi with the other.
