The lens, flash, ISO - none of that really matters, when you have a model as beautiful as Rayna. ALL the photos will come out great! As usual, I learned another tip from you, about aiming the flash away from the face. And your Premium Courses are AMAZING!!! Lots of great info! Thanks!
1.)Why should we choose f1.8 prime lens over f1.4 prime lens vice versa.. 2.) How to compensate a few fstop difference on prime lenses using iso, shutter speed or flash. In terms of practicality, cost to actual usage, fstop difference, I believe this is a good topic for a lot of beginners.. I hope you notice this..thanks!
1. F 1.4 lens so much more expensive . Like nikon 35 1.8 fx 550 usd, while 35 1.4 nikon is 1500 usd. And the weight is much heavier. Even u use miroless like sony . Sony 35 1.8 weigh 250 gram while 35 1.4 x2 price also 550 gram. f1.4 is for pro who know when to use 1.4 . Pro want not only f1.4 also want high end feature like nano, weather seal better . If u are amateur and u go travel, u only want a camera or 1-2 lens with lowest weight and easiest to carry. Imagination u go travel with family, walking in a moutain with in back with 2 high end len ~ 1.5-2 kg + camera 500-1kg. It gona hurt your back and at that moment u just want something lighest as posible. And the result is like same as 90-95% high end lens. Instead of carry heavier lens with f1.4 to shoot lowlight, get a small flash like godox tt350 250 gram and use flash gona make image much much better. f f1.4 is only for pro, more bokeh, more light = lower iso but your image more blur of part dont in focus. U dont want take a photo that only eye in focus and all face blur unless u know what gona hapen(that what pro know). Most of time i shoot photo potrait at 2.8 , some time 2.0 and i never use 1.4 unless i want like only focus 1 small part in image. for me 85 1.4 is no need, 24/35/50 1.4 is okay. 85 1.4 lens is so heaiver that i think weight must like 1 kg. 2. the rule is : fstop 1.4/2/2.8/4/5.6/8/11. Each one x2 brighter and it call 1 stop. f1.4 have x2 brighter than f2, x4 brighter than f2.8 and f8 brighter than f4. 1 stop = x2 light, 2 stop = x4 light, 3 stop x8 light. 1/100 f1.4 = 1/50 f2 = 1/25 f2.8=1/12 f4
very nice thank you sir
Nice pictures, Rayna is soo cute
