This is really helpful. I need to dig into Step Edit more, for sure. My first thoughts while watching this.. Can you copy/paste any notes, similar to Move Data on the ESX? Also, can you put in motion sequence values here?
I wish you could enter motion sequece values in step edit! Unfortunately no to both. You can do the 1 bar to 4 bar move that will copy across the 4 bars, but not individual steps. Also there is a motion control on/off per step that I need to explore.
@bangcorupt over at Hacktribe is working on making velocity a modulation source that would give us one lane of per step modulation! I think there was also talk about making a modulation matrix vs modulation single slot, that would be a major game changer and take the synth engine to the next level imo.
