Turbo Miata Turbo Blanket Install | Caught on Fire??

Hey guys!
In this video we installed a turbo blanket that I got from my good friend Chris on the turbo NA. Install was smooth and it works great! But we ran into some problems, car started to smoke like crazy after driving it for the first time. Since that though the car has not smoked since, even after driving it for 70+ miles. I'd say i's pretty good now, but the smoke was for sure alarming. I've read that turbo blankets sometimes smoke as they break n so I'm assuming thats what happened.
