Apparently I stopped watching movies around 2010! 😂
Just what I was thinking 😊
@@ElaineWarren-lp5uh +1
Notice that starting in the 2000s, they had to start using kids' movies.
Ditto
Ditto also.
The Sting was released in 1973. It won a Best Picture Oscar over The Exorcist.
Thank you for catching that error. I had it as 1973 originally, but I'm not sure why I changed it.
1968 oscar for best make up....planet of the apes as 2001 used real apes (SMH)
It was released in uk in 1974
2001 didn't use real apes .@@philiprice7875
I thought The Sting came out in '73.
It did. Yes 73.
There were some movies with female leads during that time, I believe.
All right 100% yea Sting was released in 1973, Godfather 2 was 1974.
I missed 5 of them...Good quiz though!
Fun quiz but there was definitely a year when I stopped knowing any of the movies, well, maybe one or two. I haven't been to a movie since Memoirs of a Geisha. Slightly behind the times 😮😊
Until about 2005 I did recognize (almost) all movies, later I do know less than I don't. "Groundhog day" is one of my all-time favorites (besides "Into the night" with Michelle Pfeiffer and Jeff Goldblum), as well as "The tall guy". I also missed "Blues Brothers" 😎😎
For The Sting all I could think about was Ragtime. My brain knew it but didn't want to help me😂
They seem to be less memorable the closer to the present they become.
Loved the 'instant regret fails' clip! Thank you!
I was doing fine until 2017. Not only did I not know the names, I didn't know the movies.
53/54. Couldn't have gotten Uncharted with a thousand guesses.
I only got it cuz I played the game. Born in '70. 🤘
I missed the first Indiana Jones. I said Temple of Doom, because that's what I remember seeing.
@@nadiaddis1145 Cancel whatever you're doing tonight and watch _Raiders_ . The sequels were meh (Connery notwithstanding) but _Raiders_ was Spielberg and Lucas at their peak. 1000% recommend. 🙂🙂🙂
Quite Action Movie dominated. It would be more interesting if the genres are more mixed.
Got everything except Shape of Water, which looked like a Creature from the Black Lagoon remake.
Fun quiz since I was born in '70.
It's a strange movie, but I really enjoyed it.
I did fine until 2005. Only got 3 right after that.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
"44 out of 53" !
Great quiz, thanks! I did not get 7 of the movies.
Got 43 and didn't miss one until 2002.
Cool!
I missed like 3 in the 70’s and then the final one from 2023.
Got a favorite movie?
Everything apart from Patton and Goblet of Fire (guessed the wrong Harry Potter movie).
I feel you, man!! I guessed Temple of Doom when they showed the first Indiana Jones still. Yet SOMEHOW, I guessed correctly on Patton.
Up to 2010, I got all but 1 1/2. I'll give myself partial credit for Rambo - I didn't know which film in the series.
I missed 4 in the last 15 years.
I guessed the right Harry Potter based on the ages of the leads. MCU films could have been tougher.
36 correct
Good quiz I got 31
Agree
I missed 7. All were since 2000 and All I'd never seen.
I got 50 and 12 of those I hadn’t seen
I got Harry Potter right
Cinema is my second home which is probably why i got all of these right
Got 5 wrong.
More if you count the ones that I remembered the title wrong for. Started happening when we got to the 2010’s.
Think I got all the 80’s ones. Even Bladerunner. Guess the blade was shiny enough this time so I could see it come running. Usually get Bladerunner wrong.
Nice concept with one movie per year. Really like that.
I learned in that quiz that I WATCH TOO MUCH FILM LOL
47/54. Some of the movies I never watched.
52 out of 54, and only two of them I've never seen; 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'Gran Turismo'. (I got Gran Turismo right though, but couldn't remember the name of 'Unchartered' until it was too late).
When you've watched virtually all these movies but can't remember the titles - clearly those ones didn't leave too much of an impact 😂
Missed three - Blade Runner and the final two.
Good score! I hope you liked it! 🎉
In Europe the sting was named the clou, strange...😮
50 out of 53... I didn't know the first one (Patton) and thought, well, this is going to be a disaster. But then I got Top Gun mixed up and I hadn't seen Gran Tursimo either.
Wow, the only one I got wrong was the first one. (I thought it was M*A*S*H for some reason.) 😳🥳
I made the same mistake. Both movies are from 1970, so not too far off. Also, they didn't show Patton, so I just thought of a war movie from then. I also missed the animated ones because I don't watch that kind of crap; and the most recent ones because I haven't had a chance to catch those yet.
Just the opposite - the only one I got wrong was the last one.
Wasn't sure on the first one, but I guessed Patton.
The only ones i missed were Se7en and Drive.
I got 47
That's good!
49 right
I thought Soul was not released in cinemas in 2020, but in 2024. It went to streaming first, didn't it? Also, I thought it Godfather 2 was 1974, and Sting 1973
50/54
i thought gran turismo was a clint eastwood flick from a few years ago.
it was Grand Torino
Grand Torino
Forty-seven. I seem to have a poor knowledge of films released 2010-2020.
19
One wrong .. but then i never saw uncharted.
That's a good score! 🥳Congratulations! 🏅
51/53
Dropped "soul" and "gran turismo"
Can't decide if I've wasted my life or not😂😢😂😢
Really nice score!!
45 out of 54. 7 of my 9 misses were after 2010.
23/54
Missed four.
I was pretty sure getting them all would be fairly easy,
so I started by guessing which films you were going to select.
Got them all and "pre-guessed" 8 correctly, but none after 1995.
Since I also pre-guessed "The Sting" for 1973, technically I did nine correctly...
Thanks for the trivia.
I hope you enjoyed it, we'll soon make a slightly more difficult version.
Only one got wrong was I picked the wrong Harry Potter film
not bad 45 right oh and did not guess any
Me neither!
Well done!
What’s your favorite movie?
@@harrihaffi2713 cant give ONE depends on my mood

