@@harrihaffi2713 Some of the movies I have actually never watched all the way through but am familiar with the stories, characters, some directors, etc.
I've already made the quizzes for the rest of the week and the weekend but I'll do my best to put something together for you for Monday evening :) Glad you enjoyed this one!
18/20 I am not a Japanese film fan and missed Paul Newman too. So I had it right for every Hollywood (and British) classics before the late sixties 😘 Thank you for the quiz !
Loved this, I got 15 right , Now I must watch the ones I missed. Make more, make more!!! (LOL) I am a special education and old movies are my escape. I only started watching them when I was 43 or so and ten years later I am an avid fan I live in Fremont and there is the Charlie Chaplin museum (he made movies in Niles Canyon) and they show silent films in part of the original building he filmed in with Essany Films. If you ever come to the Bay Area it is a must see AND they have an old theater in Palo Alto that is the original and they show "talkies" It is the summer of Jimmy Stewart and Hitchcock. Totally different experiences but both are worth the trip. Niles is very small but they have things you can see and touch (and buy) whereas Palo Alto does not have memorobilia but the theater is large and surrounded by trendy shops and great restuarants. I am lucky I live in between the two
That is very true and if you are obsessed with movies like me, the quiz would not be a challenge - BUT, I'm trying to make things fun for everyone, which is why I put the cast in. I COULD make a bastard-hard movie challenge, which I would love to do, but no-one would watch it :(
This is extremely easy! It's not that they are true classical it is also that are the most famous (the only one I didn't heard about was Newman's 1969, but for me that is no true classic because of the date). The rest, just with the actors and the director... it's a no brainer
So many great films. I feel sorry for the young people today where all their movies are special effects and comic books. You'll notice what all these great movies share is that they all have wonderful stories to tell.
That is very true - but I do have a soft spot for big dumb effects driven movies, the kind I can just put on my second screen for background noise while I'm working :)
No excuse! A great movie is a great movie! Plenty of French films are considered classics here in the US. I hope you get a chance to watch the ones you haven't seen yet.
20. Thanks for highlighting actual classic films!
Only 16/20, but WHAT a great selection of movies !!!
Easy peasy. And made even easier when the clues had some of the words in the movie title!
16 of 20 correct
Well done!

I really enjoyed the memories. I got most of them. Thank you so much 🎉. I'm waiting for the old country music quiz 😊

That was a toughie! I got 8 right. :)
Aww, that's ok :) I hope you still enjoyed it...
@@carolesquizzes It was okay. I'm not really into the very old classics myself. But all your quizzes are interesting. ♥

Thank you for the quiz !
Great score! ❤️
I got 8 right and I am happy with that as some I have never heard of or seen was a good quiz as I love classic movies
I guess I’m “too young” for knowing some of them, but you’ve given me a good little list of must sees! Thanks!
14 correct. 6 I've not seen before.
Got them all!
Awesome, very well done!

Oh, that's really cool, it sounds awesome ❤️❤️❤️ After the weekend is over, I will make another Classics quiz for you! ❤️
8 Plus you gave some away in the question. However, I was whispering Rosebud before you showed it.
17/20 -- great quiz, great movies. Two that I missed I hadn't ever seen, the third (Anatomy of a Murder) I just couldn't think of the title!
5 wrong. Love anything with HB in it especially Casablanca.
That's a good performance :)
Knew all of these. Have seen them all.
Missed "M".....never heard of it ! Got all the rest.
Very nice! ❤️
The true classics are usually pretty easy to identify - the cast gives it away.

I've seen every one of these movies, except M and The Third Man, at least five times.
17 out of 20, missed Laura, M, & Sullivan's Travels
Got them all
I didn't get LAURA M or SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS 17/20
I did however get quite a lot of them from just the cast.
Sullivan's Travels was a bit niche, I'll admit ❤️
20/20/ Thank you.
I'm an old movie fan. I guessed every one of these just by the year and cast.
20/20
Only two wrong. I'm feeling lucky.

About 10 but I'm French ! 🗼

19/20
Missed "M'
19 right. just couldn't dredge the name Laura out the the 77 year old memory bank.
Yes. Yes I can.
16.
Smith Brenda Anderson Scott Harris Brenda
I don't like the way it's presented. It's too fractured. Interrupts the memory retrieval's
Got them all!
Nicely done ❤️
