- This is day number 4 of not having a cellphone! im going all October with no phone! How long do y'all think I'll make it?? Today I spent the whole day with the love of my life. First we went to breakfast and surprised a random lady sitting by her self by paying for her meal, then we went to target and did a little shopping I came home and started editing and a bird hit our back window and was laying on the back porch so I did what I could to save him. we ended the day by washing my truck with my kids and it was great. Ill be daily vlogging the journey so see y'all in tomorrows video

Great "feel good" video. It's refreshing to see a normal happy family enjoying each other. I don't have a phone, so there's nothing to miss. Yes, I'm apparently one of three people walking the planet that doesn't own a cellphone. I had one for a couple of months, but really, I just couldn't get into it. Your children are such a joy. Happy and healthy and full of fun, the way it should be. Just showing us snippets of your every day life has been more than enjoyable. You're a good husband and a great father !!!

It rained on Oklahoma City last night for the first time in forever. My car was filthy. I pulled it out of the garage and into the driveway for a free car wash. Pulled it back in and toweled it down. Perfecto!!

Al,i have a big window in my kitchen and it's knocked out many birds. They make decals for windows to help birds know they are flying into a reflection. Also, having a light on in the house behind the window during the day helps. I feel so blessed, being able to hold several until they recover enough to fly. Seems those curled get straightened out when they get their bearings back.

Had the same thing happen Al---beautiful kingfisher crashed into a window while being chased by bigger bird--both dead. Put visible stickers [ decorative ] on all outside window surfaces where birds think it's just a continuation of the bush. Cheers from Australia.

I watched day 5 video before this one. When your wife was driving, I noticed her watch on her right arm. This video she's using her left hand to eat. So she's a south paw! lol I should have figured that out just by the watch, but you never know. I call people I know that are left handed, that they are wrong handed. I love these videos. Something cool would be how you store your equipment and organize it at your house/shop
When a bird hits your window and doesn't move but isn't dead it usually has a concussion and needs some rest. Put it in a box for a while and close the lit. This will help the bird. Keep an eye on the box. After 30 or 45 minutes or so the bird will be able to fly away safely.