6th day (loved the premise)
the Martian

long good friday
@@philiprice7875 That’s a pretty wide range. Got some movies I like there and some that I don’t. Cool
@@harrihaffi2713 tbh my fave is not a movie (well it was butchered into a movie)
das boot
the tv mini series in german with subtitles stunning
@@philiprice7875 Cool!
Have been thinking about watching that one, but never got to it.
Now I got more motivation
30
Only missed 1, and that was The Sting. Not because I didn't know the movie, but because it was listed under the wrong year. But you know that already, so no harm, no foul.
The Sting Is from 73
The only one I missed outright was the first one, Patton. I said Outsiders when I clearly meant Untouchables, and I knew Million Dollar Baby, even though I forgot its name. Also, just saying Harry Potter is close enough, I didn't have to name one of the 37 movies specifically to get a "W" on that one. :P
I named two wrong, two I just didn't know, and two I missed the buzzer for a total of 48 right. (How's that for math?)
There are 54 in total, so your math seems correct to me! 🎉
I missed 10
41
15 wrong
Notice how the movies get worse and worse and worse?
Disagree with that statement 100%. If anything it's the opposite
@@andrewburton9643 ........which makes you an eternal KID..........
Way to be a negative NELLY! You do a list then!!!
Yes it’s true
Think the same

How did I get the first and last wrong?
Why would you show Karl Malden in the picture for Patton, he didn't even play the lead! It should've been George C. Scott at least that would've been accurate
Not sure if that would have helped me. Haven’t seen Patton.
Karl Malden I’m a bit familiar with though. Would you have gotten On the water front correct if you saw him instead of Brando?
I might… but I could just as easily gotten it wrong though
@@harrihaffi2713 no, they should've been showing the leads for the movies, not secondary characters
@@kristentaylor5359 Agree to disagree
@@harrihaffi2713 so you think showing a side character is as good as showing the main? Right
@@kristentaylor5359 Nope.
Showing side characters is more tricky.
But quizzes should be a bit tricky.
You get more satisfaction out of recognizing the movie because of the side-characters than the main.
51, never heard of "Soul" or "Silver Linings Playbook" (what a stupid name for a movie), couldn't think of a racing movie in that year (so I said Le Mans '66 also known as Ford vs Ferrari) and never even realised Gran Tourismo had been made into one!
Where I pulled Pan's Labyrinth from I'll never know........
I got about 20-something, but after 2001, I lost interest in the rubbish being released. Surprised to see Bladerunner was released in 1982. We went to the cinema to watch that. Anyhoo ...
Always some dumba** haters with their stupid comment! Yet they never make a list! I liked this thanks! I got only 6 wrong! 3 being cartoons as I don't watch all of those! Thanks for the effort.
I only missed the first one because I never watched Patton.
You should
Great movie
100 %...........until the bubble gum movies of the 2000's
