So many of you guys have been telling us to go to Alentejo, but we just haven't found the right time.
Until last weekend when we went on a super spontaneous romantic getaway to Alentejo.
Amalie found a place called L'And Vineyards where we booked a night to spoil ourselves with luxury, amazing food and scenic nature.
It was absolutely amazing. Sometimes it baffles us how many good things you can get out of just 24 hours somewhere new.
Alentejo really stole our hearts. It is one of the most idyllic places we have ever visited. After we left the winery, we went on a long drive through the region of Alentejo just to take in the nature and we were in AWE.
We cannot wait to get back and make more Alentejo vlogs.

The Alentejo has the best white wines in the world and also has the best gastronomy, but you have to go further inland. And with your 4 x 4 you are perfectly prepared to explore the Alentejo.

The interior alentejo is an immense plain with few white Mediterranean houses.
The Alentejo is beautiful in the spring when nature gives unique colors to the countryside.

Great video you 2, one of the best. Loved that honeycomb during breakfast. Alentejo has great wines, cheeses, charcuterie and rich cuisine.
We got absolutely hooked on having our own honeycomb in our apartment. It doesn't get more natural and organic than that!

@@stayclassyvlog There are shops which sell mostly regional products, and they have a jar with honey and honeycomb inside. It is kind of expensive and you will get less honey. You can always buy honey from local markets, and it is going to be organic. I recall you bought once.

i noticed you talked about seeing the stars so my tip is, if u ever get back, just to lay on the floor outside. I saw the best star Rain shower in my life there.
In mid August is the best time in every year to watch the famous Pleiades star rain shower.
It's a great place. You are lucky have had such a beautiful workplace. So tranquil!
Check out the Pestana Palace Hotel in Belém. It is gorgeous. Very baroque, monarchy like rooms. And also consider going to Serra da Estrela. Casa de São Lourenço is a Burel 5* Hotel and it is incredible

I still think you should try understanding Portugal. Greatness doesn’t come by coincidence. In Brazil we say that we Portuguese descendants do everything with excellency, so this may have a more profound meaning.
I know that you have to enjoy yourselves, but you need to some how describe the foods you are tying and say what they are made with.
Portugal brought an enormous amount of culture to the old state of Brazil and I got to experience Portugal in tropical fashion. They mastered food. BraZil has unlimited dishes, all cuz of the Portuguese.
Visit Vasco da Gama, visit Dom Enrique I, visit the last kings burial site, visit Luiz de Camões. Understand why this country Went out to explore the world, understand why they have put an step accent in the good things of life.
If I am not mistaken, Amelia was the last queen of Portugal, and it is funny that her name sounds like “Amelia”. It is an “old” classy name. It Matches with your title name.

Wow, again and again, you guys nailed it, the video is amazing. I'm gonna book that hotel, looks amazing. Summer shorts with 13 degrees? Any Portuguese will tell you that 13 degrees is north pole cold. I'm sure you're a big hit everywere you go with that shorts ;) You need to go to Monsaraz the medieval hilltop village in Alentejo, amazing food and wine and the views are breathtaking. THe Borba wine region in Alentejo is one of the top wine regions in Portugal.

Thanks! The footage was actually shot on our old drone, the mavic pro. We forgot the charger to our new and much better Mavic 2 Pro, so I'm happy you are impressed with the quality, because it is terrible when compared. (we can't get a new charger anywhere 😡)

by the way, been in Namibia too, know the Cubango and Cuito rivers, when your in Namibia it becomes Okavango... for more adventures you should have visited the south of Angola, the Cunéne, Namibe, Huíla and Cuando-Cubango provincies... it's more "raw" know what i mean? heee
and also Alentejo is the top 1 of the wine regions for us portuguese, Douro is second and the third place is a very competitive one :)

The most important regions of wine yards are : Alentejo (strong red wine). Dão (Viseu region). Douro (port wine region). I love alentejo wine.

You can't beat Portuguese wines specially for the price. And cheese from Serra da Estrela the best in the world. And even Champagne try Raposeira Super Reserva or if you can't get one try Reserva.

What lenses do you use when filming? Is it the same or do you use somthing different for b roll?
Hi Chris. Yeah, we use different lenses. We use a 16-35 F4 for our “conversation shots” then we have 85 14 for b-roll, but we also use a macro lense 100 m macro F28. All from Canon. For our zoom shots we use the 70-200 F28, sometime with an 2x extender. Joen is the one who really knows a lot about cameras and so. But I hope this information was enough. Otherwise let me knows🙂😍😘

The reason you have to eat so much in Portugal is because the air is so pure which increases your metabolism! I’m from the Countryside but currently leaving in the States on I visit I just keep eating and I don’t gain weight!
